10th Oct 2024 (6 mo. ago)I contacted Strutt & Parker in Exeter to sell my late parents home in Sidmouth. Isabel Clifton came and looked around the property, she was punctual and very professional with a friendly attitude. Isabel had a good grasp of the market and how to market the property in a difficult housing market. Isabel and her team provided good helpful advice and had an excellent knowledge of marketing our property. Their whole approach was professional, from valuing the property, to producing the particulars and photographs, to arranging the viewings and showing the potential purchasers around the property and achieving a good sale price that I was very happy with. I would highly recommend Isabel Clifton & her team if you are wishing to market a property. Robin Gabriel
10th Jun 2024 (10 mo. ago)The literal embodiment of why estate management companies have a poor reputation. 6 estate managers in 6 years. No AGM organised in 5 years, 6 months to deal with a blocked drain caused by their own contractor. 2 months and 6 emails and not a blade of grass cut in the estate with tall weeds growing from tarmac pathways. Good at talking, not so good at doing, Excuse after excuse.
12th Feb 2025 (9 weeks ago)We couldn’t fault our experience with the team at Fraser Wheeler Dawlish, a special thanks goes to Sharon and Paul for all their hard work , we were kept informed at every stage through the sale of our house, we can’t praise them enough. If we had to do another sale they will definitely be our first choice.
30th Oct 2024 (24 weeks ago)After my parents' death we needed to sell their house as a probate sale. The house needed some work and the fact that both executors lived in London made things more difficult. Ben gave a fair idea of price and secured multiple viewings over several months in a difficult market. He was always honest in his feedback, keen to update us and absolutely determined to help us sell. We completed in October 2024. I cannot recommend him too highly.

Really kept the sale on track in my mind. Always prompt feedback after every viewing. Fantastic experience from start to end. Would only use Chamberlains in the future. Well done guys !!!
3rd Feb 2025 (10 weeks ago)I am very satisfied with the 5-star service Shane has provided in my recent mortgage application. I cannot praise him more highly. I was worried if I can get a more favorable mortgage deal from lenders and the options the lenders offer. Shane has been very attentive and explained possible scenarios of choosing the fixed-rate, years term to me clearly, which is very useful in my financial planning. Out of my surprise, Shane managed to get a good deal from the lender for us so that we can start the new mortgage deal asap in order to save us 200 pounds in total! I would recommend him with no doubts because of his professionalism and high efficiency!

Specifically Vicky who we have been dealing with directly. She is extremely good at her job and anyone looking at using your move i would recommend her 100%

29th May 2023 (1 year ago)Never again. I lacked confidence in them, example in their words 'researching the correct steps to fulfil the sale'. It's a Park Home you don't even need a solicitor! Although I had used them before and dropped out of selling due to health problems they APPROACHED ME this time fully aware of acting for a 70 year old with heart problems and again when the stress and uncertainty caused health issues to flare instead of understanding that they knowingly had gone into the risk charged £1200 with the various bullshit excuses about 'researching correct steps' Errrr... You're an Estate Agents! Park Homes aren't exactly hens teeth around Torbay you should like Connells be well aware of how to sell one and 'hand delivered documents' errr...I offered to come and collect them and was told by the office not to bother as they had someone just round the corner that afternoon who would 'pop them through the letter box'. So in summary a small charge would have shown decency and common sense, £1200 for a risk they touted for is in my opinion the proof of their attitude and why I would most certainly never go near them again.

Learnt after the property was sold that she never contacted the first people who had put in an offer to give them chance to come back with an increased offer. Website should have been a warning not to list with her as its appalling. Not sure how she is still trading!
13th Jul 2024 (9 mo. ago)We had to ask for corrections to be made on the plans and listings several times. Company way over priced our property. No idea on how to help us sell our home, on the market for 10 months. We ended up going to external company for advice, after that we sold our home within 2 weeks. Stay away from these cowboys
4th Dec 2022 (2 years ago)We chose Savills because they appeared to be the most efficient and proactive company we approached to sell our home. Unfortunately once we’d signed up, they weren’t reliable and didn’t communicate with us regularly. Phone calls weren’t returned, our agent was never available when we rang. Feedback only given twice in 6 months. We have now taken our property off the market until next year.
