The staff have been amazing and have gone over and beyond to make sure the transaction has gone as smoothly as possible. Bindy the manager who I met in person to submit my offer with has been very professional throughout the purchase. Ethan was present whilst I viewed the property and he was very knowledgeable and patient. Manisha arranged the mortgage very swiftly, her communication was superb and responded to any questions I had promptly. She was always happy to help and her experience gave me the confidence that she will get me the best mortgage deal available. Specifically, Joshua Cleveland, my property manager, has been overseeing a repair at my property for more than a month. He has consistently kept us informed with detailed updates and promptly responded to queries from both myself and the tenants, alleviating any concerns. Joshua is an outstanding manager whom I highly recommend.

He has really eased a lot of stresses that comes with finding/renting a property, has communicated with us every step of the way and listened to every query we had. To put into perspective, Me and my Partner had viewed a property on the Thursday and by the following Wednesday, we were able to pick up the keys to our rental property. We could not have asked for a better person to help us! Thank you so much for everything!

Dan, Brendan, Rita, Shiv all helped with the process and achieved the desired goal. A special thank you to Shiv for all the hard work , he is truly an asset to the company. 2nd May 2024 (12 weeks ago)Throughout my lifetime, I've never encountered individuals as unprofessional and deceitful as those associated with this company, particularly an agent named Luke. Initially, they assured me that my wage was sufficient for the desired apartment, but after I provided the deposit, they began avoiding my calls, imposing unexpected requirements, and threatening to withhold my deposit despite providing inaccurate information. This ordeal left me feeling deeply distressed and anxious, to the point of tears. Luke's actions were not only misleading and dishonest but also malicious. The entire experience has engendered a profound sense of disappointment and resentment towards both him and the company.

Set up 8 viewings, so I had the choice of tenants and was given great feedback. The photos and marketing video presented the property in its best possible light. A friendly, professional, organised team. Questions and information communicated promptly and effectively.

18th Mar 2024 (19 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Usually they don’t answer the phone/reply to emails but this week they have failed to show up for viewings twice (cancelling via email 40 minutes before). We are going to contact the seller directly. Do not sell your house with this agency, we are finding it impossible to even view never mind buy anything, house has been on the market for a long time now, reason being OPA won’t show it to anyone! No response via email or phone. Email attached was a cancellation when we were already there, didn’t show up the next day either.

5th Jul 2024 (22 days ago)BE VERY CAREFUL!!! Once these lot have your deposit they ignore you. We agreed to buy a buy to let from these and went through the mortgage application with our own agent. We then found out they had overvalued thr property by a fair amount, not allowing us to get a mortgage. We were then told we had to use their mortgage person, which cost us another £300 but we had no option. They also could not get us a mortgage because the value was less than 50k. Upon telling these lot, they are now ignoring our calls, you can't speak to the refund team as only on email, no managers have phones and they won't give us our deposit back even though it states we are entitled to it back for following their stipulations. I'm no being ignored by the salesman Jack and no one will return emails etc. I will be taking this to the Ombudsman too, to highlight this appalling service and blatant overvalued to gain mortgage applicants. They had the same listing on their site for £52,500 and £46,000. We found this after we had agreed a price. So be very careful not to deal with these people. They are rude and have total lack of customer service once they have your deposit. Zero stars from me!!!
