I’ve been working with Raji at Pattison lane for over 2 years. I highly recommend her, she’s knowledgeable, gets things done, always responsive and nothing is too much. Anything you need as a landlord I’d recommend Raji at Pattison lane

If you've always dreamed of being an estate agent yourself, then go with connells. They'll gladly make you do all the work and charge you for the privilege. In between trying to swindle us to use their zero deposit scheme, conveniently owned by the same parent company, and seemingly always being "out on viewings" I wonder how they find the time to reply to our emails after the the 4th time of asking. Landlords for the love of god just use openrent instead and save yourself £££.

Appalling handling of tenancy deposit — avoid
We vacated our property at Masters Court, Harrow on 30 January 2026 in good condition, and over a month later we have still not received our deposit back. The handling of this entire process by Connells has been deeply disappointing.
Despite sending multiple emails and attempting to call numerous times, we have received nothing but vague responses saying they are "still liaising with the former landlord." No clear timeline, no transparency, and no accountability. Phone calls have gone unanswered, and no direct contact number has been provided despite requests.
The items flagged in the checkout report are standard fair wear and tear under TDS guidelines — minor wall marks, limescale build-up typical of Harrow's hard water, None of these justify withholding our deposit.
To make matters worse, wife is 24 weeks pregnant, and the unnecessary financial stress caused by this prolonged delay has had a real impact on her mental health and wellbeing. This is completely unacceptable.
We have now raised a formal dispute through the tenancy deposit scheme, which should never have been necessary. We have never experienced such poor deposit handling with any previous letting agency.
If you are a prospective tenant — be warned. We would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Had a really good experience with Connells Lettings Watford. The team was helpful, professional, and supportive throughout the whole process. They made moving into my new home much easier and less stressful. I really appreciate all their help and would gladly recommend the lettings team.

The worst letting agency out there. Getting them to support the tenant with anything is like pulling teeth. We’ve been asking and filing requests for over 4 months to have Connells send one to take a look at our kitchen sink, and it still hasn’t happened. They keep passing blame around to building maintenance, to the landlord, but never actually taking any action to support the tenant. On top of that, the communication comes whenever Connells feels like it. They set response timelines which are rarely adhered to and even when they do communicate, it’s nothing of substance.
Avoid at all costs!

Mark and the team at the Redhill branch have been second to none. A quick sale, during a quiet period and found us and negotiated on our onward purchase, with ease and professionalism. The process has been long, due to unforeseen circumstances, but the team at Redhill have always been on hand, in and outside of working days, above and beyond. The entire team are a credit to Mark and would absolutely recommend to any body considering selling and buying in the local area. Thank you!
