30th Jan 2020 (4 years ago)Martyn was very helpful upon my move in and viewing. However when it was time for me to move out, they withheld some of my deposit money because the property wasn't clean enough. I didn't complain when upon my move in the floor was as dirty as the grount outside, but now I got charged money because I didn't clean? They even provided pictures about how it wasn't "clean". There was no dirt on the pictures.
6th Mar 2019 (5 years ago)WORST AGENCY in Reading, First they charge commission for every service, but their after service is very poor. They don't treat their customers nicely at all, Also once you check out the property they will charge plenty of amount randomly which is non deniable. They will charge you with check out charge, even if the room is clean they charge minimum of 50GBP. They will harass and take a lot of money once you check out. I paid 81GBP FOR THIS ATTACHED BELOW. THEY WILL CHARGE BUT THEY WILL NOT CLEAN OR PROVIDE THAT SERVICE TO THEIR NEXT CUSTOMER.

7th Mar 2024 (10 mo. ago)One month after moving, giving myself time to reflect and consider before writing this review: Dennis, Julie and the team proved to be absolutely amazing throughout the whole process of selling our Crowthorne home, pretty much managing the entire transaction, liasing frequently and closely with ourselves, our solicitors, our sellers estate agents and our buyers estate agents with warmth, compassion, assertive patience, diligence and professionalism. I can think of no criticism, constructive or otherwise, to offer (or cast) and I believe our buyers have experienced the same. Nor am I aware of anyone that I've discussed our move with that has had an experience that has come close. I have, I am and I shall continue to recommend them wholeheartedly.

If you are looking for an estate agent, I would highly recommend Andrew and his team for their professionalism, honesty and integrity.
28th Aug 2024 (20 weeks ago)Michael Flatman has helped me with four transactions over the last 12 years including purchasing and selling and I cannot recommend him highly enough. He is honest, realistic, efficient and simply brilliant at negotiating with all involved to make sure sales go through smoothly. He has also helped me with finding tenants and setting up tenancies and has always been available to help with any queries and gives excellent advice. Above all, Michael is such a nice person, you won’t find any estate agent like him! Thoroughly recommend.
5th Sep 2024 (19 weeks ago)From day 1 we had a large number or viewings all communicated promptly with dates and times. Feedback from viewers was always communicated well. Harry strived to achieve the best purchase price possible for us. Special mention to Matthew as well who photographed our house and helped us with the process. All at Parkers, Reading have provided an amazing service to make our sale as painless as possible.
15th Sep 2022 (2 years ago)!! Avoid them at any cost !! They are the most unorganised, unprofessional and the rudest agency I have ever been with, they have left us without a shower for over 3 months, the lied about the property being professionally cleaned, all they care about is money! Lesley and Rob their head of lettings are the people that we have been dealing with, Rob was lying through his teeth to get us into the property, these people don’t have any respect for their tenants! And now since we left the property they are causing so many issues it’s actually an utter joke.

29th Oct 2024 (11 weeks ago)We recently sold through Beville’s and they were great from start to finish. The team are all extremely knowledgeable about the local area and market. Their communication was honest, transparent and yet friendly throughout. Richard, Marcus and Karen were excellent at driving our sale forward, whilst professionally managing our expectations. I would 100% recommend team Beville.
28th Jun 2021 (3 years ago)Property was grubby when we moved in (other peoples things left in the property like clothes etc.). We were fine tenants for almost 2 years but as time went on more and more issues with the property. The issues often took very long to get any response on (apparently due to the landlord not getting back to the agency). The windows did not open and we were told only one could be fixed for the moment as it was expensive (in a one sided ventilated property). We also had a huge leak with water pouring through which needed redecorating the painter came and told us he had been told to just "patch it up" and not redecorate the huge stains properly. We gave notice and only then the suddenly emailed and asked if they completed all the works we had been asking for for months would we consider staying in the property (to which we politely declined). We also had issues with neighbors and our emails were often ignored. To top this off they tried charging us over £100 for a "professional clean" at the end of tenancy even though it was left spotless (and in a much better condition than we were handed it in) - I disputed it and suddenly the charge was removed. The lady we dealt with was rude and unprofessional (in agreement with a previous review here). Interestingly the bad reviews seem to have been deleted recently. Watch out for them - wouldn`t recommend.
26th May 2022 (2 years ago)The unique service offered by Griffin has enabled me to complete a DIY sale of my home on the Internet using national property sale platforms as if I was the website. I listed my property at 8am and by 9.30am on the same day I was receiving emails from potential purchaser's. I well know the power of the Internet, but even I was surprised by the speed of it all. The Griffin team have the power to listen and assist you, I wish to thank the person at Griffin who originated this professional service and his team for doing a great job. If I ever need to sell a home in future I will immediately use the Griffin service and have been recommending them to family and friends. Thank you.

His agency stands out from the rest due to his highly personal service; we spoke with or saw only him so felt super confident he was fully engaged and invested in our sale at all times. His comms were also excellent, as were his problem-solving skills and professional partners. The photography was outstanding, with much thought taken in both the planning and execution. Highly recommended!
31st Jul 2024 (24 weeks ago)Our overall experience with Bettermove is one of disappointment. They sold a model whereby they would market our property to their pool of investors. Essentially they put our house on Rightmove for a slightly higher price then they said they would pay us and left it there. I had to chase for updates and when they responded it was to say that their investors thought the price was an issue! So why didnt you speak to us about that and say what we thought to reducing. I dont actually think they've got investors, just people who want a cash purchase in certain areas. Fortunately we didn't pay Bettermove any money for their services and we ended the contract as soon as we could
11th Oct 2024 (13 weeks ago)I would give 0 stars at this point moved in before Christmas and we still haven’t been told rent or any bills what so ever which is gonna leave anyone in debt who lives here aswell every tenant in my building is unhappy with the service of galaxy the building is amazing but the service help and staff is utterly awful also not to mention the fact that when I was calling 35mins before they shut there was 2 staff members in there and they were ignoring the phone absolutely disgusting and disrespectful be careful choosing these guys don’t get stuck in the same situation as myself UPDATE: they finally gave us our bills and its left us in thousands of pounds worth of debt also we have a broken dishwasher that we are trying to get fixed they gave us an appointment which we had to stay in the whole day and they didn't turn up and now when i call back they just keep saying they have forwarded the message onto the right people and they will not give us a contact number to the repair people !!! They seem to have a lack of communication and seem unprofessional in a lot of matters that we call them about getting very frustrated !!!
