Shambles of a company. Cohesion and desperation to move us into a property with black mould and damage throughout. False advertisement on RIGHTMOVE and refused to refund us as we signed the tenancy before seeing the property (went off pictures on rightmove where no black mould could be seen) landlord took our 1.6k so she can ‘fix the property’ in order to get new tenants in. They seem to think painting over black mould is how you fix it.

Can’t speak highly enough of the team at Brigfords who I have dealt with both personally and professionally and have always found to be the best. They know their stuff and really drive transactions through but combine that with care and kindness which sets them apart from their competitors. Particular mention for Emma, who was absolutely brilliant helping me with a recent personal transaction; I simply couldn’t have done it without her.

A dire experience with the attempt to purchase our first home through Bridgfords Hazel Grove. What should have been a moment of joy and excitement has turned into one of anguish and extreme stress.
We made an offer to the house seller at the asking price, which was accepted. However, the bank set to finance our mortgage valued the property £25,000 below the agreed amount. When we returned to the estate agency to report this, the problems began.
The agency started pressuring us to come to their office and sign up for their mortgage service, insisting it was the only way to communicate the down valuation to the seller. They demanded the house valuation report, despite knowing that banks, during the mortgage application process, do not provide a detailed valuation report. The only document provided by the bank to our mortgage advisor, containing the down valuation, was sent to Bridgfords consultants, who refused to accept it or forward it to the homeowner. We endured weeks of stress, feeling compelled to visit the estate agency to sign up for Bridgfords' services, even though we already had a mortgage advisor and conveyancer.
Yesterday, we were informed that unless we provide a detailed valuation report of the house, it will be returned to the market, and we will be withdrawn from the negotiation. Our mortgage advisor explained repeatedly that banks do not provide such reports. It's astonishing that an agency the size of Bridgfords is unaware of the mortgage application process.
Throughout the past week, we were coerced and blackmailed by Bridgfords, who continuously insisted they would only pass on the undervaluation if we visited their office.
In addition to these distressing and humiliating weeks, we will suffer financial losses because our conveyancer had already initiated the process.

My experience of this estate agents wasn't the best, I was trying to purchase a house and even though my offer was accepted they still did viewings on said property and thus i lost the property in the end, all in all a very stressful experience also jack (the manager) was unpleasant to deal with. Wouldn't recommend this business, just look at trustpilot.

Good communication from.the Bridgeford team (stockport precinct) lovely /friendly.
Numerous problems with the exchange and actually moving extremely complicated. Very stressful for me. Ruari however worked tirelessly.updating me and liaising with buyer /his solicitor. Constantly giving me reassurance. A big thank you to him.what a stressful job.

Very poor service, unprofessional and poor account management and advice. There aligned with Countrywide conveyancing and that just exacerbates and already atrocious service.

I am delighted with the warm welcome I receive upon entering the Stokesley Branch of Bridgfords. Rachel Martin is my contact and the service I receive from her is first class. Nothing is too much trouble nd whatever task I ask her to deal with, the attention to detail and quickness of response is excellent.
Before retirement I was responsible for the training & personnel arrangements of 2,300 staff, so I know what I am talking about.
Rachel Martin has the ability to ensure prospective clients, whether buying or selling, are 'put at ease' and quickly realise that they are going to receive excellent service. She is a valuable asset to Bridgfords, and not someone who could be easily replaced. Well worth ensuring her career path is positive, not only for her benefit but also that of Bridgfords.
