I had a very disappointing experience selling my house through Dixons.
Throughout the process, Lee was often rude whenever I spoke with him, and his attitude made me feel uncomfortable and disrespected. Eventually, I told the company that I no longer wanted any communication with him, and things improved after that.
I paid around £2,400 to sell my house and was told that this would cover the service. My solicitor was given the same understanding. Very little work appeared to go into the sale. No photos were taken of my property, and as far as I am aware, no marketing was carried out on my behalf.
After the sale completed, and around a month after I had already provided statements and the requested paperwork, I was unexpectedly told that I owed an additional £118. This had never been made clear to me during the sale process. The company continued to email me demanding payment and eventually passed the matter to debt collectors.
At the time, I was busy renovating my property and did not always have the opportunity to call or deal with additional correspondence, which made the situation even more stressful.
Overall, I found the service poor, communication unprofessional, and the additional charge unexpected. Based on my experience, I would not use this company again.... Read more
