8th Feb 2025 (7 weeks ago)Claire was excellent and super efficient. She made sure to always give me a call when we had an update and made sure to arrive home what we were looking to get out of the sale and convey to potential buyers the benefits of our property.
16th Feb 2025 (6 weeks ago)Although Concentric managed to sell my property rather quickly, this had more to do with me accepting about at lesst £10 000 less than market value for the house. As far as I am concerned the house sold itself. I was disappointed with the performance of Concentric in terms of slow replies, and mis - information. Ie not knowing who was supposed to be coming for a viewing. The gentleman that ended up buying my property turned up without an appointment. I once communicated that I would like some photos amended. Concentric sent an agent to the property and he took new photos with a mobile phone. These photos weren't even uploaded to the various housing agencies such as rightmove.
30th Oct 2024 (21 weeks ago)Haven't used the estate agent services but we received three pages of "higher value homes Q3 update" which we did not request, no consideration for the environment sending so much unsolicited paper correspondence. ????
1st Nov 2024 (21 weeks ago)I had an excellent experience with Joe Lambeth in securing a mortgage for me. As a first time buyer, my experience couldn’t have been more a positive one. Joe made sure I understood everything and guided me every step of the way. He always answered my queries and concerns. I just moved into my apartment and I am very pleased with it. I highly recommend Joe if you are looking for someone to help you out with your mortgage process.

26th Jan 2025 (9 weeks ago)Some communication issues - asked for call backs on two occasions and did not receive any. Not sure 'mate' is the sort of language one should use when in conversation with a client ? Not sure who was responsible for the on-line marketing ? I think it may have been iamsold? Was promised a Boxing day re-market as this, historically, is a strong day for on-line views - this was not actioned and we had to call to query - this was later sorted on or around the 28th December - some days after the 'strong day' the 26th December 2024 - not sure if there is a disconnect between Bairstows and Iamsold, so this may be disingenuous to Bairstows ? We would still recommend Bairstows Walsall.

20th Feb 2025 (5 weeks ago)We took instructions from Bartlams in respect of the sale of our home. From the outset they were professional, honest and had our best interests at heart. They were totally committed to providing us with up to date information and support when the interests in our home both rose and fell. They gave us realistic advice regarding pricing and promoting of the property and maintained a healthy and robust contact policy with us. At all times the staff were courteous and engaging and supportive up until the point of sale. We would have no hesitation in recommending Bartlams if you wish to ride upon the selling your home merry go round in the near future

Their staff are in the same mould. There was always a friendly voice at the end of the phone to deal with our queries. We found their charge rates to be very competitive.

14th Oct 2024 (24 weeks ago)Rude. Was expecting to hear when I could pick up the keys and they forgot about me. When I messaged I had the following rude response. "You have asked for a date to collect keys, which is my understanding that you have taken a room with us None of our previous conversation states which room you have taken Your contact number does not show on our system as a proposed tenant. Unfortunately we have three agents at Genie homes so you could have taken the room with the other two agents, im just trying to help find out which property so we can arrange your keys". Unfortunately we deal with hundreds of applicants per day, so i apologise that i needed to clarify". The snotty ending was terrible. It's there fault I'm not on the system yet somehow they expect me to provide them with all the information. Out of the 3 people that worked there could have said, oh yes I know him, my bad, I'll sort it. Terrible ans unorganised. Do not use! Used another company that was brilliant.
18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
