25th Sep 2018 (5 years ago)Fantastic place, fantastic people. Moved down to sunny Exmouth from Portsmouth and Kathleen and Barry couldn't have been more helpful. Phone calls every week with progress updates, always there to reassure and answer questions. Really can't thank them enough. Would definitely use Fulfords again and wouldn't hesitate in recommending them.

The process was very smooth from start to finish, especially impressive given a challenged trading environment and interest rate uncertainty. We achieved our target price with a very harmonious closing process. I think both the Buyer and Seller should equally feel good about the transaction, facilitated in no small part due to Savills Exeter. Of particular note was Chris Clifford's professionalism and exceptional communication skills that went above and beyond - a great comfort to my wife and me. Recommended.
15th Feb 2024 (9 weeks ago)This estate agency is absolutely terrible. As a person trying to buy a home they are rude on the phone and don’t seem proactive, or fussed. I think it’s the worst estate agency I’ve come across and it’s a shame because they seem the prominent agency in Dorset and Devon (perhaps they know they have the monopoly). I’m now searching for homes that are with other estate agents

Always professional, even when it gets stressful, Helen was a godsend and was always at the end of the phone when we needed her. We would highly recommend them to anyone.

8th Apr 2024 (11 days ago)Offer to buy a house was accepted and it was up to our surveyors to highlight a Grade 2 listing. Whilst Knight Frank ‘empathise’ we are at considerable out of pocket expense. Property now correctly advertised as listed and whatever the background of who claims what, the agent is expected to have carried out due diligence to confirm facts of what they are marketing. Knight Frank Exeter blame their customer and empathise with potential buyer where legislation states an agent must disclose all information before costs related to surveying or conveying are undertaken. However, this shoddy outfit shirk all responsibility; what a reflection of where we are in todays world. Referring to ombudsman as customer service are running on pastoral ‘empathy’ rather than address a problem where potential buyers remain considerably out of pocket. Our contract was with Knight Frank and their codes of ethics and standards where due diligence is the foundation. The Exeter office has failed miserably to address their duty of professional responsibility. Buyers (and sellers) beware! (investigation response was that "we didn't know, not out fault") With a pending county court claim all is resolved!

Your sales team then did a marvellous job carefully steering us through the sale of my Mum's house over many months while we awaited grant of Probate

Learnt after the property was sold that she never contacted the first people who had put in an offer to give them chance to come back with an increased offer. Website should have been a warning not to list with her as its appalling. Not sure how she is still trading!
2nd Oct 2023 (6 mo. ago)We have recently sold our property with Jasper and the lovely ladies in the office at Ware Commercial and could not fault their effort and support. All of the team are incredibly knowledgeable about getting the best results for you. They will offer professional advice when dealing with solicitors (their advice was much better than our solicitor's - saving us thousands of pounds). An incredible team that I can't recommend enough.
