From the initial viewing of a flat I was interested in to finally picking up the keys on completion.I received the friendliest and most helpful service from Hunters in Scarborough. I dealt with various members of the branch who were all extremely patient and courteous. I heartily recommend them.

I had an amazing experience with Hunters from start to finish.<br><br>Alex carried out the valuation, and Matteo and Saphira were fantastic throughout the sales and conveyancing process. Buying a house can be very stressful especially when the issues that arise are avoidable. It’s taken 8 months to purchase a house with no chain.<br>If it hadn’t have been for the hard work and supportive nature of hunters and all the staff at the Scarborough office I’m sure we would still be waiting.<br>They truly went above and beyond to help us with the sale. We would highly recommend them in the future.

Waste of time. They advertised a property on the 6th floor but hid the fact that the building has no lift.

Had our property valued at 115k last October, thankfully we went with another estate agent that valued (January) and sold for an extra 44k in March, that is a huge difference that allowed us to get a much better family home. How there was such a difference in market value I do not know.

Having approached 3 estate agents to value the property I was most impressed by the work undertaken from the outset by Steven Goff.
Although not the cheapest in terms of commission they seemed more professional than the competition.
Since placing the business in their hands I have been extremely impressed by their work in relation to organising everything such as viewings and marketing and updating me at every stage. I have been most appreciative of the work undertaken by the whole team and in particular Lauren.

We experienced ongoing issues with repairs not being addressed (a bathroom light remained broken for several months after a leak). We were also asked to conduct viewings ourselves before moving out, which we did not feel was our responsibility.
On moving in, there were also cleanliness issues, including mould in the washing machine drawer and cupboards left full of cleaning products from previous occupancy. We later found these same items referenced when deductions from our deposit were discussed, which was frustrating.
Overall, prospective tenants may wish to ensure maintenance expectations and check-in inventories are clearly documented before signing.
