Their services have been professional and refreshing from those estate agents who left bitter taste in me. Genuine and pragmatic people, happy to assist and provided professional direction throughout the viewing and referencing stages. I would highly recommend for anyone looking to buy or rent in the area they serve and you would find a friendly and professional services that is quite hardly found in today’s estate agenting. 28th Feb 2020 (4 years ago)ARQ Homes Estate Agent was recommended to me to get a lettings valuation's appraisal for my house. Also, following the reading of good reviews from other people, I was confident and encouraged to make an appointment with ARQ Homes. I spoke with Abdul who invited me to his office, and made feel more than just a client, I felt like a guest in his ARQ estate agent. Abdul was very clear and concise covering all the details in order to give me an honest an accurate valuation appraisal. Abdul also used his valuable experience and knowledge in the housing market, in order to give me a good advice how to proceed with my plan for both potential lettings and sales of my property. Abdul's advice has definitely put me on the the right directions in order to achieve the best possible outcome in relation to my property. 5th Jul 2023 (10 mo. ago)Lettings team exhibiting strange behaviours. We were asked to send our documents and a holding deposit for a property but one day later were told the property was no longer available as someone else had put a deposit down. One week later we have seen that the property is still up and available to view and the estate agents has not given us a reason as to why our original offer was suddenly declined at the last minute and they clearly lied about another individual putting a deposit down (which is also strange as we had been asked to put the deposit down so have you asked multiple applicants?)

12th Apr 2024 (5 weeks ago)April 2024. Very dissatisfied with the service. We booked a property for viewing for Wednesday at the beginning of the week, and then that same day called to postpone it to Thursday. On Thursday they called that they would like to post pone for Friday instead, we played nice - and said no problem. And on a Friday morning, finally the date of viewing, they called to ask if we are still available for a viewing as well as slightly pushing it to come even earlier - we confirmed. While we were on our way (sacrificed half of the working day to make it there) literally 20 minutes before the viewing - they called to say someone made a holding deposit on the property…. ??????????? I don’t know the details on the inside, but it seems like we were not the top candidates for the listing, and they were keeping us as last resort giving what seemed like made up excuses, as clearly the property was viewed on our initial scheduling days, otherwise how did someone place a holding deposit for it so soon. Regardless of any of that, this situation just leaves a super bad aftertaste, felt very unprofessional and just seemed that they didn’t care at all ??????????? ????

5th Oct 2022 (1 year ago)We had a really bad experience with this estate agent, so beware. We had an offer accepted on a property, Jerome did the usual of taking our ID, proof of deposit, agreement in principle etc and confirmed acceptance. Three weeks later our solicitor raised our attention to the fact that the sellers solicitor had yet to issue draft contracts. After another week I finally got hold of Jerome who confirmed that the seller wouldn't issue the draft contract until we had a confirmed mortgage offer on the property. I told Jerome that wasn't the normal sequence we were familiar with, but he assured me that was how sales progressed in his experience. We went back to our solicitor who advised us that they would indeed normally wait for draft contracts to be issued before proceeding with searches and surveys etc. So we gave the sellers solicitor a deadline before we would reconsider the offer. On the day of the deadline the seller issued a race contract and advised us that there was another interested party who's offer had also been accepted and the seller would exchange with the party which secured a mortgage offer first. I don't know whether Jerome was aware that the seller had accepted multiple offers when we had our conversation, but my instinct at the time told me he wasn't being open and honest about the sellers intentions. So beware of this agent in case they try this with you.

We chose Bowden Bradley to sell our house in Hainault, as they were a locally based but forward-looking modern agency that offered a competitive no-sale no-fee pricing structure. We were immediately impressed with Robin's insightful market evaluation and emphasis on the importance of finding the right type of buyer as well as the best possible offer. At the time given the market conditions, without such guidance, it may well have taken us many more months to receive a good offer from reliable buyers. The quality of their photography and videography was great too and they were able to get us listed days after we signed with them. We'd also like to thank Emilea, who did a great job in helping progress the sale and keep all parties updated - without which we may not have been able to complete before Christmas!
