10th Dec 2025 (6 days ago)I did a lot of research and checked on services offered aginst price and tbh MOV8 ticked most of the boxes and where they needed to they matched the competitors and through on some services FOC. After aceptance they were professional from the word go. Full and timely communication on each stage of the process to veiwing outcomes and feedback to offers and guidance on negotiation to final offer acceptance. Wow nothinh elso to add except that Finley, Laura, Rosa and all involved including third parties for photo shoot and video were exceptional in every manner of making this an easy proceas and straight forward journey. I would recommend MOV8 to anyone including my extended family members. 10/10 Well done!
20th Nov 2025 (26 days ago)We are still mid missives, moving towards exchange of contract day, but so far, it's all been good. I was selling on behalf of my brother with dementia, but they were very understanding and helpful. Advertising etc was good - it was not an easy property to sell, but they did it. All communications have been clear and good. I only did 4 stars for value for money as we are yet to see what the final costs will be. Nonetheless, as I live far away, it was important to have someone deal with everything, swiftly, simply and with clarity.

Selling real estate with her and her team was easy from start to finish. Becky guided us with so much clarity and patience, and the whole team were consistently supportive, responsive and professional. Even during the more stressful moments, everything was explained clearly and handled smoothly, which made a huge difference. We always felt looked-after and in safe hands. Highly recommend Ralph Sayer if you want a team who are thorough, approachable and genuinely care about their clients.

Within just a couple of weeks, we had both purchased and sold our property, all thanks to their hard work and expertise. Their communication is AMAZING, not only with us but also with interested buyers. They are super responsive, friendly, and consistently go above and beyond. Throughout the whole process we truly felt that they cared about our future and were invested in helping us make the right move. A huge thank you to Michael and the rest of the team — we couldn’t recommend you highly enough!

Contacted them to help with buying a new build property in September, everything was smooth at first, was told my case was being passed onto the conveyancing team on 24th October and they'd be in contact in 7-14 days. 31 days later I've not heard from them at all. Have rang multiple times only to be told the conveyancing team is busy every time, and they will email them to call me back - except no one has ever actually called me back! Really dissatisfied with the complete lack of communication - I do understand that things take time but to have absolutely no correspondence during such a stressful time period is just completely unacceptable. Wouldn't recommend them for purchasing a house.
3rd Nov 2023 (2 years ago)(While the company did finally provide compensation, it's important to note that I still experienced a significant opportunity cost as a result of their actions.) It has undeniably been the most regrettable experience of my lifetime, dealing with a solicitor team that exhibited a severe lack of professionalism and courtesy. Initially, I placed my trust in them based on their positive Google reviews, which now appear to be misleading and have led to significant frustration and inconvenience on my part. The solicitor in question was Shari, who astonishingly took a full year to complete the anti-money laundering check, despite my having submitted all required documents promptly. To compound matters, she repeatedly requested the same information, leading to redundant submissions. Regrettably, she ceased all communication, failing to respond to both my emails and those from the seller's side. My attempts to reach her went unanswered for two months until she seemingly disappeared without a trace. I was dismayed to find myself in such a predicament. In desperation, I enlisted the assistance of the estate agent, who contacted Joni, the National Head of Conveyancing. However, this interaction proved to be equally disheartening, as Joni not only displayed a lack of professionalism but also declined to provide any insight into the unilateral breach of contract, responding in a profane manner. I strongly advise against engaging with this company. As a result of their inefficiency, my funds remained in limbo within my bank account, as I had initially believed they could promptly resolve their business matters. Consequently, I have incurred substantial financial losses due to the failure of Simpson & Marwick to deliver on their commitments.

Kept up to date about sale of my property from Kenny and Katie Brydon was fantastic with the buying of my new property. She explained every step of the process. Would highly recommend Blackwood & Smith to friends.

27th Nov 2025 (19 days ago)Was trying to sell my house and switched from a perfectly good agent to Savills as I was led to believe that they have a "black book" of clients that other agents don't have. Was informed that "gone are the days when buyers come to you, we need to go out and find the buyers and we provide specific training to our team". Well, they did nothing of the sort. Extremely poor service in the marketing and getting me on the market. Poor or lack of communications. Numerous no shows and viewers ghosting. Complained after 1 week to Ben Fox, Director of Commercial. He didn't even bother following up to ensure their service had improved. Complained again in writing a few weeks later and not only did I not receive a response or even an acknowledgement from Ben Fox, my main contact John Forsyth cut all contact. I truly believe that I would have received a super service if my property was worth £1m plus. They are not interested in you otherwise.

Knowing that we needed both a solicitor and an estate agent, a friend recommended Neilsons. We're very glad they did! What impressed us the most was how fluid and seamless they made a process that is widely known to be complex. They have a team of people who are focused on very specific parts of the process, and they make it clear to clients, through a handy online portal, what the current state of things is, and who the key contact is at that time. I highly recommend just going for the package they offer that handles everything: photography, home reports, etc. It removed an enormous amount of stress. We also received a considerable amount of communication and advice from the team, which was invaluable in helping us make key decisions. Eileen Henderson and Dave Marshall really stood out in this regard, though the entire team was fantastic. After only 21 days on the market, we had a suitable offer! While I don't think I want to sell and buy at the same time again, if I had to do it, I would absolutely choose Neilsons.

The entire process of purchasing my property was seamless, thanks to the brilliant work of Cameron, Hazel and team. During a time that can feel overwhelming, Cameron made the experience as stress-free as possible. He was proactive and provided thorough updates, always taking the time to provide easy-to-understand summaries. I'm very grateful to the Cameron Stephen & Co team for making this experience so positive.

13th Dec 2025 (3 days ago)I recently purchased a property being marketed by Nicola. From the first minute of the initial viewing I was impressed. Nicola was able to field all my questions. She had clearly familiarised herself with the property and it's history. Throughout the purchase process Nicola was readily contactable answering follow-up questions and putting me at ease. On completion she spent some time explaining how heating systems etc. worked. Excellent service. Highly recommended.

The speed she worked at was amazing, getting our property on the market in no time. Her advice throughout made a huge difference and we ended up selling within just two weeks.
