5th Mar 2026 (27 days ago)Georgia at BRH has been nothing short of excellent! Georgia was very friendly during our viewing of the property and answered all of our questions, even answered some before we had chance to ask, this just shows how intuitive Georgia is. Since the viewing which was Monday, two days later we had a tenancy agreement to sign and everything ready paperwork-wise for a move on the following Friday! Any questions we have had Georgia has promptly responded within the hour and in the one case she hadn't, she rang to apologise even though it was only a few hours later! Overall the experience during this whole process has been perfect and could not wish for a better person to handle it all for us!

No hesitation in recommending Fisher German.

James was particularly great - really responsive and helpful. Viewings were arranged easily and once the sale was agreed, it all went smoothly thanks to the team.

5th Mar 2026 (27 days ago)So disappointed in this company! Not following legal guidelines, a lady is selling her house through this company and this lady is buying my mums through this same company! My mums sale is taking months due to the purposeful delays of the sale of her house so delaying ours! This is costing us more money I want to remove mums house to another estate agent! Now told we can’t speak to the estate agent! Yet again another illegal move I will be taking further action I want mums house back

They’ve made it so simple and reassuring for us as first time buyers. Sarah and Kirsty were there every step of the way, answered questions to anything we asked, guided us when we needed help and did everything to make us happy. We could not of had a better first time buying experience all from this team. We have Sarah and Kirsty to thank for it all. We would definitely recommend William H Brown to anyone looking to buy a home.
8th Dec 2024 (1 year ago)We had a mixed experience with Preston Baker. We chose them for their reviews online and at first contact with the Doncaster office they were quick to reply and tried moving our sale along promptly. Then our agent suddenly stopped communicating and when we tried contacting them we found out she had left but no one informed us. This happened a couple of times. Our house was eventually assigned to Terry Burrows (Leeds office) and she was good to us. She took care of our sale for almost a year until the end, even after two potential buyers dropped off and issues with the house made our sale more complicated. Sadly by then the market had changed and we weren’t able to sell for the value we had hoped for. Not sure if I would recommend the Doncaster office. I would recommend Terry for sure. (Terry, if you are reading this thank you for persevering with us and for helping us get a decent price in a difficult selling process)

Most importantly, they helped me deal with all the communication with the solicitor, so I didn’t have to worry about anything. I would definitely choose them again as my estate agent in the future.

9th Mar 2026 (23 days ago)A speedy and professional job by Rod, Aaron and all the staff I dealt with Alexander Jacob. I'll try to keep this short; I had a small property for sale in Retford which had been rented for a while with another estate agent in town and I asked what they thought I could get on a sale and after an extensive discussion they suggested it be marketed at £80k and wouldn't budge on it. I was never going to accept this and a third party(thank you Shane!) suggested I speak with Rod, he told me £100k would be easily achievable and indicated a little work be done, which came to less than £1k and was arranged by AJ, and I sold for £110k. I'm not suggesting that this will be everyone's experience but Alexander Jacob clearly have a far, far better grip on how the local market is trending than some other estate agents in town.

11th Mar 2026 (21 days ago)Had the unfortunate experience of having to deal with my deceased mums house. McArthur is a local agent, and I believe in using local businesses, so I contacted them regarding selling the property. A decision I was happy with. No silly staggered fees or additional costs depending on how long on the market. A straight forward set fee plus VAT, perfect! From the initial visit to completion they have been great and the house went under offer in less than a fortnight. couple of communication hiccups early doors hut nothing major. Definitely recommend using.
28th Mar 2026 (4 days ago)I was purchasing a property through Paul Fox and throughout the entire process, including both solicitors failing to communicate and progress, Sharna at Paul Fox was the only one who was proactive, communicative, helpful, and supportive. Getting both of the solicitors to actually communicate properly was like watching two Roombas attempt to knife fight, and Sharna honestly kept me sane. If I decide to sell in the future I'll be using Paul Fox without a doubt.
