9th Mar 2025 (7 weeks ago)After a bad experience with my first estate agents I was sceptical with another one, however Connells have been nothing but professional, communicative and friendly. Helping me every step of the way. Can’t praise them enough.
8th Nov 2024 (24 weeks ago)They don’t do as promised. I had my property on full management by them where they said they’d provide me an update of the property on a certain months interval. They never sent me any written nor photo/video updates as stated. I sent them numerous emails asking why the reports was not sent to me but there was no any counter reply to any of my emails. I then CCd the emails to the branch manager too! Still no reply to any of my emails. This is only one example of their deed. There are others too!!! I’d never ever recommend any of my fiends and families to give them a management of their property to Connells. Since I’ve spread these news some of my friends have already decided to leave them. One of my friend also stated the same problem with the Connells. To whoever is reading this, my advice to you is don’t pay to manage your property with them. You’ll regret it badly.

27th Oct 2023 (1 year ago)The sale was via IamSold - partnered locally with Wards who handled the viewings. Overall the experience was poor. Staff showing my property had never visited without prospective purchasers and therefore gave a false impression (unable to lock doors because the sequence was incorrect, leading buyers to assume poor maintenance etc). People being shown around were not able to afford the valuation, only my absolute bottom line, which led to very low offers, nowhere near the valuation. I was promised a guaranteed sale with IamSold, which is not the case

26th May 2022 (2 years ago)The unique service offered by Griffin has enabled me to complete a DIY sale of my home on the Internet using national property sale platforms as if I was the website. I listed my property at 8am and by 9.30am on the same day I was receiving emails from potential purchaser's. I well know the power of the Internet, but even I was surprised by the speed of it all. The Griffin team have the power to listen and assist you, I wish to thank the person at Griffin who originated this professional service and his team for doing a great job. If I ever need to sell a home in future I will immediately use the Griffin service and have been recommending them to family and friends. Thank you.

24th Mar 2025 (4 weeks ago)Nested was the best choice I could have made considering the difficult market at the time. My agent Ben really went above and beyond for what turned out to be a difficult conveyancing experience but we got there in the end! I would definitely recommend Nested for a bespoke service you don’t get elsewhere.

18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
