The team at the Great Bookham office was very supportive throughout the lease signing process; they responded promptly and provided the guidance we needed to finalise it.

22nd Jul 2026 (13 days ago)Anthony was genuinely the most professional, helpful and friendly estate agent we’ve ever had! From the first viewing, he knew all the answers to our questions, and once we agreed to rent the property, he worked super quickly to get us in within a week. Once in, he has been extremely responsive to any questions or issues we’ve had, sorting some maintenance issues while we were away, and nothing feels like too much trouble. It’s honestly been such a refreshing experience! Would 100% recommend Anthony, it couldn’t have gone any better ??????

Oliver and Giles were super helpful, even going out of their way and getting information and talking to the solicitors. This has been a long procedure but a very pleasant one. I could highly recommend them as they are very professional and trustworthy. Thank you again!

Communication was excellent throughout, and we were always given comprehensive feedback after viewings.<br><br>Once we had accepted an offer, the high level of customer service continued. Hayley Levy in Sales Progression was an essential part of the process. She was proactive, kept everything moving as quickly as possible, and was always on hand to keep us updated.<br><br>We are incredibly grateful to the whole team for making what can be a stressful process as smooth and straightforward as possible. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Bridges.

They have always been highly responsive to both general queries and to any maintenance required. Grantley always kept us informed of emergency contacts over the holidays, and proactively informed us of upcoming changes to the letting process/legislation. House visits were organised well in advance, allowing us our privacy. Highly recommended!

I originally used them as my letting agent for over 10 years, and because of that positive experience, I decided to instruct them for the sale of my property as well.<br><br>It turned out to be a fantastic decision. 28th Mar 2026 (18 weeks ago)Generally ok, however agent reassured us our family ‘profile’ would appeal to sellers, some days later they sold to a property developer! Not much more to say, I guess more money was the ‘profile’ that won! Also as days lapsed communication went sour. And since they never contacted us regarding any new properties, effectively loosing interest!

Without them, we wouldn't have secured our dream home in one of Guildford's most sought-after areas or reached completion so quickly and smoothly. We can't thank them enough!<br><br>Looking back, it has been a long and exhausting journey. We first began our house search in 2024 with another estate agents and moved to Seymour's at the beginning of 2026. Initially, we were a little concerned that a larger estate agency might feel too corporate or be focused on pushing for a quick sale. In reality, that’s not been the case at all.<br><br>Charles is one of the kindest, most knowledgeable and dependable person we've had the pleasure of working with. From our very first conversation through to completion, he kept in close contact, keeping us updated every step of the way and proactively suggesting properties that genuinely matched our requirements. He was always easy to reach, and his advice was consistently honest, thoughtful, and never pushy. We always felt he had our best interests at heart.<br><br>Once our offers were accepted, Jules became our main point of contact throughout the conveyancing process, and we were blown away by her dedication and work ethic. She worked tirelessly to coordinate between all the parties involved and to resolve the many issues that inevitably arose along the way. Time and again she responded to emails late into the evening and over weekends, simply to ensure that nothing was left unresolved. Her commitment, professionalism, and attention to detail were truly exceptional.<br><br>We feel incredibly fortunate that Charles and Jules were with us throughout this journey. The care, integrity, and professionalism they showed at every stage gave us complete confidence that we were in the best possible hands. All issues that popped up were resolved that day and taken really seriously. I would really recommend Stirling Ackroyd especially if Hannah is taking care of you!
16th May 2026 (11 weeks ago)Absolutely appalling service. Catherine, who was supposed to show us around the property we had arranged to see was short and rude from the moment we met her. She refused to answer any questions we had about the property, didn’t seem at all interested in actually displaying the property to us and spoke horribly to us during the brief time we had with her. Avoid this agency at all costs if this is the standard they hold themselves to. Honestly the worst experience I’ve ever had with an estate agency.

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

3rd Jul 2026 (5 weeks ago)Mark Collins recently sold a rental property for me , from initial meeting of Mark I knew I wanted to use him to sell my property , I had done some research on what local properties were selling for , Mark was spot on with his valuation so the property sold very quickly , he is always available to speak on the phone or will always call back promptly if hes busy ,he made the whole process stress free, I cant recommend him enough

We were not just another house sale, Paul was supportive, informative, available even at night time when you may need answers Paul would reply. Thats rare, that's real service with a no problem is too much attitude. He made everything smooth. If your looking for a hands on estate agent who gives a proper service. Then I recommend this company. You will be in safe hands.
