11th Sep 2024 (6 mo. ago)WORST COMPANY IN THE WORLD I BOOKED AN APARTMENT THEN THE LANDLORD CHANGES IT AFTER I HAVE PAID BOOKING FEE NOW IM STRUGGLING TO GET A REFUND THIS IS NOT ON PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY
6th Mar 2019 (6 years ago)WORST AGENCY in Reading, First they charge commission for every service, but their after service is very poor. They don't treat their customers nicely at all, Also once you check out the property they will charge plenty of amount randomly which is non deniable. They will charge you with check out charge, even if the room is clean they charge minimum of 50GBP. They will harass and take a lot of money once you check out. I paid 81GBP FOR THIS ATTACHED BELOW. THEY WILL CHARGE BUT THEY WILL NOT CLEAN OR PROVIDE THAT SERVICE TO THEIR NEXT CUSTOMER.

5th Mar 2025 (11 days ago)At the start they were really good, however as time went on it appeared that at times the communication between the staff was not great. More the man in sales, didn’t appear to know details came across at times as quite pushy . Esp when we had done everything they requested! We did have to do a lot of chasing for information at times as well.

Ken in particular was incredibly friendly, enthusiastic and helpful in supporting me all the way through a long and drawn out process. He really showcased our house and we had a buyer within the first two viewings. They supported us with the purchase of our new home and communicated with our buyers and the estate agents in the chain ensuring we had a smooth move. We have now recommend them to our friend who has been in a similar position and are now pleased with the service provided by Lansley. Thank you Christian and team at Lansley for your help!

2nd Nov 2024 (19 weeks ago)I stayed in a rented property managed by Walmsley and would like to mention that the experience has been excellent. The team is very professional, true to work, transparent and organized. I never faced any challenges during a 30 month stay and would recommend Walmsley to anyone looking for a property in and around Reading. Some names to quote - Beth, Janet...keep doing the great work!!
6th Nov 2024 (19 weeks ago)We did it! Thanks to the team at Parkers, Tilehurst for achieving a successful sale in challenging market conditions. We tried two other local agents beforehand which did not lead to any success (during Truss budget era and oversupply of property periods). The team at Parkers, worked closely with me as a team to progress from marketing, arranging viewings, agreeing price change strategy and completion within 4 months as 2nd time buyers in a small chain. We were able to achieve of aim of using to a 3 bed with spacious driveway and garden ????. Alhamdulillah ????

They guided me every step of the way, making a potentially complex process straight forward and easier to navigate. Their clear communication and willingness to support whenever needed really set them apart. I highly recommend Farmer & Dyer and will use their services again in the future if needed.
10th May 2024 (10 mo. ago)I had a viewing scheduled at 3:30, but the agent was over 11 minutes late without any prior communication. When contacted, the agent attempted to deceive me about their arrival time. I understand that delays can occur however it's unacceptable to be dishonest about it. This lack of professionalism and honesty reflects poorly on the agency's service. Based on my experience, I would not recommend dealing with them.
14th Oct 2024 (22 weeks ago)We are having a nightmare with this company. We have now rented a property with them for a year. We turned up to the viewing, sat there for 10 minutes and no one showed. We called the office to be told they forgot to book it in and it would need to be rebooked, we had driven 4 hours to view this property as we were relocating so told them they had to send someone out. We were then rushed through the viewing. We ended up going ahead with the property and had no problems with this part of the process. However, anything that requires any form of management from Martin&Co is horrendous. They have 2 months to complete a gas safety check but left it to the last week they could legally have it done and then Oliver had a go at US for not being able to take a day off work to let them in. We got told it wasn't possible for them to give us a timed slot so we called British Gas ourselves and got told it was possible they just had to request it, M&Co wouldn't, so we did and I was able to work it around my job (but had to organise everything myself). We then got contacted about our yearly inspection, we called and booked it in for my day off, they never showed up. We called to find out that once again, they didn't book it in. We live in Wokingham but half of our communication comes from the Staines branch. We then got emailed 3 days before rent due to say they were changing the account we needed to pay, we went on to set it up and the bank stated it looked like a scam payment based on the account, we contacted the landlord as it was a Sunday and he said he hadn't authorised any bank change, so it did look like a scam! However, after contacting a very rude woman at M&Co they stated THEY were changing the bank account and we have no right to talk to our own landlord and to pay them immediately and we were lying about the warning from the bank (proof attached). We are on a fully managed contract and have had to organise everything ourselves so far, which is ludicrous. We are fed up with communication from this company and would never rent with them again.

23rd Feb 2025 (21 days ago)We had a great experience selling our home with Ewemove. We picked them because of their market knowledge and honest appraisal of our house - we had confidence they would be able to sell it with minimum fuss. The sale materials were well presented and we secured multiple offers on our house within a short period on the market. Craig was brilliant to deal with throughout - he was very responsive and smoothed over any issues that arose during the sale. We dealt with another agent for our onward purchase which was not as good an experience. Would highly recommend Ewemove in Tadley.
