Even after renting, he has been so responsive whenever I needed him and always helped me when I had questions or issues with the property. Highly recommend working with him!

He was incredibly responsive, always quick with communication, and consistently kind and professional throughout the whole process. Nick arranged multiple viewings for me, we viewed the property three times, and he was patient and helpful every step of the way. His support made the buying process much smoother and far less stressful. I would highly recommend Nick to anyone looking for a reliable and dedicated agent.

5th Feb 2026 (6 days ago)Great experience with our agent Wiktoria from Duncan Yardley. She helped us secure a viewing of the property and also spoke to the landlord to allow my wife to view it online, which really helped us make a confident decision. Wiktoria clearly explained the entire process, supported us in making an offer, and successfully got it accepted. We’re now in the process of completing the paperwork and hoping to move into our new home by summer. Thank you, Wiktoria and the Duncan Yardley team, for all your support throughout the journey.
23rd Dec 2025 (7 weeks ago)Property is great, but whenever we experience a problem or issue, it always takes months to fix it or at least weeks to even get a response. I'm still waiting on my wardrobe door to be fixed that broke in September. I message them via WhatsApp asking for updates and can see that they have seen the messages but they don't reply back.
28th Jan 2026 (14 days ago)Rob experienced and focused with very ckear effective plan. He said he would market and get buyer within 2-3 weeks maximum and he sold it in two. All the paperwork came in quickly. Tge best!

7th Feb 2026 (4 days ago)I would just like to take a moment to thank Benjamin Green, senior sales consultant at Romans Reading, for the way he has gone about dealing with the sale of our rental property in Caversham. We are extremely pleased that Ben has managed to get a sale moving incredibly quickly (within a week once we committed). However, it isn't just the sales ability which has impressed us; it is that he is easy to chat to, courteous, knows his subject, listens to our opinions, offers good advice and never forgets to answer a phone call or message, which has left the greater impression. This gives us confidence that as stressful as selling a house can be, we are in good hands, and can be sure that the sale process will go as smoothly as these things can go. Thanks again, Ben, we look forward to working with you towards finalising the sale. On the same subject, I would also like to take the opportunity to thank Megan Edmunds, the property manager for the last several years, for her oversight of the property and her assistance with this sale. They have always provided a first class service whether it be selling a property or the renting out and management of my properties. A special mention must go to James Hathaway and his team and Trudy Zemaitis. They are both rockstars !! Cannot recommend enough.

22nd Dec 2025 (7 weeks ago)We recently bought our house from Farmer and Dyer and they were excellent in particular Simon. We had some uncertainty through the chain and he consistently went above and beyond to help even though this wasn’t his property but others in the chain. He always was responsive, proactive and made time to help and I think the main reason that everything worked out was because of him. Couldn’t recommend him and Farmer and Dyer enough!
12th Nov 2025 (13 weeks ago)Previously left a good review because we managed to find a house and the estate agent Mr Khan specifically requested us to leave a good review for him. Have changed it because as actual tenants of the house, when they were organizing house viewings, the first 2 times they came for house viewings with NO PRIOR warning, which is a breach of contract. They then solved the bug in their system, and proceeded not to come to for the allocated time they emailed us with, which is not a direct breach of contract, but was very unprofessional. These were the 3 times where Mr Khan came in for house viewings technically without prior warning, while the other agencies coming for house viewings were able to inform us appropriately and WITHIN the contract. Mr Khan then proceeded to say that he wanted to stop advertising the house altogether because he knew that we would "kick a fuss". But we feel that the actions we took were professional and necessary where we informed them in person and emphasized the severity accordingly as they were clearly breaching the contract. Overall, great for prospective tenants, but horrible for actual tenants.

18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

I’d like to say a big thank you to John and team for all their effort’s in navigating us through what is already a stressful situation but was made worse by the solicitors (please only use recommended solicitors firms). I am grateful for the teams' patience and for not chasing us every 5 minutes like the previous agents (Hun***s). Thank you once again! Wishing the firm the very best.

20th Jan 2026 (22 days ago)Me and my sister went to Coopers after a really bad experience with another agency in Maidenhead, when we were selling a property there as executors. David Head, Ella and the whole team were knowledgeable, attentive, quick, helpful and professional. Not only did they have a number of interested parties to view the property from the get go, they completed the sale quickly and efficiently. My experience of estate agents on the whole has not been good and Coopers broke the mold! Thank you!
