Responsive and friendly staff with a professional demeanor. However the property I looked at yesterday was very far from satisfactory. It looked great in the advert pictures and description. So I travelled all the way from Warwick joining my son in Birmingham spending the whole day (9 hours ultimately) in the rain just to look at this travesty. Things wrong with that house. Artex ceilings, generally tasteless decor, bathroom needed redoing and the kitchen. Network installation boasted about in the advert was just a load of unfinished wires, PV solar batteries just strewn all over the garage floor. No racking, no controller. Basically the whole house needed gutting and replastering. Dodgy unfinished bare brick laundry extension. This property should've been advertised as a fixer upper at best. This is the sort of thing that gives estate agents a bad reputation

I called today to arrange a viewing for a property and was very disappointed by the way I was treated. The person who answered the phone was extremely rude and unprofessional throughout the conversation.
He asked who my current landlord was and which estate agency I had previously rented through. When I told him I had rented through Samuel Estates, he responded by saying he had never heard of them in a dismissive and disrespectful manner. From that point on, his attitude was unnecessarily rude and made me feel unwelcome.
I was simply trying to enquire about a property viewing and expected to be treated with basic courtesy and respect. Customer service is an important part of any estate agency, and unfortunately my experience was very poor. Based on this interaction, I would not recommend dealing with this agency.
