27th Apr 2026 (14 weeks ago)I was a tenant of Dockside Property services for two years. In that time, they charged me disgusting amounts for a check in fee, check out few, signing fee, if they had any involvement you better believe you'd pay for it. They also took 1.5 years of that two year tenancy to fit a bathroom extractor fan which was broken when I moved in, and that the previous tenant tried to get fixed. Every issue I ever raised was dealt with in a sluggish manner sadly - an online portal / report system can be as fancy as it wants - but it doesn't help unless you actually check it. They were also kind enough to charge us for additional cleaning of the property when we left it spotless - as well as trying to charge us £60 for replacing a piece of wood under the dishwasher that wasn't fitted back after repairs that they did. The reason it didn't fit was because the repair made the gap physically too small for the wood to fit in, so oddly enough I couldn't refit it, but somehow they didn't seem to understand that. Maybe they didn't do that "get the shape in the hole" game when they were younger. After explaining this they then doubled down on their stupidly and we disputed via the DPS, and they settled in our favour because I figure someone that works there actually has eyes / a basic understanding of shapes and measurements. Either way, I wouldn't rent from them again unless I had no other option. Oh, and if you're looking at renting 25 The Eye, the flats in Chatham, the hot water is basically non existant (unless you take 3 second showers), the washing machine is from the early 90's, rent is very high, you can hear every breath of your neighbours (above, on both sides and below) as well as the lovely potent smelling...."cigarettes" from those below 24/7 - and if you hear a scuttling in the night in the walls or see something dash across the kitchen floor, don't worry, that's just the rats from the bin store under the building. ??????

8th Jul 2026 (26 days ago)We’re currently going through the moving process with Mann Lettings in Chatham, and after using several letting agents over the years, they’ve been absolutely exceptional.<br><br>They’ve been honest, kept us informed every step of the way, and have always had the information we needed rather than leaving us chasing updates.<br><br>They’ve also been incredibly accommodating, allowing us to view the property again and measure up before moving in. With a toddler, being able to plan ahead has made such a huge difference to us.<br><br>Moving house can be stressful, but the team have made the whole experience feel so much easier. We genuinely couldn’t recommend them highly enough.<br><br>Thank you for all your help so far! ??????

Gary had been very supportive of seeing this process through which has been a long one, couple of times wanted to take it off the market but persuaded me to keep it on! Hannah and Jenny have both been fabulous for generating bookings during the viewings period. A thanks to Luke as well. Kim fantastic with the STC period helping with the complicated process of keeping everyone updated with progress and any information/ issues that occurred!<br>So thank you all very much and I’m sure you are all breathing a sigh of relief this one is in the bag ??????

He managed to get me to move in and worked his absolute hardest for me to be able to move in when I needed to. Absolutely fantastic service and consider anyone else that he isn’t taking care of lucky! Genuinely one of the best services I have received. Thank you for making my process less stressful and helping so much!!<br><br>Had a viewing with Harris today and he was extremely helpful! Answered all my questions and was able to help me decide on the apartment that I wanted. Made the viewing fun as well so made me more interested in renting with X1!! Overall great experience<br><br>Had a viewing with Alana, she was fantastic!! 17th Jul 2026 (17 days ago)Please stay clear of this company. They are highly unprofessional and have no desire to stand by their own terms and work in a smooth and timely manner. They do not stay updated on any progress when working through a purchase of a property and do not act as if they want to get to completion within their own 60-day terms. I had two occasions on the same property when a mortgage valuation was booked in, and the Jack Senior at Let Property assured me the first would be completed. Once no one turned up at the property to allow access for the valuation, it had to be rebooked, and when I spoke to Jack again he assured me 100% someone would be there. But again, when the valuer arrived at the property no one was there to allow access. Also during the process it would take days, sometimes a week, to get a simple bit of info or just a return call from Jack or anyone at Let Property. They set 60-day completion terms, which I was happy to work to and moved fast on my side, but when they constantly delayed things, it got to the point nothing was moving foward. On top of this, they take a reservation deposit and will not refund it has we are past the 60-day terms even with the delays being their own fault. I would highly recommend staying clear and using any other company. I have found Pure Investor to be very professional, helpful and hardworking to make sure both the seller and buyer are happy and continue to get things moving forward.
