10th Apr 2024 (23 days ago)Don't bother doing business with Stirling Ackroyd! They would advertise a place at a certain price, take 20 offers on it and then entertain every person who placed an offer to bid against others which will ultimately raise the asking price of the propriety by 20%. They are doing nothing but damaging what is already a difficult real estate market. Communication is extremely poor, they won't keep you in the loop nor inform if your offer was successful or not. To be frank I doubt they are even presenting all the offers to the landlord, they would most likely show off by putting forward only offers way above the asking price. I've been working with other agencies who have made it very clear they would be unable to do any viewings or take offers once a propriety is under offer but Stirling Ackroyd works like no one else on the market and I mean it in the worst possible way. If you are a landlord or a tenant looking for your next successful rental please take your business anywhere else but Stirling Ackroyd.

James was readily available for advice and updates during the process as well as working hard to get the sale over the line. Happily the purchase has now completed and we are delighted with our new home!

Her attention to detail and efficiency on organizing the viewings, as well as her professionalism and diligence on making sure only suitable properties would be offered to me, made this search much smoother and less time consuming. Although I've managed to come to terms with my current Landlord and ended by renewing lease on my current flat, I appreciate her time and availability during the past weeks and would not hesitate on recommending her services to any friends who need to rent a new flat in London. 22nd Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)Last time I rented anywhere was over a decade ago in Manchester, so I was a bit intimidated by the prospect of entering the cut-throat world of renting in London. Fortunately, it was Gyan that answered the phone, and we couldn’t be happier with the service he provided. Gyan took the time to find out exactly what was important to us and only sent us details of properties that were the right fit, which really helped as we were both working full-time and based in Manchester meaning time was at a premium. Gyan’s communication was great throughout via phone, email and Whatsapp depending on the situation. Viewings were always on time and very professional. The standout for us was that Gyan was infinitely patient and never too busy to answer our queries.
13th Apr 2024 (20 days ago)Really poor service. I have been trying to view a property that is for sale for a while now. The agent keeps messing me around... suggesting dates but never confirming the viewing. The property in question has been up for sale for a very long time and is suspect the inability of prospective viewers to see it will be a large part of the problem. Worse than the above is that the agent just fails to communicate so you never know if a viewing is being arranged or not. I would highly recommend finding another agent if serious about selling your property

Estate agents are not universally well regarded but Alex showed clear integrity where it was needed and I would have no hesitation in asking him to act for us again.
28th Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)Razieh was an absolute dream to work with! I am moving to London next week and securing a flat had gotten down to the wire. I wanted to find a place before I land. I submitted request over the weekend on GLP’s website. Razieh responded first thing Monday morning and sent me a flat that was better than the ones I picked. She offered and virtually toured it for me same day. As of today, I officially have a flat in London! Now, I can truly be excited for my overseas move. Thank you Razi, for your kindness, promptness, and amazing work!

He is cool under pressure, helpful and his kindness right to the point of handover and post sale speaks volumes to him in paying complete attention to his clients and he was immensely respectful to the requirements of our needs. Joe went above and beyond particularly when complex matters arose calmly managing these and he was diligent in the most important aspects of communication. This is a skilled person who represents his Employer highly. He is invested in the client’s needs as much as for the business. We thank him especially, for understanding the importance and value of honesty in this profession.
9th Apr 2024 (24 days ago)Gracie and Tiffany did an excellent job assisting the sale of our flat. Market conditions were difficult and we initially had another agent market the property. The other agent failed to get many viewings but when Gracie/Tiffany became agents that changed; there was a significant uptick in viewings and much better communication. We unfortunately had a buyer pull out but Gracie/Tiffany found a new buyer almost immediately. They were very helpful throughout the sales process too and helped get it over the line. Would recommend.

Nobody enjoys the process of moving, dealing with the chaos of making offers and counter-offers for properties, encountering agents who are either dishonest or evade the truth, or being subjected to considerable stress and pressure. This agency is the stark contrast to all of that. This agency, along with its staff, has been extraordinarily helpful, patient, and most notably, refreshingly straightforward and honest. I will always rely on them in the future, as I felt completely trustworthy throughout the entire process and believed that they were genuinely collaborating with me to discover the best solutions to my dilemma. Speaking of dilemmas, they have gone above and beyond to assist me with my specific situation, which required me to be referenced and approved to move within a two-day period. They accomplished this by working extra hours, liaising with multiple agencies and banks, among others, all while doing so in the most supportive manner. To anyone facing the daunting task of finding a new home, especially under tight constraints or challenging circumstances, I wholeheartedly recommend this estate agency. A happily settled London lessee ????
