3rd Sep 2024 (9 days ago)Avoid Started off with a brilliant agent who moved to another office and was unfortunately replaced by Elouisa who does not reply to emails or return phone calls . Have been calling and emailing trying to sort out a simple viewing and Elouisa Coe cannot be bothered to reply . It’s coming up to a week now with zero luck Really unprofessional if we experienced this from the start we never would have bothered to pursue the sale If you are a seller and want your buyers to be ignored and fed up then pick this agent I

11th Jul 2024 (9 weeks ago)From beginning till end the Carter King estate agency was just perfect. Kristie Gray kept me all that time updated and the house was sold for my opinion faster than I'd expect. 5 stars. I guess they are one of the best in Rugby area if not really the best.
28th Aug 2024 (15 days ago)We have just found a letter with Shipways. Euan Marshall was great; he responded quickly and helped us resolve any issues quickly. We needed to move on a tight schedule with several contingencies and he went above and beyond to make that happen.

18th Dec 2021 (2 years ago)INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS BEWARE! This agency is atrocious towards tenants, especially international students because they know they can get away with it. They'll bug you when they want your money but will ghost you and keep you guessing until you pester them when you need their help. They're unnecessarily strict to the point of troubling everyone, even themselves. My landlord wanted to charge us £400+ just for overgrown grass and they blindly sided with the landlord, despite market price of grass cutting being around £100 - £200 max. Had to go through so many hoops and many months of dispute just to get our deposit back. Would give them a lower rating if I could.

18th Mar 2024 (25 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

However these guys came out on top with contact, knowing what I was looking for and showing me amazing properties to my tastes. Definitely would recommend Carolyn and Carter as they were the best in what they did and I was registered with a few but these guys ave you the personal touch, that you mattered. Loved and would highly recommend.

Jack constantly put value on the positives of our home and was very efficient at handling the viewers negatives. Refreshing!

Matt Ovenden and Matt Mullane were really attentive and supportive throughout the whole process, always there to answer our questions and guide us through each step. We felt really taken care of, and their proactive approach made everything so much easier. If you’re looking for an estate agent who truly cares and goes the extra mile, we highly recommend Avocado, they were amazing!

5th Jul 2024 (10 weeks ago)BE VERY CAREFUL!!! Once these lot have your deposit they ignore you. We agreed to buy a buy to let from these and went through the mortgage application with our own agent. We then found out they had overvalued thr property by a fair amount, not allowing us to get a mortgage. We were then told we had to use their mortgage person, which cost us another £300 but we had no option. They also could not get us a mortgage because the value was less than 50k. Upon telling these lot, they are now ignoring our calls, you can't speak to the refund team as only on email, no managers have phones and they won't give us our deposit back even though it states we are entitled to it back for following their stipulations. I'm no being ignored by the salesman Jack and no one will return emails etc. I will be taking this to the Ombudsman too, to highlight this appalling service and blatant overvalued to gain mortgage applicants. They had the same listing on their site for £52,500 and £46,000. We found this after we had agreed a price. So be very careful not to deal with these people. They are rude and have total lack of customer service once they have your deposit. Zero stars from me!!!
