11th Dec 2023 (20 weeks ago)John was great to deal with throughout the process apart from being let down with 2 days notice from moving into property leaving me disappointed and left to sort out returning a sofa, bed and wardrobes at expense to myself so close to Christmas. Highly unprofessional giving me 2 days notice via email that the property was no longer to be let and to let them know bank details to return deposit. Very dissatisfied with service led to believe the property was mine…
8th Nov 2023 (25 weeks ago)We instantly liked Andy as soon as he came to value our property. Both he and Zaheeda have worked very hard to assist with our house sale, keeping us informed throughout. Their guidance has always been excellent and very much appreciated. We would highly recommend Farr O’Neil as they are totally honest, trustworthy and just lovely people to deal with.
29th Mar 2024 (30 days ago)Booked in to view a property with Steve and his team at the Chigwell branch. The appointment was booked swiftly with the time i requested. Steve arrived on time and showed me around the property while explaining everything as we walked around the house including the local area. This lead us to making an offer and getting accepted within a day. Very professional and helpful. Amazing service from Steve and his team. Thank you so much.
24th Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)Terrible estate agents put us through hell for nearly a year couldn't be bothered to do anything didn't wanna fix any problems me my 3 year old daughter and partner got moved to harlow by hackney council so woodlands was our estate agents if anything needed repairs they was meant to sort it we had no hot water or heating for nearly a year kept complaining nothing got done we had to sleep in the living room as the whole house was covered in mould and our clothes washing machine floor cooker my daughter's toys everything was ruined they told us to clean it ourselves my 3 year old now has asthma she was healthy before we moved their I had carbon monoxide poisoning due to the sever smell of mould environmental health found over 28 hazards and shut the place down only a week before we had to move due to the property being shut down they put a new boiler in after waiting nearly a year they lie they are disrespectful and rude Please if you have a property from woodlands screen emails messages take pictures because that's what we did from the day we moved in they called us liers but we had all the evidence now solicitors and environmental health are involved

31st Mar 2024 (28 days ago)I was viewing a house for sale with the estate agent Donna Faircloth from Woodbury Homes and we had our time slot for 1pm and we waited for our time session but some other couple stood closer to the door and told her their time was for 1:45pm but asked to view early so she told us to wait as she'll show us after these people and so we waited. She eventually called us in while the other couple were viewing the garden and the rest of the house Then we were viewing the kitchen, the other couple were starting to leave so she asked us to wait and shut us in the kitchen so she can talk privately to the other couple. This was a bad experience and was the worst estate agent I have ever viewed with. I hope that Woodbury Homes does call me to explain Donna's behaviour and apologises for her leaving us in the kitchen for so long when she could have just let us view the rest of the property.

They also found a property for me and my family which we needed within a week. They organised and carried out all jobs for us and managed every detail. This would have been so very stressful for us to manage. I can honestly say that this is a five star agency You will not regret using Hunt they are experts and a wonderful group of friendly property managers to deal with We cannot thank you enough we are so happy in our new home.

5th Jul 2023 (9 mo. ago)Lettings team exhibiting strange behaviours. We were asked to send our documents and a holding deposit for a property but one day later were told the property was no longer available as someone else had put a deposit down. One week later we have seen that the property is still up and available to view and the estate agents has not given us a reason as to why our original offer was suddenly declined at the last minute and they clearly lied about another individual putting a deposit down (which is also strange as we had been asked to put the deposit down so have you asked multiple applicants?)
15th Feb 2024 (10 weeks ago)This is a public announcement to those trying to get a property through Maddison Fox. Stay well clear of this Lettings agency! Shanon Davis the lettings co-ordinator of Maddison fox Loughton branch is very unprofessional and collusive and preys on vulnerable individuals for financial gains. I was initially pressured by Jamie Chappell into paying 6 months rent in advance to secure my “spot” or I will lose my holding deposit, which made no sense as I was eligible to rent on a monthly basis. The communication was very one sided from the pair of them, as they only contacted me when they felt like and did not return any calls/emails when I was trying to reach them. I was given the complete run around during the process of moving in and trying to vacate the premises. Originally I was suppose to move in at the end of October 2023, however they delayed my move in date by an additional 2 weeks, which left me out of pocket as I had to call in the removal team and call off work. Now that I am trying to vacate the premises she is trying to coerce me into extending the lease for another 6 months, even though I have given her 2 months notice before the 6 month break clause which is stated on my contract. She is also is trying to make me responsible to find her a new tenant, which I find hilarious because isn’t that their job? I know I am well within in my rights in my contract. This is just a friendly public announcement to avoid dealing with Shannon and Jamie as they both seem to have hidden agendas and financially motivated interests. This has been nothing but a horrible experience and I would not want anyone else to experience what I have!

From the moment I stepped through the door, I felt welcomed and at ease. The property owner, with their kindness and cooperative nature, made my stay exceptionally pleasant. The overall environment of the house was serene and calming. The peacefulness enveloped me, allowing me to unwind after long days. Moreover, the neighborhood itself contributed significantly to my positive experience. It was a community where friendly faces greeted me, and where safety and cleanliness were evident. I wholeheartedly recommend this rental property. With its kind owner, serene atmosphere, and excellent neighborhood, it deserves nothing less than a 5-star rating.

And knowledgeable too - any estate agent that answers ‘I don’t know’ to a difficult question about a property shouldn’t be doing viewings! And this definitely wasn’t our experience with Sarah and with Fine & Country. All of which means good experience and progress in buying a property with them, that deserves five stars.
16th Apr 2024 (12 days ago)Please make sure if you are renting a property from them to take all the tiny details and pictures of the flat especially if it is an old flat. When the time comes for check out you will need to prove to get the deposit back. Be very careful. They will try and deduct money for the issue relating to the old property.

Ian and the team at Michael Steven are nothing but true professionals that go above and beyond to ensure that not only is your house sale safe with them, but you have full communication throughout your journey. Moving home as we all know is one of the most stressful experiences anyone can go through, but with a team like this working to do their best for their clients it helps to put your mind at ease. I would recommend them to any friend or family! Thank you so much we are so incredibly happy

Michael went above and beyond, not only providing the service we engaged him for, but also offering good general advice on the buying and selling process, and being a property owner! And all of this was provided at a fee that is much lower price than changed by others.Would 100% recommend.
