They have always been highly responsive to both general queries and to any maintenance required. Grantley always kept us informed of emergency contacts over the holidays, and proactively informed us of upcoming changes to the letting process/legislation. House visits were organised well in advance, allowing us our privacy. Highly recommended!

Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they made the whole experience stress-free.<br><br>They found us a wonderful little cottage and guided us through every step, making sure everything went as smoothly as possible. The team were always professional, and incredibly efficient.<br><br>Their spacious, and welcoming office in Farnham reflects the excellent service they provide. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Charters Farnham to anyone looking for an estate agent that genuinely cares about its clients.

Staff are experienced, and we are so pleased with the service we received.<br>We cannot praise Caroline enough, who has been absolutely brilliant - dedicated, hard working and super helpful, and not just for us but for every party in the chain.<br>The staff in the Godalming office work as a team, and so were able to help us even when Caroline was unavailable.

James valued and marketed our property just right. He kept us in the loop throughout and without his diligence, perseverance and going the extra mile, I don't think we would have got the deal done. We can wholeheartedly recommend James and his team to all, 100% trustworthy and honest, we were very fortunate to have got them on board.

22nd Jul 2026 (13 days ago)It's been a brilliant experience moving with Winkworth and I have to give a massive thank you specifically to Jamie Solis who helped us sell our property and buy a new one - great communication throughout the whole process, always able to answer our questions (millions of them...) and generally just a calm, patient, reassuring and informed guy, who was clearly very motivated to get us the house we wanted, and to sell ours.<br>We've experienced a few estate agents in Farnham and Winkworth were far and away the best experience we've had. Thanks Jamie and team!

Very pleased and grateful to the care, he and the team showed with the dealing of this sale. He saw the potential, worked out the correct market, and was straight talking about everything. Clear and brilliant communication meant we were up to date about all parts of the process, and everything went quickly and smoothly as these things can.

All issues that popped up were resolved that day and taken really seriously. I would really recommend Stirling Ackroyd especially if Hannah is taking care of you!
16th May 2026 (11 weeks ago)Absolutely appalling service. Catherine, who was supposed to show us around the property we had arranged to see was short and rude from the moment we met her. She refused to answer any questions we had about the property, didn’t seem at all interested in actually displaying the property to us and spoke horribly to us during the brief time we had with her. Avoid this agency at all costs if this is the standard they hold themselves to. Honestly the worst experience I’ve ever had with an estate agency.

2nd Jun 2026 (9 weeks ago)10/10 – I would recommend Bourne in Godalming without hesitation. We initially had our house on the market with another agent who unfortunately wasn’t able to sell it. After switching, the difference was night and day. From the outset, the team (Adrian, Jim, Tilly) were proactive, communicative, and genuinely invested in getting the best outcome for us. They kept us updated throughout, were always available to answer questions, and worked incredibly hard to keep things moving. Selling and buying a house can be stressful, but their professionalism, persistence, and support made a huge difference. We’re delighted with the result and very grateful for all their help. They always give us plenty of notice of a viewing and leave the house clean and tidy which one would think is normal but past experience has proved otherwise! (different agents).

Cancelled appointments and numerous excuses throughout, it’s ironic that they sell themselves as a more bespoke and individual service when actually I felt the complete opposite. Josh was our agent and I wouldn’t recommend.
