They made my first time buying process as smooth as they could whether this was chasing solicitors or communicating with the vendor. 10th Jul 2024 (17 days ago)Absolutely first class from start to finish. We used them for both our mortgage and estate agents and were really responsive and helpful throughout. Steve took his time to explain all the mortgage products in language even I could understand. When there were bumps in the road from solicitors (as there always are) Justine and the rest of the estate agent team were able to talk to the solicitors on my behalf to keep things moving. The difference between the service I got from MMS estate agents and other firms I have used in the past is night and day. I never had to wait for more than an hour or so for a response to a query, as oppose to days and weeks elsewhere. It really shows that it is a family run business. Would give 6 stars if it were an option.

Whilst she was acting for the seller, she was able to help throughout the conveyancing process and proved to be a gateway between the parties. Always very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. I really big thank you for helping is buy the house of our dreams.

No pressure and tricks that some other agents use. He also helped us out with a few "moving in" formalities (which he didn't have to do), which we are grateful for. 25th Jun 2024 (5 weeks ago)We bought a property through Galloways and I has been an experience full of pressure. First of all, they sent someone to the property who does not know a single thing about the property. It seems she had to cover for his colleague, I don't blame her, but from the company side does not look great. During the offer process I could see how they were trying to milks us as much money as possible, they were describing it as "I tried to convince the owners", "I put a good word for you", BUT "we have more viewings", "you will loose the property etc... Clearly they did not put a good word because as soon as we did not want to give more money, they accepted in a matter of hours. They were just scheming how to take all the money the could. During the purchase process, they were calling ALL the time complaining about my solicitors, I felt forced to get involved when it was contrary to what my solicitors said. It is supposed to be a process managed between solicitors, but they had to even threat us with losing the property because our solicitor was not happy with their replies. Now at our property, we have seen there might be a mould issue and suddenly a hole in the floor. Our surveyor did not spot this, however, if this agency knew, they did not say anything. After speaking with several people (we are first time buyers) this is what all the state agents do, I guess we could consider they did what they were supposed to do.
