8th Aug 2024 (6 weeks ago)Leaders in general have been the best lettings agency I’ve dealt with in Derby, but I’d specifically like to talk about my experience with Leah Bostock. I have been going through an extremely difficult time recently, being faced with stress from every possible angle including that of having to leave my property and move to another city. Without going into detail, Leah has been an absolute rock in guiding me through this difficult process and showed so much support and kindness that you would never expect from a stranger. She’s been so patient and understanding, took it upon herself to take care of all the bureaucracy side of things on my behalf and offered warmth and support through every step of the way. I know that to her I might be just another tenant, but to me she will always be a Good Samaritan who helped me through a really difficult time and I really wish more people (and agents) were like this. Thank you so much Leah! ( and Leaders, this lady deserves a raise!).
24th Jul 2024 (8 weeks ago)Great service. Went to Craig for mortgage advice, and we cannot recommend him enough. As first time buyers we went for a consultation, we were quite hesitant beforehand but after speaking to Craig, we were put at ease. He was very knowledgeable and put in a lot of time and effort to help us. Had few issues in the process (none from Burchel Edwards) but we were able to sort these out quickly thanks to our mortgage advisor. Absolutely superb.
26th Aug 2024 (21 days ago)FHP recently sold our property and did a great job in securing a good offer in a short space of time. The team were quick to respond on queries and updates and did a good job in keeping all parties in the chain focused on achieving completion in the desired timeframe.
3rd Sep 2024 (13 days ago)We lost 31000 by using the modern auction method, on their original valuation. The modern auction in England, unlike Scotland work ps in reverse. Do not be persuaded into using this method. They seem to favour getting the lowest price for the buyer, as opposed to maximising money for the seller. As we live remote from the property, we entrusted their expertise, and professionalism, to look after the property in our absence . However, on visiting the property for insurance purposes, we found the toilet had been broken, it was full of excrement, and stale urine, there was damage to model boats that had been left, and a Leatherman tool that had been left was missing. When a complaint was made the Ilkeston branch manager. Her excuse was. “One of your neighbours, must have come in and used the facilities, and taken the opportunity to remove the tool“. I hope I never have to use Rightmove again. Either to buy, or sell- 28th Aug 2024 (19 days ago)Ella Green's support throughout the entire process of renting our new home has been truly outstanding. From our first interaction, she was incredibly friendly and professional, with clear and consistent communication, as well as being really responsive to my calls and emails. We are delighted with our new home and couldn't have asked for a better experience with Burchell Edwards. Thank you once again for all your hard work and for going above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly!

15th Aug 2024 (5 weeks ago)We were first time buyers and purchased our first home with William H Brown. Our main point of contact was Lily who was friendly and helpful. We didn’t have the easiest journey with our solicitors and Lily was great at helping us chase up outstanding issues, I really think the sale could have fell through without her help liaising between us/the seller/the solicitors. I would definitely recommend William H Brown, our calls were always answered or messages passed on leading to quick call backs, thank you to Jared and Amelia for your support on this also! You are a welcoming and friendly team and we appreciate the support you provided :)

Never had a courtesy call from them asking if we were happy and worst of all at the end they never if asked why we were taking it off the market….! Nothing whatsoever it was almost like it wasn’t on the market at all …

Our house move was a long drawn out process with alot of bumps along the way and a horrendous 3 day completion. After receiving zero help and guidance from my estate agent, elders really went above and beyond not only supporting their own client but myself and my partner also. 27th Aug 2024 (20 days ago)Although staff were pleasant at all times, the management service was not good. There were costly errors during the tenancy, communication wasn't great either. We have received an apology for these. We are grateful to the agency for finding new tenants, but in light of our experience, have decided to manage the property ourselves
