3rd Apr 2024 (24 days ago)Moving in to a clean, hygienic property is standard. But clearly not in this case. The flat had been cleared of furniture, but not cleaned. Some of the dirt was a direct threat to health ie. Black mould. I documented this the day I moved in, sent photos to this agency and requested cleaning from the landlord,as long as it wasn't taken from my deposit. Now my tenancy has ended and they are trying to withold over £180 from my despoit for "cleaning" despite I left the flat in a spotless condition. The landlord (who wishes their identity to remain secret, I wonder why?) clearly trying to negate their responsibilities and save cash. Parasitic. I left the property spotless, however when I moved in it was a state. Would you accept this as the state of a property when you move in. Black mould, heavy dust, extractor fans clogged with grease and a filthy oven? Do better.
4th Feb 2023 (1 year ago)Richard James and the whole team at Rager & Roberts were always professional and kept me updated throughout the whole sales process. Any estate agent can list your property for sale on Rightmove etc. and attend viewings but it was from the sale negotiation process to completion where Rager & Roberts really excelled.

9th Apr 2024 (18 days ago)We were approached by Aimee from Connells after our house had been on the market for a few months with another agent. From the off she was a complete professional, empathetic, personable and clearly passionate about her job. After deciding to change and use Connells we have found the whole team to be charming, helpful and organised. I had given birth during the months the house was on sale and whilst at home recovering the team were always so respectful and friendly. Josh in particular was fantastic and always made viewings a breeze. When the sale of the house was going through Tracey was outstanding in her communication and really helped with any issues that came up with the solicitors. She was always up to date with what was going on and we never felt like we were chasing for information in what is the most stressful point of selling. The whole team though have honestly been great and anyone else we met along the way have known all the information they needed and have been thorough, warm and approachable. I really felt like they worked so hard to sell our house in what is a really difficult time in the current climate. I am so glad we decided to use Connells to sell our house as the whole process has been so easy and smooth and would not hesitate to use them again in the future or recommend them to others. Its a ten out of ten from us!

27th Oct 2023 (5 mo. ago)The sale was via IamSold - partnered locally with Wards who handled the viewings. Overall the experience was poor. Staff showing my property had never visited without prospective purchasers and therefore gave a false impression (unable to lock doors because the sequence was incorrect, leading buyers to assume poor maintenance etc). People being shown around were not able to afford the valuation, only my absolute bottom line, which led to very low offers, nowhere near the valuation. I was promised a guaranteed sale with IamSold, which is not the case

I feel VERY let down with the overall experience with you. And to make it clear you did NOT sell my property I took it off the market with you due to everything listed above!
18th Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

17th Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)From the first phone call to ask Jonathan to come round and tell me what I needed to do to sell my home, to the last to say we had completed John and Jonathan could not have done more to get the property sold. I was treated with respect and kindness. Unfortunately for me my sale fell through twice before I got my final buyer. Despite the market being very tough John and Johnathan managed both times to get me sold again within 24 hours. I cannot recommend these two guys enough. If I could give 6 stars I would.
