5th Apr 2026 (11 weeks ago)Came over to Batcheller Monkhouse on Saturday late morning around mid day as had an unusual day off to see someone about selling our cottage and was pretty disappointed no one there but your website says 9-1 no sign of anyone despite calling the number on website too so gave up and went elsewhere that was open. Matt.
31st Jan 2022 (4 years ago)Deal with this estate agent will be nightmare you prepare to be. just bought a house in guildford. given the offer to the seller. the estate agent pushed price and arrange unrealistic exchange and completion date. this results in the seller withdraw the listing. half year later, the seller is ready to sell. the estate agent disclosure both the sellers and buyers personal information to financial brokers and insurance thirdparties for marketing. during the communication with them, it is hugely unreliable and unfriendly. no customer service and professionalism. at the completion date, the sellers cannot give keys to estate agent and the buyers waste time to wait for the keys to be given. completely rubbish. both the sellers and buyers should be avoid..

Grantley’s has been the most responsive and professional lettings agents and management company that I have experienced. If I had a buy to let, I would use them. I’m really going to miss my chats with Samantha. Hopefully one day I will either rent a place managed by them or, if fortunate enough, have a buy to let that they manage.

During that time, they were always helpful, always available to sort out any problems I might've had. They're friendly, approachable, and highly professional. Just a bunch of really decent people. And I'm very grateful for all of their help during my time there.

He successfully found us a buyer 4 days later so that we were able to secure a property we had seen. We are now in the capable hands of Kevin & the Solicitor they recommended & feel happy to go away for 3 weeks while it all proceeds. Many thanks for your guidance Ollie

We've now bought and sold a property with them, and every time they have been so communicative and helpful. When selling our house this year, Matthew and the team were always there to offer advice and keep things moving, which we greatly appreciated as we were also juggling the arrival of our first baby in the final few weeks leading up to exchange and completion. We wouldn't hesitate to reach out to them again in the future!

She took the time to understand our requirements, kept us updated, and was always available to answer questions and offer helpful advice. Although we ultimately decided to proceed with another agency, that decision was based on our specific circumstances and not a reflection of the excellent service Ruby provided. Her dedication, enthusiasm, and customer-focused approach really stood out, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and proactive estate agent. 16th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)Absolutely appalling service. Catherine, who was supposed to show us around the property we had arranged to see was short and rude from the moment we met her. She refused to answer any questions we had about the property, didn’t seem at all interested in actually displaying the property to us and spoke horribly to us during the brief time we had with her. Avoid this agency at all costs if this is the standard they hold themselves to. Honestly the worst experience I’ve ever had with an estate agency.

2nd Jun 2026 (18 days ago)10/10 – I would recommend Bourne in Godalming without hesitation. We initially had our house on the market with another agent who unfortunately wasn’t able to sell it. After switching, the difference was night and day. From the outset, the team (Adrian, Jim, Tilly) were proactive, communicative, and genuinely invested in getting the best outcome for us. They kept us updated throughout, were always available to answer questions, and worked incredibly hard to keep things moving. Selling and buying a house can be stressful, but their professionalism, persistence, and support made a huge difference. We’re delighted with the result and very grateful for all their help. If you’re looking for an estate agent who is responsive, proactive, and goes above and beyond, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

3rd Oct 2024 (1 year ago)Recently sold a property in Guildford; It was a long and tortuous process complicated by the fact that I am living overseas and was very poorly advised as to finding a settlement agent. A first real estate agent made unrealistic market assertions regarding the market then followed up by passing the work to office juniors. Eventually I re-marketed through Kings and was fortunate to have Bipen working on my property. Bipen personally conducted viewings and found a buyer in reasonable time, then worked to achieve a mutually acceptable outcome; Unfortunately, this was only the start- dealing through disinterested settlement lawyers on both sides of the deal was so tedious that I came close to abandoning the sale; Somehow, and mainly through Bipen’s perseverance and patience, the deal was eventually settled and both myself and the buyer can move on. Many thanks to Bipen for sticking with this one- his diligence was literally the only thing between a sale and returning to the rental market! Great outcome all round- Many thanks!
