11th Apr 2024 (15 weeks ago)Martin was absolutely brilliant from start to finish of our house sale. He consistently went above and beyond to chase the buyer and her solicitor and kept us in the loop throughout the process. It was a real pleasure working with him and we really recommend Fyfe Mcdade.
22nd Apr 2024 (14 weeks ago)We have had awful experiences with HBD’s maintenance of the flat which we rent. HBD manage the property and have left us without hot water and heating for 6 days and counting. They have not proposed any solution for the total lack of hot water and have ignored repeated requests for alternative temporary accommodation and a rent refund for the period. It feels like the property manager lacks any empathy for us as they seems to have to no qualms with leaving a pregnant woman in a house indefinitely without hot water or proper heating. Their attitude seems to be that it’s not their problem if parts need to be ordered and that the tenants are expected to live in horrific conditions while paying full rent. It’s truly shocking.
28th Mar 2024 (17 weeks ago)Matthew Stacy was the seller's agent in my recent purchase. Matthew's client is quite dis-organised (e.g. misplacing the keys for the flat on sale), but Matthew dealt with this with a sense of humor, eventually recovering the keys. During the transaction stage, for a while, my solicitor was acting quite slowly. I was able to get hold of lender's inquiries, and saw that one of the items was an electricity certificate. I figured that rather than waiting for my solicitor to talk to the seller's solicitor, I should just ask Matthew. He got the certificate for me the next day, and my solicitor was shocked when receiving it from me. The valuation turned out to be lower than my offer price, which meant that the bank would loan me less money. I was really out of cash by that time. and wanted a price reduction so that the sale would go through. Matthew was able to negotiate with the seller, and I got the price reduction I asked. Overall, a positive experience... Except that Matthew's task is not over even though the sale has completed - a fob is missing - and hopefully, Matthew will help getting it for me!
17th Jan 2018 (6 years ago)I found the whole team very proactive and approachable. William's valuation was realistic and the people who viewed the flat were obviously "real" buyers. As I live quite a distance from the property being sold I was always kept me up to date with viewings/ feedback and alerted to any issues (as the property was empty). Overall I was very satisfied with the service I received.
23rd May 2024 (9 weeks ago)By the far the best experience I’ve had with an estate agent. I was a tenant for two years and everything from the viewing, the paperwork, and the ongoing maintenance was extremely smooth and timely. Grwendill Gomes in particular was a brilliant property manager who was always reachable whenever I had a problem. He also made the move out process very smooth. Can’t say enough good things about BPS!

17th Jan 2022 (2 years ago)What a different way to sell a home, with supportive, gentle and trustworthy people. We’d been mulling over the idea of relocating out of London for years and even discussed putting our home on the market with Unique previously. What we like is that there is no big sales pitch, no pressure to sell, just listening and responding. But more importantly, keeping both our buyers and us calm, communicative and friendly throughout the sale, so it felt as smooth as it could possibly be. We’re not planning to do move again any time soon, but we’d definitely use Unique if we were.

They were both accommodating and flexible and I ended up with a great flat. Available to answer any questions and even post-move, have made it clear they’re on hand to help. 10/10 service.

The reason for this is that they provide a professional, practical and simply brilliant service to both landlord and tenant alike. Working to provide both parties with exceptional service! This team are different to the big chains of estate agents. They care about the landlords and tenants experience and don't just work for their own interest. Fantastic team rare to get this kind of service. Definitely recommended!

We were a walk in and although they had two parties going on they found a slot for us to have a quick cocktail. Good service and we had the sweetest hostess.
4th Jul 2024 (23 days ago)Awful experience with Hunters - so much so that I feel compelled to write a review, something I never do! They failed to advertise a property as for cash buyers only, and let me arrange a viewing despite knowing I needed a mortgage. Obviously then realising their mistake on the day of the viewing, I received an automated cancellation email an hour before the viewing - at this point I had already left and didn’t see the email. Nobody attempted to call or text me, which is how the viewing was arranged. I was then left stood outside the property in the rain for 20 minutes while the agent ignored my calls, only to then receive a text message admitting their error. All in all 3 hours of my evening wasted! Zero respect or care for potential buyers.
