23rd Jul 2026 (14 weeks ago)Landlord came to the property with a guy to measure the windows let himself in the garden and stood there watching me through the patio doors which scared me to death. After about 10 mins he introduced himself and was laughing at me for being so scared. He then said “oh I thought you would be at work” so if I had been at work he would have let himself in. The boiler broke in Nov and we were left without heating and hot water for 10 days with a small child as the landlord didn’t trust the engineer that Carla sent out on the same day. Unscrupulous landlord tried to take all the deposit even though the house was cleaner than when we moved in.
19th Aug 2026 (10 weeks ago)I couldn’t recommend Redwoods highly enough after they sold my property in Halifax. From start to finish the whole experience was outstanding. Their communication was excellent they kept me fully in the loop with regular updates and took the time to clearly explain every step of the process so I always knew exactly where things stood. They were genuinely proactive, anticipating issues and keeping everything moving smoothly without me having to chase.<br>What impressed me just as much is how well they look after my rental portfolio. As a landlord, I really value the care they show both me and my tenants. They handle everything professionally and thoughtfully, which gives me complete peace of mind.<br>If you’re selling a property in Halifax or need a reliable team to manage your rentals, Redwoods are the ones to go to. Outstanding service all round.

20th Oct 2026 (10 days ago)Having rented a property managed by Nicholls Tyreman, I can confidently say that our experience with this company has been absolutely appalling.<br>Throughout our tenancy, we experienced repeated maintenance problems, including issues with shutters and blinds, hot water, a fly infestation and the upkeep of the grounds. Getting matters addressed was often a frustrating process involving repeated chasing.<br>Despite these issues, when it came to renewing our tenancy, we were faced with demands for a substantial rent increase and ultimately a Section 21 notice when we could not agree terms.<br>However, the worst part of our experience came when we vacated the property.<br>Having paid a significant deposit, Nicholls Tyreman sought to deduct an astonishing sum for redecoration, woodwork and for flooring.<br>It is remarkable how maintenance issues can be so difficult to resolve during a tenancy, yet when a tenant leaves, thousands of pounds of alleged remedial work suddenly becomes necessary.<br>The entire experience has left us with the impression that the interests of tenants come a very distant second.<br>I would strongly encourage anyone considering renting through Nicholls Tyreman to document absolutely everything, retain every email, photograph the property's condition and be extremely cautious when it comes to their deposit.<br>We have rented properties before and have never experienced anything quite like this.<br>In my opinion, the professionalism, fairness and standard of customer service have been completely unacceptable.<br>I would never use Nicholls Tyreman again and would strongly advise prospective tenants to consider other agents.<br>One star is one too many.

The whole team Jane, Alice and Liz were fantastic, all viewings were accompanied and feedback was immediate and detailed. Particular thanks to Liz for progressing this through to completion for our family. He was always at the end of the phone and so responsive to any emails, texts or calls we would send. We had some issues with our solicitors and Ian supported and guided us through this too. I could not recommend Hunters or Ian more, a lovely company and fab estate agent- I hope everyone has an Ian in their house buying process.

Ive been renting for years and this has by far been the most organised and personable company I’ve dealt with. I would definitely recommend ??????

11th Aug 2026 (11 weeks ago)Extremely poor experience. Belvoir were consistently slow and unresponsive, and the handling of my deposit was particularly disappointing. They waited until the very last day of the deadline to submit their proposed deductions, unnecessarily prolonging the process and leaving me waiting for my own money.<br><br>For a relatively small amount, the amount of chasing and hassle was completely unreasonable. I found the whole process dishonest and unprofessional, and I would not recommend Belvoir to any tenant.

Amber, Hannah and the whole team were excellent throughout the process, they kept us fully informed and their communication was excellent. If we sell another property we will absolutely use Paisleys again and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone (they are also very reasonably priced.)

26th Mar 2026 (7 mo. ago)Shaz was our estate agent for both the purchase of our new house and the sale of our previous house. We cannot recommend him enough. He went above and beyond throughout the whole process. He was incredibly contactable and responded extremely quickly. No question or query was too much for him and he made the whole process as smooth as possible due to his communication. He gave us excellent advice when it came to offer price and also sale price and he helped us negotiate on price when the survey flagged some issues requiring repair. Shaz genuinely cares about both the buyer and vendor in this process, which makes a huge difference compared to other estate agents we have interacted with over the years. If we ever move house again in the future we will be using EweMove again and I will be recommending them and Shaz to anyone else I know planning a move!

From the start, Katie impressed me with her prompt reply to my initial enquiry on a Sunday. She may not have the experience of some of the others I met, but she certainly showed enthusiasm and understood the complexities of selling a holiday cottage. I was able to contact her easily and she kept me fully in the picture. A buyer was found within a month. Highly recommend.
