25th Jul 2024 (2 days ago)I'd like to say thanks to Bilal at douglas allen I was on the market for nearly 7 months with another agent and they couldn't sell my property and kept reducing the price , Bilal kept regular contact with me and explained he could sell my property instantly. When my contract came to an end I called bilal and he straight away booked me a valuation and within 2 weeks sold my property for over asking price this guy is a man of his words and loves his job because his attention to detail is amazing. I'm so excited to get the keys for my dream home all thanks to bilal I wish I came to douglas allen sooner.

19th Jun 2024 (5 weeks ago)What a joke of an estate agents! I originally enquired about a viewing a property over a month ago and was told that there was a list for viewing of said property despite of me phoning in less than an hour after it was listed. Fair enough, as they said they would add me to that list for viewing that same week Saturday. I heard nothing back so I phoned the day before for them to say they weren’t taking any more viewings yet the property remains online. Another property I enquired about I was told it had sold (over 3 weeks ago) yet this also still remains listed. If you are no longer taking viewings or taking offers then do remove the listings to avoid people wasting their time, or do you just drag it out for the fees? As for sellers, beware: if someone phones in to enquire about your property they will likely tell them they cannot view it, even it hasn’t sold yet, dragging out the sale. Save money and go to another agent!

Rahman was taking very good care of us, prioritising our benefit throughout. I don't think I could have made such a great purchase of it wasn't for them. I am forever indebted

2nd Jul 2024 (25 days ago)Chalk Street are brilliant fixed rate Estate Agent, the team have been professional and helpful throughout, from Jack at initial concept through to Mandy as progressor. I had a particularly difficult solicitor, but Mandy was on top of the sale and exchange from the start to the end and gave every assurance possible throughout. The communication was brilliant. I would definitely recommend Chalk Street because of this.

18th Mar 2024 (19 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
25th Jun 2024 (5 weeks ago)Avoid this agent if your planning to let out your property. Once you hand over your keys and a tenant is found. No inspections take place as agreed prior to agreeing to letting the property out. The contractors that they use scam landlords, carrying out dodgy electric and gas certificates and without fail, the contractor will fail the inspection to attempt to get more money from the landlord. I've sent contractors that I found online a few days later and they confirm my property is in good condition for gas and electric, surprise surprise... I get my certificates issued with no fuss. The contract between agent and landlord.. complete scam yet again with a never ending contract which forces fees on the landlord which is completely unfair.. don't even think this is legal but will further investigate this matter. Also to add, when we agreed a rental increase and instructed anisten homes to agree with the tenants. I was told it was accepted but later found out that the tenant agreed paying anisten homes more than agreed with anisten home not informing me of this... scammers again.. Can see that they are using many of their friends to leave positive reviews on Google but this will not fool everyone. I strongly recommend to use another agent and avoid these scammers. FOLLOW UP COMMENTS AFTER THEIR REPLY. As a responsible landlord, I allow the agents to carry out the safety checks when needed without questioning the cost which are extremely high (contractors fee plus the agents finders fee) and they seem to find issues yearly without fail so after their so called checks, I get my own contractors out to complete the checks and confirm with the contractors that there is actually no faults and they confirm this so this is a clear way that the agent and their dodgy contractors attempt to rob more money for faults that don't exist. Regarding paying the exit fee, I have already explained to the agents that it will be paid once they fully explain their handover procedure to me and complete their hand out to myself of my own property... still awaiting a clear reply to how we can make this happen... these agents are only interested in grabbing your money!

What struck me the most about the service was something that is extremely rare to find in estate agents; they operate with integrity, openness and honesty. I never felt like I was being over sold or manipulated; they gave me the truth, and I trusted them fully to negotiate on our behalf and find us the best deal. I’d recommend them in a heart beat, thanks again guys, stellar job

Last month i was looking for a new home ,3 weeks of searching and calling different Estates Agents, a lot of appointments for viewings the properties but for what i saw on all the appointments it looked like they didn't want my money,none of the Agents put a bit of interest on selling the house ,some of them staying in the car or on the phone and let me walk free in the house to have a look by myself,none of them didn't show me the property in the correct way as an estate agent should do it. I was thinking for worse and start feeling desperate. BUT luckily i found mr. Ali from Real Move Estates, he helped me find a stunning 3 bed house, i have to say that his professional skill made the difference, he was the only one that show me the house ,all the rooms and all of it's space and let me know everything what i need to know about that property . On top of that he explains me everything verry clearly and made me understand all the documents and all the details needed for application. He made me feel like he really want to sell me the house and that's make me to go forwar with his team. I must say i am lucky that i find mr Ali and Real move Estates. Thanks verry much indeed for everything and all your effort. Best real Estates company on the market. 5 stars +++

Very diplomatic, honest and knowledgeable. I'd definitely approach the team again if we were considering buying or selling in the future.
