I booked Berriman Eaton to come out to value my property. The man who came to value it was one of the nicest people to meet. Not pushy at all. I decided to instruct them there and then. So far my advert is on Rightmove and the pictures are of very high quality. If you are thinking of letting use Berriman Eaton!
In 2016 I rented a property with Berriman Eaton and they did not inform me that it was up for sale UNTIL I had signed a contract and moved in. Therefore I could have been evicted at any moment but had signed a six month contract and could not back out. Despite of this, Berriman Eaton continuously assured me that whoever purchased the property would be my new landlord and that I would remain safe in my new home.
When people wanted to view the property when I was unavailable to show them around due to work commitments, Berriman Eaton insisted that they have a spare key from the office and allow the potential buyer to let themselves in and have a look around my home by themselves - not even accompanied by someone from the letting office! I would go as far as to say the way this company treated myself and my partner was inhumane as they had no regard for me, my home or my personal belongings.. aslong as they were making money.
Berriman Eaton then attempted to steal my deposit money. They refused to release the money to me, telling me that the landlord had decided to keep it. When previous to this, my partner was at the Berriman Eaton Tettenhall office when one of the letting team contacted the landlord when he stated that we could have our deposit back as we had moved out of the property as soon a we possibly could after receiving a two month notice to vacate the property as someone was interested in buying it. The landlord said we did not have to pay the last months rent as we had moved out of the property. So he was under the impression that I was receiving the deposit and Berriman Eaton were telling me that the landlord would receive the deposit. When I told the letting team that I had managed to obtain the landlords contact details and would be asking him if this information was correct, they said they would release my money to me within 48 hours. Which then made me think, were Berriman Eaton going to pocket my money after lying to both myself and the landlord.
I had an awful experience with this company, and if anyone is considering letting a property with them I strongly advise you to look elsewhere. They are nothing but con artists and treated me in such a disgraceful way. I am so grateful to now be with a letting agency who are not deceitful thieves.
The people who valued the house and prepared the advert were excellent and the house sold the first day
Poor service overall - I had really high expectations of DB Roberts as I've dealt with many independent agents in the past and found their service to be hit and miss.
The original appointment to view my property was excellent and Kevin (the representative) was very professional. Once the paper work was signed it went down hill from there.
No communication, no viewing for weeks on end and my property is still empty after 2 months on the market.
For an establish company they seem to have got very complacent.

Begun An enquiry with one member of staff who informed me and my partner on the set rent and initial costs, which suddenly changed when the application started which we then decided to cancel due to ridiculous fees and lack of flexibility. Payment was taken for referencing which hadn't begun, I've requested a refund and have been waiting for almost 4 weeks now. I've spoken to the staff who have informed me that their accounts department hadn't actually received a request for refund despite me contacting them 6 times over the past 4 weeks. I've been informed it will take another 10 days. Totally unprofessional, unacceptable standards for working professionals.
I have recently completed my first property purchase through Dixons, and have found the experience to be surprisingly smooth and hassle free. The staff there are always happy to respond to queries and concerns. I was advised to speak to Major (Mazar Singh) with regard to mortgage advice and insurance options, and will happily admit that I was initially sceptical. However, I was pleasantly surprised with the excellent fixed rate mortgage deal that Major was able to offer me, alongside both builldings/contents and income protection too. Furthermore, he was always approachable to discuss any issues and concerns, and would always resolve any queries in a timely manner. I would happily recommend Major to anyone looking to enter the minefield of property purchasing, and have complete confidence that you will receive a first rate service as I did. Thanks again!
DO NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR THE WOLVERHAMPTON BRANCH....
I spoke to Harry first he was arguing with me when i just asked if i could have a more convenient viewing appointment, due to the fact i was already viewing another property in Wolverhampton around about the same time as the earlier appointment he WAS TELLING ME I SHOULD HAVE. I also had explained to him that i DIDN'T no the area of Wolverhampton very well and i didn't want to be late for my other viewing. He then put me on hold for a inordinate amount of time, i ended up then getting cut off. I waited for a while for harry to ring me back but nobody did. Then when i rang back to CHASE harry to see if i could have a appointment i could possibly make on time? Fabio answered and i explained to Fabio (THE ABOVE) . Fabio then told me he couldn't see what point i was making or what my problem was.Then a couple of seconds later Fabio was shouting down the phone at me..." DO NOT CALL ME MATE"..." DO NOT CALL ME MATE"... they are completely unprofessional, extremely rude and by far the worst estate agents i have EVER had the displeasure of coming across in my life, all in all an atrocious customer service experience . DO NOT GO NEAR MY OLD MATE FABIO HA HA OR DIXONS.
Matthew was excellent always in high spirts. I would recommend using them as I've had nothing but a great experience couldn't fault it ????

Highly recommend Worthington Estates. Andy and the family team were very supportive of my mother at a difficult time for her. They were pragmatic and sensitive to her situation, gave solid, well considered advice, and worked very hard to close a sale that was troubled by other parties in the chain. Fantastic team and strongly recommend!

My experiences are wrote as a prospective buyer of one of the properties are presently advertising (Nov 16).
My wife and I placed an offer on the property financial status evidenced by mortgage offer for 96% of the property value and a small 4% from the equity in our home due to come to market. We also had affordability evidence in savings.
The offer we placed we had done so under the recommendation of Andrew proceeding a call he had with my wife stating this would be the amount she would probably take for her home. We toom the plunge and offered after a successful viewing...
On Friday last week we had been told (on three seperate occasions by two people) this offer had been accepted but had terms.
They wouldn't take the house to Sold STC and wanted the right to still market the house and potentially sell to another???
My wife asked Andrew the Director if this was normal he said yes as we had no evidence of affordability?
Confused my wife and I took external advice and had been told that our mortgage offer in principle the equity in our house and savings along with the acceptance of offer was more than enough to make that property sold STC so on Saturday 26th of November we wrote to them advising them of this and that we wanted to retract our offer unless they took the property to sold STC.
Today we had a reply this email advised that we had never been told the offer had been accepted (this is a lie on the agents behalf and evident backtracking reasoning behind it we are looking into.)
So naturally my wife put a call in and spoke to Andrew the Director of the company. He was very rude and abrupt on the call to my wife and insinuated both her and I to the liars evidently back tracking.
Very upset, this got too much and my wife had to terminate the call.
These actions have resulted in a loss of sale for this home owner and i will never recommend this agency to market a property nor purchase one from.
