The Lettings Manager Sonia was very knowledgeable and came with a vast amount of expert advice. I couldn't recommend her enough to any landlord needing an agent they can trust."
29th Sep 2024 (24 days ago)The agents are incredibly helpful and friendly. Renting a flat for the first time can be a daunting and exhausting process, especially for someone like me who is new to the UK. However, this company made the experience much smoother and stress-free.
2nd Oct 2024 (21 days ago)I would strongly advice anybody from using this letting agency. They put my rent up 3 x in 18 months by £175 WITHOUT the landlord knowing who is actually disgusted with them herself . Because of this I've handed in my months notice and Northwood are trying every trick in the book not to refund my rent owed and deposit. Do not rent from northwood

2nd Oct 2024 (21 days ago)I have dealt with Bridgfords a few times now and Lyndsy has been really good to deal with ever time. Very knowledgeable and gets things done prompt and always there on the phone to help with any questions. Would happily use them again and will be doing.

They really showed that they were looking out for their client, going the extra mile to ensure that things outside the scope of work but important to their client were taken care of. This, for me, shows the human side of service management. Well done, guys!
2nd Oct 2024 (21 days ago)Very good service received from the Moving Works team although we didn’t manage to get a sale within the 16 week contract. The staff at MW have been so friendly and have worked well with us and for us to help secure a sale. We reluctantly have taken our property off the market for personal reasons but do believe that the MW team were doing all possible to secure a sale. Fully recommended for all the right reasons.
24th Sep 2024 (29 days ago)Keenans Estate Agents were recommended by a friend who had just sold with them. We booked an appointment for a valuation. George arrived on time. He was friendly and knowledgeable about properties and their value. He suggested a price & said he was confident that we would achieve the asking price as there was nothing locally that offered what our property had. We went into their Accrington shop to see if the rest of the staff were as good as George. They were very good so we signed to put our property on the market straight away. A nice young man came to take photos within a few days. We left viewings to their staff. A bloke called Chris showed people round , and then he gave us feedback. Our property sold straightway for the full asking price. We were then transfered to Kieran in the conveyancing team. Keiran rang to introduce himself & he explained that not a lot happens for several weeks, then it was about 6 weeks before we started getting intermittent updates on the sale progress. Around week 9 we received more regular updates . We had left a few messages but didnt not receive call backs. On week 12 there was a miscommunication so we went into the shop to speak to Keiran in person. We were not happy that our calls had not been returned. Keiran apologised & said that he had not received the messages. He went to the trouble of ringing our buyers solicitor and sorting out the issue immediately and managed to secure a promise to exchange contracts that week. We have been very pleased with Keenans estate agents from the first enquiry as to their services to completion on week 14. They are a young , enthusiastic team who certainly know how to sell a property. We would highly recommend Keenans Estate Agent services in Accrinton.

17th Oct 2024 (6 days ago)As soon as I contacted Matt at Price & Co ( having been let down by another agent in Leigh), they filled me with confidence. Within a couple of days, they had viewed the property and given me an assessment of the rental value and their charges and the process. They have been extremely helpful in arranging remedial works on my behalf and securing a tenant. They carried out all of the necessary vetting and proposed the most suitable tenant. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to any landlord. Matt and Holly have been fantastic.

18th Mar 2024 (7 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
10th Oct 2024 (13 days ago)It had been an absolute pleasure purchasing our next home in Adlington via Redman Casey. The Redman Casey team were very friendly to work with and professional. From the moment of having our first viewing, right through to communicating with the Sales Negotiator, the process has been a very smooth and professional experience. A special thanks to Kath Green who was our main point of contact through the sales process. The viewings with both David and Sean were also great, the team were very friendly and welcoming. For comparison, we had enquired about a different property on the same estate but with a different estate agent (**esters) and our experience with Redman Casey was by far a much better experience. Thanks again to the team (Kath , David, Sean, & Janet) for your support and for the lovely gift to get us started! 5 Stars for the team! ?

5th Jul 2024 (16 weeks ago)BE VERY CAREFUL!!! Once these lot have your deposit they ignore you. We agreed to buy a buy to let from these and went through the mortgage application with our own agent. We then found out they had overvalued thr property by a fair amount, not allowing us to get a mortgage. We were then told we had to use their mortgage person, which cost us another £300 but we had no option. They also could not get us a mortgage because the value was less than 50k. Upon telling these lot, they are now ignoring our calls, you can't speak to the refund team as only on email, no managers have phones and they won't give us our deposit back even though it states we are entitled to it back for following their stipulations. I'm no being ignored by the salesman Jack and no one will return emails etc. I will be taking this to the Ombudsman too, to highlight this appalling service and blatant overvalued to gain mortgage applicants. They had the same listing on their site for £52,500 and £46,000. We found this after we had agreed a price. So be very careful not to deal with these people. They are rude and have total lack of customer service once they have your deposit. Zero stars from me!!!

This is not the case with Winnard. Professional at every interaction. Feels like renting a prestige property from a prestige company.
