14th Oct 2026 (16 days ago)Peter and his team sold our property in the UK while we lived in Canada. The team was very responsive and professional. We had a buyer within a month of the property being listed and the deal was completed relatively smoothly.
21st Aug 2026 (10 weeks ago)Terrible agent<br><br>I went to view a house last week. I had no contact from the estate agent to ask me for feedback, so I resorted to submitting an offer by email. I got a receipt saying they had accepted my offer, and that was it nothing more.<br><br>I didn't hear anything for over a week, so I sent a courtesy email to them asking for an update, to which I received an out-of-office notice from the 'senior negotiator' with no sign that my message had been passed on. So I sent my follow-up email to the office instead.<br><br>6 hours later a got a phone call saying they had taken another offer from someone else.<br><br>At no point was I informed of any offers, or the seller's situation and how they will be dealing with offers, which in this process is valuable information.<br><br>In reality, I could improve my offer, had a solicitor ready to act, and a mortgage in place and a deposit, which make me a low-risk buyer.<br><br>I find this lack of communication poor when dealing with people's emotions and money. I understand I lost out to a cash buyer, which is understandable as that is a good position to be in. My frustrations aren't with the seller but the estate agent as this does not account for their poor/lack of communication through the process

Their communication was excellent throughout and we felt supported through the buying process.- 2nd Oct 2026 (28 days ago)Simon Blyth really is a case study in how Estate Agency should be done, everything in our experience was delivered courteously and efficiently during our recent sale through the Kirkburton office and purchase through Penistone, so I can vouch for how great at least two offices are!<br>Grace Wharton was exceptional in dealing with all matters from the original listing process, viewings and then the more taxing aspects of managing the chain for contract exchange and completion. This is what separates a good agent from an exceptional one and Grace certainly earned her stripes with the heavy lifting that was unfortunately much needed with these aspects.<br>I have to mention as well that the professional photography was worth every penny and the quality of the images really showed the property at its best, which I am sure contributed to the massive number of views on Rightmove, the long list of viewings booked for the Bank Holiday weekend as it went live, and ultimately the second viewers offering the asking price. Win, win.

I made an online enquiry on Monday, received a call back on Tuesday, arranged a viewing for Thursday, and by Friday we had paid the holding deposit. The whole process was smooth, efficient, and well organised. We loved the property and were very impressed with how the viewing was conducted.
