Even though they weren’t responsible for acting on our behalf, they were always happy to assist us with any queries, were easily contactable, kept us updated without us even asking, and supported us through the stress of it all. They are friendly, professional and put us at ease! We will definitely be using them once we are ready to sell ????

29th Nov 2023 (22 weeks ago)Wish I could leave no stars. Initially the agents were excellent, really good and told them so. However once I agreed to let the property and paid the deposit and 'arrangement fee' it went rapidly downhill. Due to issues that appear to be beyond their control, they let myself let a property that was not ready to be let. Despite myself emailing for updates the replies were slow and had to be chased continuously. In the end they admitted that the property should have not have been for let, they wasted 10 weeks of my time and effort, so I asked for my deposit to be returned and I asked and I asked again... eventually they returned it minus the 'arrangement fee'. The 'arranagement fee' was for them arranging for me to let the property from the landlord, this was a property by their own admission, should have not been for let... So I asked for teh 'arrangement fee' back, nothing... so I advised that I would be taking legal action against them To which I received this email, which is quite laughable... Really shocked at your approach. A simple email would have sufficed. We had incurred costs and this app fee is none refundable at stated, However under the circumstances we will refund the amount. Michael anyway guess what, they still didn't refund me. so basically it seems they are a bunch of con artists... so I have lodged a claim with the small claims court, reported them to trading standards for thei extremely poor service and judgement on letting a property that should NOT have been let, regarless of what the landlord may have said, what was the 'arrangement fee' for if they wer arranging for me to have a property that wasn't ready? surely it is part of thir job to check this out and if the landlord has mislead the agents, why on earth did they not do their own investigations? isn't that their job? appalling, also reported to the property ombudsman, they are not fit to run an agency.

1st Nov 2023 (6 mo. ago)Unfortunately the flats surrounding us are let by IPS. After contacting them three times over six months to cut back their Bush on the front yard which was nlocking the walkway, they finally came and sorted it, but left a giant bag of branches, leaves, and sticks in front of our flat, which were there for over two months. Not only this, but the bush was cut back to stumps, which looks hideous outside our flat... When they did collect the bag, they left behind hundreds of leaves which had now been dragged right across the front yard, and onto the street, leaving a mess which we will probably have to tidy ourselves... If being slow to react and pure laziness are traits you've always dreamt of in your landlord/estate agents, then IPS will definitely be ready to hear from you.

Drove 1 and a half hour all the way from to Lincoln to Derby, only to be told that landlord forgot about the viewing and is away with the keys so property is locked. Ridiculous service. Highly unprofessional. The guy wanted to show me the lifts and communal area which is a joke!
13th Apr 2024 (21 days ago)I felt we had a very rocky start with the main contractions dealing with leaving. I had to chase mostly for feed back on viewings and I never felt that communication was as it was promised in the beginning. It’s a difficult market so it’s hard to say what and how the flat would have sold price wise and time wise in a better market overall I would say average
26th Jul 2023 (9 mo. ago)Very negative experience with Halls and Benson. The house was up with them for 4 weeks in that time we never heard from them regarding anything and requested a sign to be put up outside the house and it never arrived after asking multiple times. The initial contract they tried to sign us up for was 6 months which is disgusting considering the lack of effort or energy they put in to at least try and sell the house.

The process was made easy during a difficult time by Paul and all of his team. When I look back at the 2 1/2 years that we worked with these people I cannot think of a single thing to raise as a negative …… the team at George Edwards are helpful, professional , thorough , honest and excellent value for money. If you are reading this pondering the question of who to engage for your property needs it’s simple. … these guys are the best!!! Thank you Paul and your team

We were doubtful as heard this before and the house had been on the market for over a year. Well less then two weeks an offer was in and the house is sold. would highly recommend Mark and also Agency UK to anyone trying to sell in this tough market

From the start they were very professional with excellent communication throughout the process. They did a great job with the marketing of my property and generated lots of interest and viewings.
