17th May 2024 (10 weeks ago)We have received our house key ( RM13 7LJ)on 14th May & we are really really happy. We have always got top quality service from start to Finish. We have to specially mention Lee Dabey’s name because he is the best. He definitely deserves 7 star rating because he knows how to handle the clients stressful journey through buying process. He always communicated with us as well as both sides solicitors and whenever any issue arises he just jumped into it and solve it nicely. Our offer was accepted on January & received the key on May and he was always supportive on that period. We wish all the very best for Lee Dabey as well as his Bairstow Eve Elm Park Branch.
19th Jun 2024 (5 weeks ago)What a joke of an estate agents! I originally enquired about a viewing a property over a month ago and was told that there was a list for viewing of said property despite of me phoning in less than an hour after it was listed. Fair enough, as they said they would add me to that list for viewing that same week Saturday. I heard nothing back so I phoned the day before for them to say they weren’t taking any more viewings yet the property remains online. Another property I enquired about I was told it had sold (over 3 weeks ago) yet this also still remains listed. If you are no longer taking viewings or taking offers then do remove the listings to avoid people wasting their time, or do you just drag it out for the fees? As for sellers, beware: if someone phones in to enquire about your property they will likely tell them they cannot view it, even it hasn’t sold yet, dragging out the sale. Save money and go to another agent!

Their valuation process is great and would make any seller confident to list with them. They are always on hand to offer advice without expecting anything back!

Mo took over the management of our property in Stratford while we were living in Australia. Our previous tenant (unbeknown to us) had subdivided the property and was illegally subletting rooms. A Court case ensued before we regained access to the property. Mo helped clear up the mess both legally and physically. The property was then successfully rented out with Mo keeping us completely informed when required. We recently decided to sell the property. Again, Mo handed the sale with the highest levels of honesty, pragmatism, and professionalism. And in doing so, achieving an excellent result for us and the buyers. I only wish that more people in the property industry were as professional as Mo.

2nd Jul 2024 (25 days ago)Chalk Street are brilliant fixed rate Estate Agent, the team have been professional and helpful throughout, from Jack at initial concept through to Mandy as progressor. I had a particularly difficult solicitor, but Mandy was on top of the sale and exchange from the start to the end and gave every assurance possible throughout. The communication was brilliant. I would definitely recommend Chalk Street because of this.

I haven't had to contact them for maintenance concerns yet, so I can't comment on that. But if that goes as smoothly as the leasing process, we'll be just fine.

18th Mar 2024 (19 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Whether I needed additional time for research or require more information on the property, they took it all in their stride.
