29th Aug 2026 (19 days ago)Moat Housing did not take seriously my complaints about my next door neighbour harassing my cat for months back in 2023. Google would not let me post photos showing the state of my cat from July to December 2023 during which time the neighbour was intimidating him to get at me because she did not want me (and other neighbours) to walk on the communal grass behind the block of flats, so to put me off she targeted my innocent cat. My cat became terrified of her, only her and not other neighbours. I was forced to move out after just 11 months. The Moat Housing building in Tunbridge Wells where I lived looks like a Victorian prison. Moat did not maintain the building exterior in the 11 months I lived there. The communal areas were very depressing. Most also did not take seriously about an Asian neighbour male neighbour who came out wearing nothing but a piece of cloth.
27th Apr 2026 (20 weeks ago)I was a tenant of Dockside Property services for two years. In that time, they charged me disgusting amounts for a check in fee, check out few, signing fee, if they had any involvement you better believe you'd pay for it. They also took 1.5 years of that two year tenancy to fit a bathroom extractor fan which was broken when I moved in, and that the previous tenant tried to get fixed. Every issue I ever raised was dealt with in a sluggish manner sadly - an online portal / report system can be as fancy as it wants - but it doesn't help unless you actually check it. They were also kind enough to charge us for additional cleaning of the property when we left it spotless - as well as trying to charge us £60 for replacing a piece of wood under the dishwasher that wasn't fitted back after repairs that they did. The reason it didn't fit was because the repair made the gap physically too small for the wood to fit in, so oddly enough I couldn't refit it, but somehow they didn't seem to understand that. Maybe they didn't do that "get the shape in the hole" game when they were younger. After explaining this they then doubled down on their stupidly and we disputed via the DPS, and they settled in our favour because I figure someone that works there actually has eyes / a basic understanding of shapes and measurements. Either way, I wouldn't rent from them again unless I had no other option. Oh, and if you're looking at renting 25 The Eye, the flats in Chatham, the hot water is basically non existant (unless you take 3 second showers), the washing machine is from the early 90's, rent is very high, you can hear every breath of your neighbours (above, on both sides and below) as well as the lovely potent smelling...."cigarettes" from those below 24/7 - and if you hear a scuttling in the night in the walls or see something dash across the kitchen floor, don't worry, that's just the rats from the bin store under the building. ??????

She answered all of my questions and gave clear guidance on what the process would look like, and I left the viewing feeling like this was the right fit for me. Kirsty was equally helpful, keeping me updated throughout, and I was surprised at how quickly and efficiently everything came together. The professionalism in this office is unmatched compared to other letting agents I've dealt with in the past. Huge credit to this team.

Even though we had one fall through the team done their best to filter out tire kickers. Hopefully the sale completes as planned, would definitely recommend, I have now purchased and sold properties through different branches of RMJ .

I spent over an hour trying to get through on the phone, but nobody answered and I was left on hold.<br><br>I was allocated a parking space but was given a broken parking remote. I called to report the issue, but no one picked up, so I had to travel to the office in person. Unfortunately, I was simply given another remote that was also broken. No one had tested it beforehand, resulting in a completely unnecessary journey, wasted travel expenses and wasted time.<br><br>I also submitted the issue through the maintenance portal, but have received no response.<br><br>The lack of communication and basic customer service is extremely frustrating. I would expect much better management and support from a professional property management company.
