James took care of everything, and my house was rented out within days of being placed on the market. Can not recommend Martin & Co or James Elvin enough, absolute pleasure to deal with.

19th Oct 2025 (28 days ago)I would not recommend renting from Tullys based on my experience as a student tenant. From the day we moved in, the property was in unacceptable condition — the fridge, hob, and oven were not functioning, two out of three beds were mouldy and broken, and the house was far from clean despite being advertised as professionally cleaned. Throughout our 11-month tenancy, we experienced numerous serious issues including sewage coming up through the shower, mice infestations, and long periods without hot water. We also reported a strong gas smell multiple times and were repeatedly told there was no issue — until the emergency gas service was called and confirmed there was in fact a gas leak. Many of these problems took months to be resolved, and the overall standard of maintenance, cleanliness, and management was extremely poor. Despite leaving the property in a much better condition than when we moved in, Tullys still attempted to make unfair deductions from our deposit. Overall, my experience was highly disappointing, and I would strongly advise students and other renters to look elsewhere for accommodation.

I had to write this review as I was so impressed with the dedication and professionalism of Peter George who handled the letting of our most recent let, punctual, polite, very helpful and always responded straight away to any questions. The initial valuation was realistic, the marketing approach sensible and productive and the advice on other professional contacts very helpful. Their local knowledge was strong and very helpful. I was particularly pleased that Fry & Kent did not try to oversell the property but pitched it in a way that brought good viewings and achieved a good offer quickly. Their help on tying down an agreed price was very professional. Throughout the subsequent process through to completion I was kept well informed and administrative and practical issues were dealt with quickly and effectively. I would strongly recommend Fry & Kent for their market knowledge, their sales professionalism and their administration support. Very good and enjoyable to work with.

3rd Sep 2025 (11 weeks ago)My elderly mother recently purchased a property through Cubitt & West, in what became quite a drawn out process due to the nature of the property and the onward chain. Throughout the whole experience, C&W kept us informed, ensured solicitors were acting as quickly as possible, and liaised with the vendors diplomatically. Special mention to all at the Southsea branch for the viewings and repeat visits prior to exchange, and particular mention must go to Julie B for keeping up the momentum and ensuring the sale progressed - an absolute star and a real pleasure to deal with, in what could have been a very stressful situation for my mother. Highly recommended and, most importantly, thank you!

We had a bit of a short timeline as we offered on a house before we sold, but Blue did an amazing job managing to sell and guide us through the process with ease. Gave them a quick call and they laid out loads of solid investment options with proper returns, not the usual fluff you get from other places. They know their market inside out and make it really easy to compare deals. If you’re into building long-term income, these guys are definitely worth speaking to.
