I was extremely fortunate to have Kate Hand ( Connells in Horsham) as the letting agent. Just excellent from start to finish and I’m still receiving emails checking that everything is going well.
I was going through a very challenging time , but Kate was very patient and provided advice and support at every stage. This is my first renting experience and I feel extremely lucky that I was guided through this by Kate. Exceptionally positive experience.

I’ve been wanting to write this for a while but didn’t have the words. We moved into our property around 2.5 years ago which was sold to us via Connells in Shaftesbury. The mortage advisor Millie was brilliant, however as first time buyers I feel like the team really played on that. We had arranged to get a survey done of the house we intended to buy and one of the agents called us up to pressure us into not doing one as the buyers wanted to move. Telling us that because the “bank had agreed with the price of the house there was no need”. I now know this was a lie, the house has had issue after issue. From electrics and piping that isn’t up to standard and would of been flagged. Purposely hiding cut out carpet with furniture and so much more like hiding mould. I’m not sure if you record your phone calls but as a classified vulnerable customer I feel incredibly let down. We will probably never be able to move from this house because we can’t afford the costs. So if they try to convince you to not get a survey by claiming the bank agreeing to the amount is the same thing, please ignore them. It’s taken me so long to write this because I’ve been embarrassed but I also know they preyed on us being young and me being autistic and ‘guilible’.

Roberts Adams had the pleasure if showing us a few properties. He was very friendly. We appreciated his knowledge about the area and homes we where shown. We found the perfrct detached property in a quiet spot located in East Grinstead. Cailean Burns managed the sale and was very supportive and prompt with coming back to our enquiries especially with the vendor. Thank you so much Cailean. Appreciated your professionalism. Highly recommend using Connels to find your next property.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from this estate agency.<br><br>Firstly, the lady who was supposed to show us the property arrived 20 minutes late, which was completely unprofessional and showed a lack of respect for our time.<br><br>To make matters worse, there was no lighting in the property, meaning we could barely see anything during the viewing. We were expected to look around the house using a phone flashlight, which is absolutely ridiculous! How can anyone properly view a property or make an informed decision about buying a house when they cannot even see it?<br><br>This is something the agency should have checked and sorted out before arranging viewings. It is their responsibility to ensure that potential buyers can actually see the property they are being shown.<br><br>On top of that, when we asked the agent basic questions about the property, she couldn’t answer them and appeared to know very little about the house she was showing us.<br><br>Overall, the entire experience was a complete waste of our time and very disappointing. I would expect much better standards from a professional estate agency.
