13th Apr 2024 (14 days ago)I found tiger estates to be the worst company I have ever dealt with. The only decent part of their job was the photographs they took of the property. They lied to cover up their incompetence and failings,and didn't provide any kind of service whatsoever.No response to emails or phone calls as promised.Viewings were done by me as they didn't have staff available to conduct viewings at weekends or evenings!! I found the buyer myself and she will verify how dreadful tiger have been.It has been a very traumatic experience for me and I would certainly not recommend them to anyone.

13th Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)I have used Burns & Reid Ltd for the past 4 years (tenant), and they're fantastic, especially Chris! Really prompt in replying to emails and returning missed calls. Nothing was ever too much trouble and overall I couldn't be happier with their service. Would recommended 100%
8th Apr 2024 (19 days ago)The flats I visited before moving in looked perfect, with brand new carpet and freshly painted walls. However, my experience after moving in was far from ideal. The boiler stopped working, and I had to endure almost a week without hot water or heating for me and my toddler. It was challenging to bear the cold weather without heating, and we had to rely on electric heaters to keep ourselves warm. In addition to the boiler issue, the kitchen boards were falling, which posed a safety hazard to my son. I reported this issue to the agent, and it took them over a week to fix it. The delay in fixing this issue was frustrating. At one point, the agent accused me of staying in the bathroom too long, causing the water to get cold. This confused me because it was just me and my son, and we only used the bathroom briefly. Despite explaining my situation to the agent, they did not take me seriously, and it felt like they thought I was making up the issue. After experiencing intermittent heating and hot water, a new boiler was installed, which seemed relief. However, a new issue with the pipes responsible for producing hot water arose, resulting in me heating the house but still taking cold showers in winter. Despite raising these concerns periodically, no one seemed to take them seriously, leading them to believe I was either fabricating problems or being dishonest. Furthermore, I reported a leak in the sink and an unstable toilet seat to the agent, but they did not believe my claims. After a week, they did send a plumber to fix the sink and toilet seat, but no one called me to inform me that they were coming. This was frustrating as I had to stay home and wait for them to finish. Overall, my experience with the flats was disappointing. It felt like the agent did not care about the tenants. Once I moved in, it seemed like they did not take my concerns seriously, and it was disheartening. I hope that in the future, the agents will prioritise the safety and well-being of their tenants.

The photographs and virtual tour of the property were exceptional the best ones out there where comparing to other agents. For Sale sign up immediately and supported very well with sale negotiation. Estimated value of property spot on. Sold within one weekm

28th Nov 2023 (22 weeks ago)Chris and his team Jade and Elaine have been absolutely fantastic. They have been the most professional estate agents I have EVER come across (rented a lot in the past. They are easily contactable and have always addressed any issue I have had, promptly and efficiently. They made the whole process of moving easy and were very helpful! They are also extremely friendly and the check out process was smooth and they were very fair. Regretfully I have had to move however, given the chance, I would definitely rent or even buy with them in the future. Thank you Chris and team!

The communication has been spot on. The valuation was realistic, and in that respect they feel like an ethical agency to work with.

From start to finish, they have been great with communication, prompt and unreal with my 100s of questions. The whole process has been stress free for us as they have dealt with everything on point. Francesca has been dealing with our case mainly from the initial viewing to the final process, and words cannot express how thankful we are! Not only friendly, but very quick with responses and dealt with everything for us. She was there when we had questions and never made us feel out of the loop. Thank you once again. Will definitely be using in the future when their services are needed.

From the moment I placed my Enquiry on their website, the team (Lyndsy, Katie and Adrian) has been proactive, friendly and helpful. Adrian, one of the letting negotiators who I have been communicating with has been helpful, patient and professional. He has helped me with all the questions and concerns I have had. The team certainly has the knowledge in what they are doing. Thank you.

Their local knowledge and use of social media helped to get us a quick sale at the best possible price. With great communication and lots of advice on our purchase as well, they helped to make the process as smooth as possible. This is a family run business who are easy to deal with and offer a great service to their clients.

18th Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

He has been superb in the sale of our house and went above and beyond to ensure that our sale went ahead. From the beginning to the end he has had a positive outlook. On our viewings he was bright and bubbly and ensured that the viewers were made aware of the benefits of our property,. When we eventually agreed a sale we had a long process due to the fact that the buyers held up matters, however Rhys would always be pressing to try and speed up the process and always kept us up to date and informed. At one stage our buyer went abroad, Rhys was on calls to our buyer at 1030 at night trying to deal with their queries in an attempt to push our sale through. We can’t thank Rhys enough for what he did for us. He is a real credit to his trade and we would throughly recommend using him to friends and family. Again thank you Rhys Henry
3rd Apr 2024 (24 days ago)I was extremely pleased from start to finish with the way Lune Valley Estates dealt with the sale of my mother's house. Their knowledge of the local area was excellent, the team is very responsive and their advice was spot on: the house sold very quickly for a good price and they made what could have been a stressful process as easy as it could be. I would not hesitate to recommend them.
