14th May 2025 (5 weeks ago)I had a great experience selling my flat with Pilgrims Sales and Lettings, we had 8+ views within 2 weeks of listing and we had sold our flat above the asking price, about 4 weeks after listing. Pilgrims Sales and lettings are simply superb, they answered all our questions really quickly, gave feedback from every viewing and always went above and beyond without hesitation. They are a local family owned business, and the honesty and level of support we got easily surpassed that of any of the larger chains in the area (I have used others in the past) All round a great company to represent you weather selling or letting, would highly recommend.
22nd Jan 2025 (21 weeks ago)After viewing a home in November,we were told that Darren couldn’t get hold of the beneficiaries. Even after we agreed a price and put down a deposit. Hung on for weeks bearing in mind it was only a mobile home with a 21 day turnover to complete. We were then offered another one double the price,knowing we only wanted a small place.Darren said to offer the previous price as they were again beneficiaries so might take up the offer. Offer refused so counter offer made. Yet again Darren made excuses of not getting hold of the sellers. Excuse after excuse. This was suppose to be a quick turnaround due to us selling a house which had a handover date to which has been postponed several times because of the poor service from this company. Very disappointed and the man shouldn’t be trusted,even when I’ve asked several times for a refund on deposit

From our first contact with Nick Griffiths through to exchange of contracts he has been there to advise, been completely professional, easily contactable and good humoured through a slow process. He is supported by an equally excellent team. I thoroughly recommend them.

As first-time buyers, we had a lot to learn, and Stuart made the whole process much easier. We couldn’t recommend Grants Homes enough!
9th May 2025 (6 weeks ago)I would never use Luxe again, due to their extremely poor handling of the issue with the pigeons at the property I rented for the past year. The landlord is horrible and refused to do anything to help with pigeons persistently defacating all over my balcony. The landlord conveniently made sure spikes were installed on the balcony of the flat next to mine (which is considered as a “luxury” apartment) Make of that what you will but the refusal to support me made my experience living at the property awful. I had to clean the balcony almost every weekend because the putrid smell and unsightly condition of the balcony meant I was left with no other choice. I repeatedly emailed Luxe properties and they ignored my emails. For the amount in rent you pay this is not the service you would expect. Move into Kundra Court, at your own risk because the pigeons will either wake you up extremely early in the mornings repeatedly or their faeces will ruin your balcony if you take a flat with the balcony. I also had a member of the Luxe team barge into my flat without any prior notice to carry out an inspection. The woman was rude and basically pressured me to let her into my apartment even though she knew that they are supposed to give notice. That’s the kind of behaviour your can expect from this company. I was also forced to go to their offices 3 times to collect a key because no one could be bothered to stick to the agreed time. Unprofessional and disrespectful team. The landlord is a typical greedy and morally bankrupt individual who tried to rip me off and overcharge me when I tried to get my security deposit back. They exploit the fact that you need security deposit back if you’re moving into a new property and assume you will just accept the overcharge. I am disgusted by the landlord, who should be ashamed of his corrupt and money grabbing behaviour.
31st Jan 2022 (3 years ago)Deal with this estate agent will be nightmare you prepare to be. just bought a house in guildford. given the offer to the seller. the estate agent pushed price and arrange unrealistic exchange and completion date. this results in the seller withdraw the listing. half year later, the seller is ready to sell. the estate agent disclosure both the sellers and buyers personal information to financial brokers and insurance thirdparties for marketing. during the communication with them, it is hugely unreliable and unfriendly. no customer service and professionalism. at the completion date, the sellers cannot give keys to estate agent and the buyers waste time to wait for the keys to be given. completely rubbish. both the sellers and buyers should be avoid..

We've had a long journey with our house move and Foundations were incredible at every step. They worked hard to ensure we got the best deal for our house sale, lining up back to back viewings, following up with individuals, even spotting early on (before it became a much bigger problem!) when a buyer submitted an offer but then disappeared. It was almost no suprise when the house we'd offered on fell through and Foundations saved the day again, finding our dream house and securing the purchase. They really listened and understood our position and what we were looking for. I will be recommending them to everyone!
30th May 2025 (20 days ago)I cannot speak highly enough of MBL, they are by far the best agency that I have ever used, and there have been a few! I have rented with MBL for the last 9 years and was sorry to leave them after purchasing my own property. Mark has always been a delight to speak to, Grace is excellent and was kind enough to put me in touch with Will when I needed work carrying out on my new property. I highly recommend MBL, thank you so much for everything over the last 9 years.

5th Oct 2023 (1 year ago)Had the worst nightmare of my life when they gave me an apartment absolutely infested with Bedbugs….. I asked for immediate return of my deposit and it took them more than 2 months to do it ONLY after the local council intervened.. Made me homeless and had the audacity to question me for complaining.. Absolutely incompetent. Please avoid at all costs.

15th Mar 2025 (14 weeks ago)We rented an apartment through this agency and encountered several issues that I feel should be noted. After moving in, I discovered mould and mildew on the bathroom ceiling that were not disclosed at the time of tenancy. When I raised these concerns, the owner explained that certain features, such as the shower over the bath, were not designed for regular use and declined to address the aged and peeling paint. At the end of the tenancy, I found that deductions were being made from my deposit to cover flooring replacement and cleaning costs, despite the property condition being within normal wear and tear. The inventory report appeared to exaggerate discrepancies between check?in and check?out conditions. Fortunately, my deposit was protected by the DPS, and I was able to obtain a full refund after submitting a statutory declaration. I have heard similar concerns from other tenants, particularly international renters, regarding disputes at tenancy end. I advise prospective tenants to thoroughly inspect any property before committing. While the agency may offer cost-effective solutions for some landlords, potential renters should be cautious and fully assess the property’s condition.

He went above and beyond to help sell the house with great efficiency given the complexities and circumstances behind the sale. Would highly recommend using Robert (and Jackson-Stops) as an estate agency and would use them again in future if ever looking to buy or sell again.
