21st Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)Theano is an amazing asset to the team at west Bridgford she has assisted me in every request no matter how big or small and always checks in to make sure things are running smoothly, can not say a bad word about the new team in west bridgford! 10/10 for care and support feel well looked after in my rented property and I feel extremely at ease knowing Theano and the team have my back! Thank you for such amazing work and such friendly and polite communications. Best service I’ve had since moving in back in 2016 can’t fault you and your team.
1st Aug 2022 (1 year ago)Rented from saints for 2 years and they were awful - impossible to get hold of and very slow at responding to urgent queries such as having a broken boiler. I don't know why they exist other than to take more money off tenants - I can't imagine anything would have been different if we had cut them out the equation dealt directly with the landlord, other than that we would have been financially better off. I've heard that some of the staff I dealt with have left the company since then but I would still advise against renting through this agent.
27th Mar 2024 (30 days ago)I have used Cavendish to rent my flat out since 2009. They have always found me good tenants, kept me informed of any repairs that need doing (so my flat has always been kept in excellent condition) and I have had very few periods without rent coming in. I also used them to sell my flat and again, I couldn't fault their service. Their communication is excellent, particularly Sam Barker. I would highly recommend both to rent and sell.
28th Mar 2024 (29 days ago)Im giving 4 stars because i moved into the apartment 3 days ago and there were sone issues with the place i called everyone from the agency but they keep me waiting but then I got into contact with Heather Elder she sorted out everything on the very same day and took care of everything.

Complete time wasters incapable of sticking to a diary or communicating. If simple things like a viewing are a chore to this agent what will the complete experience be like. I dare not find out. Thanks for wasting our time.

Will not be dealing with BE again- 20th Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)really BAD service? took half year to fix a washing machine.And they missed up on the key return date, try to get one night deposit deduction. So Unprofessional!

9th Apr 2024 (17 days ago)If I could give a lower rating I would. To start, for the year+ we lived in a property rented via Rex gooding we lived in damp, that bad I became ill and had to visit my GP costing time out side of work. When we tried to raise this with them it was brushed of or they would send a ‘handy man’ to simply ‘look’ at the problem NOTHING was resolved and told to just clean it! They sent a team to fit an extractor fan for the bathroom but then we discovered 9 months down the line they had decided to pull out of that. There ‘inspections’ are someone Turing up and taking pictures of the house and leaving, completing ignore the black walls from damp. We were told that our emails would be passed to the correct account holder for our property, Stewart, and they would contact us. He never did. When we decide to leave the property due to health reason, this experience was disgusting. We left the property in better condition than when we arrived and was faced with a battle to get our deposit back which was £900+. I have only just received it back and we have been out of the property 6 weeks! When I contacted Rex Gooding they were not at all helpful, I was told it was not there problem and they couldn’t do anything about it and that it’s with DPS to sort. Even though they were the ones who could not contact the landlord to request it back, when I asked to speak to Stewart he always seemed to going out and would call me back, he never did, therefore I had to chase them and he would not want to talk to me. In the end I had to go legal to get my deposit back. I would avoid this agency at all costs!! Photos of the damp attached.

My housemates and I had the absolute worst experience with them in our second year. we are all International students who knew very little about tenancies in the UK to which we were taken advantage of. They are extremely slow and negligent to responding to emails which has cost us legal claims in default against us. The landlord could not care less and is very aggressive with his approach to any circumstance. Imagine being charged 65 pounds for apparent "Cello tape marks". Our deposits aren't completely protected which they lied to us about and breached multiple rules. When confronted about this, they never discussed this topic or disappeared. We have been trying to fight Tomlinson since months now due to their slow and negligent deposits team which has cost us legal charges to which they have "no control over". The landlord refused to talk to us directly and only through Tomlinson which makes them responsible for any action taken to which they refuse to take accountibility for. Funny, ain't it? For them definitely because they do not have to be paying absurd amounts to solicitors and courts. PLS AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS I BEG YOU. There are much better agencies in Nottingham like Student Cribs or even Purple Frog.

Choosing City Lettings is a decision you'll likely regret, for the following reasons: - Terrible landlord behaviour - Refusing to give back your deposit - Ignored communications - Unsafe living conditions We faced numerous red flags even before moving in (August 2022): - No valid EICR provided - Illegible gas safety certificate, indicating a failed test - Unsigned documents - Poor communication from agency which constantly required us to push for answers Then upon moving in, the house was in dismal condition: - Previous tenants had access due to unreturned keys, posing a security risk, the letting agency DIDN'T bother to check if all keys had been returned - Broken washing machine (pictures attached) - Exposed wiring and displaced plug sockets - Filthy premises; landlord promised but failed to deliver a professional deep clean Our experience got EVEN WORSE over time: Garage Rented Out: Without prior notice, our landlord rented out the garage. We were constantly disturbed by the garage tenant needing access to our basement. Unexpected Renovation: Landlord decided to renovate the kitchen in the middle of our lease. Promised a "few days to a week" timeline; took 3 weeks. Unannounced Entries: Landlord entered the property without prior notification multiple times. As of now, our deposit has not been returned in full, despite leaving the property in a better state. Both the agency and landlord are ignoring our communications about it. Reasoning for the deposit not being returned in its full amount? The Washing Machine and Dryer supposedly being broken. It was working completely fine before we left - the issue with the machine is supposedly a technical fault, which means the landlord doesn't have grounds to deduct from our deposit. The extremely dodgy invoice used as supposed 'evidence' for the faults, conveniently is dated AFTER his initial claims about their being faults with these appliances. TLDR: AVOID THIS AGENCY.

Chantelle and her team from the Beeston Office have been super efficient, excellent in communication and very accommodating to my needs. I can only recommend!
