13th Apr 2024 (20 days ago)The open day viewings on Saturdays worked very well for us meaning that we only had viewers coming around once a week for an hour. During that hour we had on average 10 viewers each week. Valuation was spot on ensuring a speedy sale.

24th Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)Terrible estate agents put us through hell for nearly a year couldn't be bothered to do anything didn't wanna fix any problems me my 3 year old daughter and partner got moved to harlow by hackney council so woodlands was our estate agents if anything needed repairs they was meant to sort it we had no hot water or heating for nearly a year kept complaining nothing got done we had to sleep in the living room as the whole house was covered in mould and our clothes washing machine floor cooker my daughter's toys everything was ruined they told us to clean it ourselves my 3 year old now has asthma she was healthy before we moved their I had carbon monoxide poisoning due to the sever smell of mould environmental health found over 28 hazards and shut the place down only a week before we had to move due to the property being shut down they put a new boiler in after waiting nearly a year they lie they are disrespectful and rude Please if you have a property from woodlands screen emails messages take pictures because that's what we did from the day we moved in they called us liers but we had all the evidence now solicitors and environmental health are involved

28th Feb 2020 (4 years ago)ARQ Homes Estate Agent was recommended to me to get a lettings valuation's appraisal for my house. Also, following the reading of good reviews from other people, I was confident and encouraged to make an appointment with ARQ Homes. I spoke with Abdul who invited me to his office, and made feel more than just a client, I felt like a guest in his ARQ estate agent. Abdul was very clear and concise covering all the details in order to give me an honest an accurate valuation appraisal. Abdul also used his valuable experience and knowledge in the housing market, in order to give me a good advice how to proceed with my plan for both potential lettings and sales of my property. Abdul's advice has definitely put me on the the right directions in order to achieve the best possible outcome in relation to my property. Thank you for being passionate and professional in this sector. I will definitely recommend Abdul of ARQ Homes to my friends and family. Mustafa
27th Apr 2024 (6 days ago)Not a great experience with this company. Placed in a property via my local authority. One company fronts for this company. From day one I reported issues to the initial company I was introduced to. I had a random visit from the owner of this company who found it amusing and failed to comprehend exposed scolding hot pipes, over 1.5m drops in the back garden with no rails, loose paving, an un lockable back door, holes in walls and floors plus many more hazards were an serious issue for an ASD child. He dismissed me and instructed me to get a quote to decorate the bathroom while skipping out of the house arrogantly. I have since come to find out he is not just the estate agent but also the owner. After months of failed repairs by unskilled random men I had to get Environmental Health to inspect. In addition to the faults I identified there were multiple hazards identified including Cat 1 health and safety issues. I have even found slugs in the house. After all this still no effort to repair. Have the audacity to call me sis when you met me but have me and my kids living like this? Absolutely disgraceful people. When I am moved the whole street will get a copy of the report so other families you happily take GBP’s for will know exactly what they are dealing with!

29th Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)We chose Amos Estates for the sale of our parent’s property. From our first meeting with Jo, Amos have been nothing but understanding, attentive, responsive and helpful. As the sale progressed, with a number of hurdles along the way, Chelsea and team kept up the great work; the regular whatsapp updates were very much appreciated!! Great, clear price, friendly, supportive and empathetic professionals. I would happily recommend Amos Estates as the agents with a personal touch.
15th Nov 2023 (24 weeks ago)I usually don't write reviews, but Knights & Co definitely deserve it! I've rented a property with one of their agents back in August 2020, in the middle of the pandemic. Since the beginning, Hansa was super comprehensive with all my questions and concerns, from the tenancy agreement and length to a bed that broke afterwards and she managed to sort it on the same day. She promptly assisted me through the renting process, doing everything in her power to make my tenancy as pleasant as possible. If I had any sort of concern or problems with the property, I could literally just pick up the phone and give her a call no matter what day or time it was, and she would sort it out within minutes. Even when they're busy, they still give you the attention you need, and assist you in the best way they can. I am happy to say I was able have the experience to be a tenant with them, and I wish I could always be assisted by them as my Estate Agency. This is honestly the best estate agency I've ever dealt with in nearly 10 years of renting, and I couldn't recommend them more! Big thanks to Hansa and a solid 5 stars!

Their valuation was spot on and we received three offers from the first viewings at the price we wanted. Tony and Mark a big thank you from us!!

She made the whole transition very stress free, when I was in difficulties with arranging my mortgage I was able to just have chat with her, she took everything on board, didn’t feel rushed at all. She supported me throughout, Very efficient service. Lovely team. Thank you to Julia, Lucy and Gary.

5th Oct 2022 (1 year ago)We had a really bad experience with this estate agent, so beware. We had an offer accepted on a property, Jerome did the usual of taking our ID, proof of deposit, agreement in principle etc and confirmed acceptance. Three weeks later our solicitor raised our attention to the fact that the sellers solicitor had yet to issue draft contracts. After another week I finally got hold of Jerome who confirmed that the seller wouldn't issue the draft contract until we had a confirmed mortgage offer on the property. I told Jerome that wasn't the normal sequence we were familiar with, but he assured me that was how sales progressed in his experience. We went back to our solicitor who advised us that they would indeed normally wait for draft contracts to be issued before proceeding with searches and surveys etc. So we gave the sellers solicitor a deadline before we would reconsider the offer. On the day of the deadline the seller issued a race contract and advised us that there was another interested party who's offer had also been accepted and the seller would exchange with the party which secured a mortgage offer first. I don't know whether Jerome was aware that the seller had accepted multiple offers when we had our conversation, but my instinct at the time told me he wasn't being open and honest about the sellers intentions. So beware of this agent in case they try this with you.

Completely put me off viewing any properties with them.

We chose Bowden Bradley to sell our house in Hainault, as they were a locally based but forward-looking modern agency that offered a competitive no-sale no-fee pricing structure. We were immediately impressed with Robin's insightful market evaluation and emphasis on the importance of finding the right type of buyer as well as the best possible offer. At the time given the market conditions, without such guidance, it may well have taken us many more months to receive a good offer from reliable buyers. The quality of their photography and videography was great too and they were able to get us listed days after we signed with them. We'd also like to thank Emilea, who did a great job in helping progress the sale and keep all parties updated - without which we may not have been able to complete before Christmas!
