The current housing market is in a tricky situation with the on-going Middle-East war and with uncertain economic future, resulting in becoming a Buyers' housing market. Under the circumstance it was difficult to value or to determining reasonable or realistic Asking price. After some trial and error, the correct asking price, though below the current market price, was established. Having bought the house some twenty-five years earlier, it wasn't all that difficult for the reduction of asking price. Throughout the process, Winkworth communication and advising efforts were efficiently performed. Perhaps, the Selling Estate Agents are also in the re-learning process of the current market situation. It is likely that any sellers who have bought recently, say within five-six years earlier would have difficulties in recovering the original cost price!

I used Winkworth's services to find a tenant (advertise, do viewings, background checks and inventory etc). The team were extremely quick off the mark, easy and very pleasant to work with and the model of efficiency. Particular call-outs to Mandy and Victoria who were a breeze to work with. Awful experience with sales. I found my sales agent unhelpful, vindictive, and overall ineffective. Despite all of the initial promises, shortly after I signed the contract, she suddenly had no faith in her own valuation and confidence that she could sell the property and the communication fell off a cliff. I received no detailed feedback following several viewings until I said I was moving to another agent (at which point she suddenly and immediately responded saying she had been ill however, the communication was poor both before and after this). The one offer received was negotiated by Castles out of pity for my situation (and without seeking a fee) and it was Castles that kept me usefully updated although Winkworth would receive the fee since the buyer approached Winkworth. I regret the time I lost with this agent. Hopefully there wil be some self reflection from this branch rather than disputing everything I say and attempting to discredit me (as I expect from my experience), although having moved on, I won't read their response.

Lovely people to have show you around houses.<br>A big special shout out to millie not once did she turn up fed up thinking here we go again.<br>she turned up at every property with a smile and we eventually found the right place for us finally.<br>All the extra work chasing solicitors and getting the sale through quick was a added bonus.<br>thank you so much millie<br>We found a property our sofa fits and more than enough outside space for the doggies.<br>I would definitely recommend using winkworths bourne for buying a property.<br>They were all very professional<br>We love are new home as do the doggies<br>So thank you very much<br>Jen and matt

Winkworth made buying a property in Suffolk really easy. From our first visit they were welcoming and nothing was too much trouble - even a viewing at short notice. Communication has been faultless, in particular, Jade has dealt with every query cheerfully and efficiently liaising between buyer and vendor and keeping us up to date throughout ther process.

If you are university student I would avoid at all costs!!! These are the worst set of people ever. They are greedy and selfish. They breached their own contract for students by letting people who weren’t students move into the same building as us which lead to homeless people constantly breaking in then kicked us out and moved us to half done accommodation. The accommodation had no WiFi for 8 MONTHS. When we initially moved in half of the stuff weren’t working and we had to find away to make it work ourselves. I had to live in room with mould growing despite me raising it to the agents multiple times and was told to just ‘open my window’??? Only when I had threaten to take it further is when someone came out to look. After them putting us through all of this, we were then charged for small things like having dust in our rooms or leaving things that were initially given to us in the room. The company and agents are greedy and don’t care about anything but money and themselves. Save yourself the trouble and DO NOT rent with them for ANY STUDENT ACCOMMODATION!!!!!
