Since being with Acorn for the last 3 years, i have had nothing but trouble. From losing the keys on the way in, breaking the gas tap, to calling up every month for the rent, to paying for a check every 6 months but not getting one for almost 2 years, and then losing the keys AGAIN on the way out, i would never recommend this company to anyone. If you are a landlord, run. The other direction!

Poor service from the branch manager, quite rude too. Shame as other staff were professional at least. I will return when management changes not before. A pity as KFH have several good branches in the Crystal Palace to Bromley region.

With our property, we've been given an opportunity to view it very early (even before an advert was put online) which finally resulted in an accepted offer after 7 months of being on the market. So the experience of working with KFH itself was good. However, the solicitors recommended by the agency (Beverley Morris & Co) were ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE and UNBELIEVABLY slow. Following that advice was a mistake.

I’m a bit of a control freak and my only criticism is the steps to get on the market, weren’t made crystal clear in advance. We had expected to be able to review and sign off a draft of our listing before it went live on rightmove and zoopla. As it was his son Jack gave an excellent write up overall, with just a few detail that needed correcting after the fact!
Ryan is the youngest member of the lettings team in Bromley and carried out all the viewings, but and we quickly learnt to trust his gut feeling. My background is corporate and I was hoping to find another Canary Wharf commuter. However Ryan was sure the he had the perfect self employed couple and it turned out he was right!
Our tenants have been in a couple of months now and we’ve just started interacting with Amber and the property management team. So far very pleased with their attention to minor but crucial maintenance vital to preserving the integrity of our property.
Had some concerns at first however after raising the issues with rob the manager he was happy to help and adress any issues and has since given me his personal contact should i have any further issues. Greatly appreciated his input.
Being a first time buyer for us was a daunting process. Our viewing at the first property with Langford Russell was unfortunately not the one for us but Abbie our estate agent brought along other options that might of been of interest, in our preferred area and within budget. With no pressure from Abbie we decided to view another property she recommended and in the end resulting in being the one we purchased. From the offer being accepted till the day we picked up the keys Abbie and the rest of the team were very efficient, helpful and all round amazing with any queries all problems we had. Informative, dedicated to providing great customer service and making the whole experience of purchasing our first home and easy and exciting experience.

I'm really unsure why anyone gives Langford Russell 5 stars. I'm beyond frustrated and disappointed by the situation my husband and I have been through with them. We rented our home out for two years and paid a premium to Langford Russell to ensure we had decent tenants and that our home was taken care of. We recently moved back to the property and have been shocked by the amount of damage to the property and the battle we have to get even the smallest amount of the deposit back which at this rate, looks very unlikely. I never felt supported by Langford Russell at any point, apart from one member of the team, Robert who always replied to requests and did his best- thank you Robert. Unfortunately the rest of the team are useless. Our tenants smashed a window, destroyed our 100 year old original front door and the blind in the front room was damaged beyond repair. This is just the tip of the ice berg. I have no idea how they vet tenants or carry out inspections. I'm frustrated, upset and frankly so fed up and wanted to give some honest feedback for future customers to consider.

In our case we were fortunate to have a negotiator who demonstrated a real empathy both buyer and seller.
Throughout the process Anthony Whelan kept the ball rolling, passing enquiries to and fro, liaising with
outside agencies, and keeping us in touch directly and keeping both parties on track towards exchange. A tough challenge at times especially with the disruption during holiday times.
And .... at the midnight hour...Anthony pulled it out of the bag ! With the nervousness post- Brexit and a last minute panic by our buyer, Anthony paved the way for the final push to exchange.
