2nd Feb 2026 (6 days ago)Back in 1997 I purchased my house from Chandler's and they were brilliant then. So they were my first go to agent when I wanted to sell. Although slightly different team now they are still the best. my property went on the market 2nd Jan-26 and sold on 5th Jan-26! What more could anyone want. Hopefully everything will continue to sail through.

He was brilliant, keeping me up to date throughout and arranging extra viewings as, and when, required. Always replied to my many enquiries very promptly. Helped to complete on a tight 8 week timeline, pre Christmas, due to seller requirements. Very happy to be in my first home for Christmas, can’t thank and recommend Mark and the team at Compass Elevation enough!
19th Dec 2024 (1 year ago)What are the estate agent playing at, they are now selling a 4 bed house in Elder way Ampthill for £40000 over valuation price, this is a shared ownership property only recently valued at £510,000 Are they that desperate.. And a building society or bank will have a say on this, beware as you could lose thousands of pounds

7th Apr 2025 (10 mo. ago)I had the pleasure of dealing with Jon, Lee and Caitlin. All of who were fantastic, Jon in particular updated me pretty much every day whilst we tried to navigate a tricky purchase. Unfortunately due to the seller wasting time we wasn’t able to purchase it however Jon and his team did everything right and everything they could their side. Just came down to a waste of time seller. She was communicative, friendly and always willing to help. The process wasn't easy (a lot of bumps in the road) but Rosie was proactive and reassuring and we got there in the end! 9th Jan 2026 (30 days ago)I can’t speak highly enough of Putterills. We bought a house from them in 2019 and they made it a breeze. We then sold that house with them in 2025 and despite a very tough market they worked so hard- initially finding us an asking price buyer before we even went live with listing, and then several months later when the chain collapsed they found us a new one. Abigail worked tirelessly to progress the sale, negotiate various issues and keep us up to date with everything, chasing solicitors on our behalf and ensuring we moved before our school deadline. I would not hesitate to use them again as they are the best estate agents I have come across.

Special thanks to David and Jemma who guided me through several blips very expertly. Communication was first rate and I appreciated the weekly update. From start to finish, the whole experience of buying our house was smooth, stress free, and actually enjoyable, which is not something you hear often when it comes to house buying! The entire team were incredibly friendly, approachable, and genuinely helpful at every stage. No question ever felt silly, and they were always happy to explain things clearly and patiently. Communication was excellent throughout. We were kept in the loop the whole time and never felt left wondering what was happening next. Emails and calls were answered quickly, and everything was explained in a straightforward way that made the process feel far less overwhelming. They really go out of their way to make sure you feel supported and informed. What really stood out was how stress free they made everything feel. Buying a house can be daunting, but Fry Estate Agents handled everything so efficiently that it took a huge weight off our shoulders. They were well organised, proactive, and clearly very experienced, which gave us a lot of confidence and peace of mind. On top of that, the customer service was genuinely excellent. 5th Jan 2026 (5 weeks ago)They may be a good estate agent but absolutely useless at maintaining our property which they took over in 2025. Our first and olny issue reported was a simple request to clean gutters to prevent further damage to the block that they manage. Got no response to EMails, they don't pick up the phone & give no commitment to timescales to resolve maintenance issues. They are however very good at collecting their fees every month.

Their professionalism, service, attentiveness, responsiveness and attention to detail is more than I ever thought I'd get from them as letting agents. They put in effort with viewings and found a great tenant for my house. I'd advise any landlord going with them. There is a reason why they have the best Google reviews of any lettings agent in Stevenage!
