We rented a property through this company, and I would strongly advise any tenants to avoid using Masella Coupe and their lettings property management team.
Over the course of our tenancy, we had countless interactions with Gilli Dyer (Property Manager) who was unable to answer, respond and pass over basic information in time on a regular basis. As an example, it took her 6 months to personally carry out an inspection on a mouldy, damp cupboard that we were persistently trying to resolve. This resulted in a contractor arriving to the property and immediately finding the cause of the problem which turned out to be a leak from a pipe running through the cupboard containing waste water from the flats upstairs.
No apology, or monetary reimbursement was made from Gilli or Masella Coupe regardless of the numerous days we had to book off work to cover the works needed on the flat.
It seems Masella Coupe and Gilli Dyer are keen to make sure the landlord has a positive outcome despite their own shortfalls in providing a stable and reliable lettings service in which decisions are made fairly and with an ounce of common sense, resulting in us tenants living in a health hazard for 6 months.
Leading to our end of tenancy with them, to which they did not take the previous experience into account and allowed the landlord to draw out releasing the deposit via the DPS until almost 4 months later.
From other reviews on Google, it shows their sales team is well equipped to deal with selling properties and assisting customers through this process, however it shows some basic customer service and communication training needs to be carried out on the lettings side of the business.... Read more
