30th Jan 2020 (4 years ago)Martyn was very helpful upon my move in and viewing. However when it was time for me to move out, they withheld some of my deposit money because the property wasn't clean enough. I didn't complain when upon my move in the floor was as dirty as the grount outside, but now I got charged money because I didn't clean? They even provided pictures about how it wasn't "clean". There was no dirt on the pictures.
1st Nov 2022 (1 year ago)We have had dealings with Woodleys Estate Agents over a number of years both selling and buying of properties, as well as renting. The service, communication and advice they have always given us has been excellent. In particular Mark, Mike and Gareth who were totally on top of negotiations and efficient in deputising for each other when required. All In all this company and its employees acted both professionally and honest with us at all times. They were a pleasure to work with and we can 100% recommend them. In addition we rented a property out through Woodleys with Aidan representing us, who likewise had very high professional standards and guided us through the whole process from advertising to selecting a tenant. Again we recommend this side of the business too. Mark, Mike, Gareth and Aiden are a credit to Woodleys and clearly showed integrity and professionalism throughout our dealings with them, but we also had a good many funny moments and laughter en route. 27th Oct 2021 (2 years ago)Shut two afternoons in a row with no notice, no info on website, just a handwritten sign in the door. Can't collect Amazon parcels, make PayPoint payments etc as a result. At least keep customers informed online and also inform Amazon so customers don't keep on trying to get items delivered there when the delivery driver can't gain access.

28th Jun 2021 (2 years ago)Property was grubby when we moved in (other peoples things left in the property like clothes etc.). We were fine tenants for almost 2 years but as time went on more and more issues with the property. The issues often took very long to get any response on (apparently due to the landlord not getting back to the agency). The windows did not open and we were told only one could be fixed for the moment as it was expensive (in a one sided ventilated property). We also had a huge leak with water pouring through which needed redecorating the painter came and told us he had been told to just "patch it up" and not redecorate the huge stains properly. We gave notice and only then the suddenly emailed and asked if they completed all the works we had been asking for for months would we consider staying in the property (to which we politely declined). We also had issues with neighbors and our emails were often ignored. To top this off they tried charging us over £100 for a "professional clean" at the end of tenancy even though it was left spotless (and in a much better condition than we were handed it in) - I disputed it and suddenly the charge was removed. The lady we dealt with was rude and unprofessional (in agreement with a previous review here). Interestingly the bad reviews seem to have been deleted recently. Watch out for them - wouldn`t recommend.
4th Sep 2021 (2 years ago)Northwood have been spectacular in their client care and effort to avoiding the collapse of our sale. They have gone to great lengths to keep communication frequent and clear between all parties involved. Could not recommend them any more than I already do.

They've kept me in touch with what's going on behind the scenes, so to speak. Overall, I'm very happy. The only downside is the costs are high. But I don't have anything to compare it too. ???? I'm also buying a property through them,so they're working on my behalf there also.

(33 reviews)2nd Aug 2023 (9 mo. ago)We were looking for a property in Earley/lower Earley We came across many agents however for this particular property which was marketed by Whiteknights, we met their estate agent Amilcar who understood our situation and was very helpful and quick to get us not only the landlord approval and then the tenancy process started. I found Amilcar very helpful and understanding and at the same time Very professional and doing all the checks very thoroughly One particular agent in the area is asking more rent than what is marketed and is starting a price war Based on my recent experience I will recommend Whiteknights and Especially Amilcar

I wanted to schedule a viewing for the week but only one person was able to show the house who wasn't available at the time we requested. I've made 3 attempts to now contact this individual and they have still not replied or returned my phonecall. Disgusting service. Renting property shouldn't be this hard.
