The chain was a short one, which was lucky for all concerned. The whole process was dealt with professionally and with great assistance. All the questions we had were responded to and dealt with quickly. We would have no hesitation in recommending Richard State Estate Agents to anybody.

The quality of care, professionalism and support is outstanding, both for Landlord and Tenant. Dealing with Reece and Ian has been an absolute delight. If I could give them more than 5*, I would.

5th Jun 2024 (7 weeks ago)I had a very i’m professional, unreliable and lack of communication experience with this company. Very good with the sells talk , but when it comes to doing they job, it’s pathetic beyond words. Keep away from amateurs.
17th Jan 2022 (2 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.

Reported to trading standards and has several CCJ’s but folds the company but keeps the Edward Barclay trading name. Check him out on companies house and avoid him at all cost. One day he’ll do it to the wrong person.

From our first contact with Nick Griffiths through to exchange of contracts he has been there to advise, been completely professional, easily contactable and good humoured through a slow process. He is supported by an equally excellent team. I thoroughly recommend them.

Stuart have been great in terms of communication, general advice, helping with surveys and even clearing out the property when the seller couldn’t. Thank you very much Stuart for making the purchase process smooth.
31st Jan 2022 (2 years ago)Deal with this estate agent will be nightmare you prepare to be. just bought a house in guildford. given the offer to the seller. the estate agent pushed price and arrange unrealistic exchange and completion date. this results in the seller withdraw the listing. half year later, the seller is ready to sell. the estate agent disclosure both the sellers and buyers personal information to financial brokers and insurance thirdparties for marketing. during the communication with them, it is hugely unreliable and unfriendly. no customer service and professionalism. at the completion date, the sellers cannot give keys to estate agent and the buyers waste time to wait for the keys to be given. completely rubbish. both the sellers and buyers should be avoid..

30th Aug 2022 (1 year ago)Recently purchased a property at auction with Hammer Price Homes. I was a little sceptical first about buying a property via an online auction but was really surprised and happy about how easy it was. I liked the transparency of the auction and felt that it tested what the actual market value of the property was rather than the usual process of placing offers through an estate agent. The additional benefit was that we had time to arrange a mortgage. We had 3 months following the auction to complete and Michael at Hammer Price was great to guide us through the process and answer any questions. We completed 2 weeks ago and have began renovations on our new house last week!

20th Jun 2024 (5 weeks ago)Darren was an excellent agent and better than I hoped for. Our chain was a tough one with many challenges, difficult people and poor behaviour. Darren rose to the occasion. His manner instilled confidence in all those around him and kept others calm in stressfull situations. Assertive, respectful, professional with a good sense of fun, Darren has the skills to pull people together and get things done. The other estate agents in the process looked hopeless in comparison to Darren's experience, skills and behaviours. If you're looking for someone who you can trust, who gets results without behaving like a "cowboy" I would highly recommend.

3rd Jan 2023 (1 year ago)Estate Agents sometimes get a bad rap (on occasions deserved), But if you use Henry Phillips Estate Agent, they will take you through the whole process of selling the house, explaining how and why your house is advertised and when the offer comes through they lease with both sets of Solicitors. I can assure you, your stress will be much reduced. Our main contact was David Stevens and throughout it was obvious he new what he was talking about, A very proffesional job. Thankyou Ben
