11th Jan 2026 (14 days ago)My experience with Balgores Hornchurch was mixed. While staff were polite and responsive, I felt significant pressure to use Gazeal’s reservation agreement when making an offer on a property. During the process, I was told that I could only proceed with the purchase if I signed the Gazeal reservation agreement and paid the reservation fee by Friday, or the property would be shown to other potential buyers over the weekend, and I will not have the chance to take it off the market and secure it. As a result, I ultimately lost my reservation fee when I withdrew from the property, even though my withdrawal was reasonable and in line with the agreement. As a buyer unfamiliar with reservation agreements, this was uncomfortable and not clearly explained as something I could decline. Given the financial and legal implications of such agreements, I believe buyers should be given clear, balanced information and genuine choice, without feeling pressured to proceed with a particular third-party service. Based on my experience, I would advise buyers to take time to fully understand any reservation agreements and to ask explicitly whether alternatives are available before committing.
13th Jan 2026 (12 days ago)We carried out a couple of viewings with Citrida and she was very knowledgable and helpful. We ultimately found a property with another agent, but would have no hesitation about buying and recommending Douglas Allen in Hornchurch.

A special thank you to Bogdan, Marc, and Lauraine for their dedication and excellent communication, as well as Juno Property Lawyers for handling the legal side smoothly and efficiently. Everyone worked together brilliantly to ensure the sale completed without issues. I would highly recommend this team to anyone looking for a reliable and stress-free property journey.
2nd Jan 2026 (23 days ago)I was selling my apartment through Griffin Grays, and they found a buyer, the conveyancing was taking a very long time over 5 months! One day I went in person to the office and asked what's going on with my property. The Sales man, I believe his name was Mark said, "Oh the buyers pulled out" and that was it. No warning, no apology, no refund on a potential holding deposit - nothing. I was stranded and devastated. It upset me that the agent did not even have the courtesy to inform me. Now I have an apartment that I don't want to live in and want to get rid of but have zero trust in the agent. A terrible experience.

5th Jan 2026 (20 days ago)At first, they were nice, until I saw the reasons why the tenant before us, moved out. There were cracks everywhere in the property, so the draft was ridiculous. We (my children and I) didn't have heating for months on several occasions; took us 7 months to get a new boiler, because they didn't believe we needed a new one. The balcony was on it's way to collapsing, I could go on. I had children under 10 in their property and they didn't care. I painted most of the property just to make it a little more homey, they didn't fix anything in the house but they charged me for the refurbishment of the whole house. This "family owned" company will throw you under the bus when it suits them. They will not do the work but will not compromise. I did a few things to try get the heating, atleast, sorted and that still didn't work but I'm being charged for a house that shouldn't have been put up for rent in the first place. After moving out of the property, Readings kept our belongings in the property for 3 weeks. When we were able to get our things, they only gave us 1 hour, 60 minutes to move a 2 bedroom out only to end up not being able to take everything due to the stopwatch detective that was there. Went through hell with these people. They are very patronising

23rd Dec 2025 (5 weeks ago)Cannot fault Keystones Romford at all. We received an offer within a week of marketing. Helen went above and beyond to keep us updated and chased the Solicitors when they refused to answer our telephone calls and emails. Solicitors take on too many cases and without a decent Estate Agent involved chains can fall apart or sales/purchases take far longer than necessary. I would not hesitate in recommending Keystones.

26th Nov 2025 (9 weeks ago)We are shortly going to be completing with Williams and Donovan and moving into our lovely house. We have had a very pleasant experience with W&D and although we hope not to move anytime soon or again, it was made very smooth and easy for us by them. They responded to us quickly, liaised with the sellers nicely and we are so glad we ended up buying with W&D, as the estate agents because everyone who worked there was so lovely. The main people we used were Paul Dunne and Lloyd Collins. Lloyd was amazing at the negotiation and Paul was so efficient the whole way through. Thank you so much for such a nice sales progression, only 8 weeks since the offer was accepted, it has taken us it’s been so quick!

I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if she’d captained the Lionesses at some point! If you’re looking to buy a home, I’d highly recommend Lux Homes. Their properties are beautiful and the service is just as strong. Thank you Sophie and the whole team.

From the first valuation to completion, they were professional, proactive, and incredibly supportive. Their communication was excellent--always quick to respond and happy to explain each step. They marketed the property brilliantly and secured a strong offer within few weeks. I couldn't have asked for a smoother process. Highly recommended..

I was super impressed by the efficiency of their booking system for viewings and the lie communication has been brilliant. Sold my house quickly and couldn’t be happier with their service.

He was clear on all information and the process of getting my property listed. In my opinion, their listing of my property, including photos and the description really made it stand out from the others. Our sales progressor, Kim, was also incredible throughout a long sale process and I can’t extend my thanks to her enough!

8th Jan 2026 (17 days ago)I would like to highly recommend Oakmont property, and specifically Dan. He is a very noble, professional, and kind gentleman. Whenever I needed him, he has been always there and would come personally to solve any issue, even if not related to his company directly. He would respond even on weekends (but please, I am not advising to do that, let him have a break :D). The whole team is very helpful, and the letting process was really smooth and straightforward. They are a really good example of how estate agencies should be.
