29th Feb 2024 (21 weeks ago)I had a viewing scheduled with this estate agent today, and although they confirmed the appointment a few hours beforehand, their communication and accessibility were disappointing. When I requested the agent's mobile number in case I couldn't find her during the appointment, she refused to provide it, stating that I must contact the office first, who would then contact her and relay the message back to me. In this digital age, it's unreasonable for an estate agent not to have a business mobile number for direct communication. Despite charging hefty fees for their services, they seem unwilling to invest in basic conveniences for their clients.

26th Jun 2024 (4 weeks ago)This is an innovative estate agency focussing on houses and flats in waterfront locations - typically in marinas on the south coast of England. The staff are very attentive and on the ball. The brochure produced was of a very high standard. Not only was a buyer found very quickly but also support services for getting the house ready to show were offered. The feed back during the sale was focussed and relevant. The intelligence gleaned about the chain was very useful in assessing the viability of the people expressing an interest in terms of likelihood of a offer to buy reaching a successful completion. Waterside properties and properties in marina developments which come with moorings for boats come with interesting challenges of their own and this business understands the market inside out.

20th Mar 2024 (18 weeks ago)If you can help it, don't use this agency. The first week I moved in, the fridge broke and all my food went bad - when I reported this and a shower problem to one of the staff, I was told in a rude tone that "I shouldn't complain since these things happen" despite the fact that they had time to fix these issues before I moved in as no one had been living there for some time. I rented a property through them for 3 years, and throughout that time the building had leak issues, including damp, mould and others. At one point it was essentially niagra falls coming through a leak in the front room which damaged a part of the room. Throughout a year and a half, I consistently emailed/contacted about this problem. It took me threatening to not pay rent before something was done, otherwise I was essentially left to deal with it which was particularly hard through winter. There was maybe one member of staff who was genuinely helpful, but trying to get consistent contact was difficult. The other staff didn't always respond, or else ignored messages I sent. Despite being a consistent paying tenant, I was eventually kicked out as a new landlord had bought the property and clearly wanted to rent out the flats for a much higher rate, which I don't think would be worth it considering the level of damage the building has. Unprofessional, at times rude, unhelpful and don't care about your wellbeing so long as they get paid.

9th Jul 2024 (18 days ago)Samara has been wonderful from the start.She kindly waited and rearranged a viewing for us on the same day when we were late for the appointment.She was very friendly, approachable,helpful and very proffesional and answered all of our questions during the viewing.since our viewing she has been available and returned our calls promptly.The experience has been stress free and efficient. The whole process from viewing the property to acceptance of our offer took 3 days. I recommend Cubitt&West if you are buying a property. We had a great experience. Thank you for a wonderful service.

15th Feb 2024 (23 weeks ago)DO NOT USE THIS UNETHICAL COMPANY! THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF! They took a deposit from my company, then changed the rules, forcing us to withdraw, and refused to give us our money back! They treat customers like enemies. They wouldn't even speak to us! STEER CLEAR! AWFUL STAFF, AWFUL OWNER, AWFUL COMPANY. The reply below is untrue. They knew it was a company let. I wasn't rude to staff. I just asked for a refund, so they said "don't speak to us again". Their idea of a compromise is all one sided. They hide behind their Ts & Cs and have zero empathy with customers. STEER CLEAR, they are trouble! It is them who are unpleasant! Just look at all the bad reviews!

He knew the local solicitors and kept me upto date with the progress before my own solicitor advised me. He allowed me to view the property as many times as I wanted and never made me feel a nuisance…. Which I think I was … Thank you Tim as you made the purchase of my new property as stress free as possible

Jules & James were also great with the progression, ensuring both sides were chased up constantly to apply the pressure needed to ensure the sale progressed very quickly. Thank you all for your help. We now have our new home in time for summer which we are really thankful for!
