17th Aug 2026 (28 days ago)Think they over valued the property in the first place, and reducing the price is not a good look. Quite disappointed.
23rd Jul 2026 (8 weeks ago)Landlord came to the property with a guy to measure the windows let himself in the garden and stood there watching me through the patio doors which scared me to death. After about 10 mins he introduced himself and was laughing at me for being so scared. He then said “oh I thought you would be at work” so if I had been at work he would have let himself in. The boiler broke in Nov and we were left without heating and hot water for 10 days with a small child as the landlord didn’t trust the engineer that Carla sent out on the same day. Unscrupulous landlord tried to take all the deposit even though the house was cleaner than when we moved in.

4th Sep 2026 (10 days ago)I used Nicholls Tyreman to sell and buy recently - they were excellent - they arranges lots of viewing and did a really good job of showing people the house. And when it came to dealing with holdups/ issues in the chain - Nikki especially was fantastic! She is exactly who you need to get things moving!
8th Dec 2024 (1 year ago)We had a mixed experience with Preston Baker. We chose them for their reviews online and at first contact with the Doncaster office they were quick to reply and tried moving our sale along promptly. Then our agent suddenly stopped communicating and when we tried contacting them we found out she had left but no one informed us. This happened a couple of times. Our house was eventually assigned to Terry Burrows (Leeds office) and she was good to us. She took care of our sale for almost a year until the end, even after two potential buyers dropped off and issues with the house made our sale more complicated. Sadly by then the market had changed and we weren’t able to sell for the value we had hoped for. Not sure if I would recommend the Doncaster office. I would recommend Terry for sure. (Terry, if you are reading this thank you for persevering with us and for helping us get a decent price in a difficult selling process)

She went above and beyond in what was a very difficult situation, always taking the time to offer advice, keep us updated, and fight our corner whenever she could.<br><br>Her communication was outstanding from start to finish. Even though she's clearly a very busy lady, she always made time for us and was only ever a phone call or email away. Her kindness, professionalism, and genuine willingness to help meant so much to me and my family during such a challenging time.<br><br>I honestly can't praise Elisha enough for all of her hard work, dedication, and support. She is a real credit to W H Brown, and I cannot thank her enough for everything she has done for us. If you're buying or selling a property they are all great but I would highly recommend asking for Elisha – she's absolutely fantastic.

He was always at the end of the phone and so responsive to any emails, texts or calls we would send. We had some issues with our solicitors and Ian supported and guided us through this too. I could not recommend Hunters or Ian more, a lovely company and fab estate agent- I hope everyone has an Ian in their house buying process.

There were some significant challenges involved as we both live quite far away and therefore couldn’t regularly visit both the agent and the property. From the outset, the advice, communication and support we received from the Northwood team was exceptional. As the property was newly renovated at a considerable cost, they also arranged regular house visits (at a very reasonable cost), to both comply with our insurance policy and give us peace of mind that all was in order. We completed on the property today, and would like to offer our sincerest thanks to the whole team at Northwood Hatfield for their professionalism, dedication and patience. 26th Mar 2026 (25 weeks ago)Shaz was our estate agent for both the purchase of our new house and the sale of our previous house. We cannot recommend him enough. He went above and beyond throughout the whole process. He was incredibly contactable and responded extremely quickly. No question or query was too much for him and he made the whole process as smooth as possible due to his communication. He gave us excellent advice when it came to offer price and also sale price and he helped us negotiate on price when the survey flagged some issues requiring repair. Shaz genuinely cares about both the buyer and vendor in this process, which makes a huge difference compared to other estate agents we have interacted with over the years. If we ever move house again in the future we will be using EweMove again and I will be recommending them and Shaz to anyone else I know planning a move!
