22nd May 2025 (21 days ago)I cannot thank Lawrence and Irwan enough for the really exceptional service I received selling my house. The way they worked truly impressed me and was vastly better than with any other estate agents that I have used over the years. Irwan who was showing the clients around, clearly got to know them well and had detailed discussions with them showing them around the house, pointing out the features that they might be interested in. Lawrence was managing the sale overall and was brilliant in his negotiations, leading to a sale figure of £10k above the suggested offers over price. He then followed up the sale process every work until completion and would phone the buyers solicitor and mine weekly to determine what progress had been made before calling me to give me the update. Absolute first rate service!

30th May 2025 (13 days ago)Excellent customer service, complete professionalism from first contact to completion.. choosing a local estate agent was made easy Maurice Kilbride provided the complete service his knowledge, understanding, and ability to carry out the all aspects of his profession, from marketing, to keeping both myself and the purchaser completely up to date and informed throughout the process. I would recommend Maurice Kilbride without a doubt to anyone, for my family especially at a very emotional time he took away all the pressure and handled everything at home what is normally a very stressful time. From the branch manager Rob coming out to value us and being pleasantly surprised with what could be expected, to needing extra viewings for all the demand and selling for above what we expected. Nicky took over communications and liaising once we were proceeding and was so quick and efficient and was amazing at making things clear as a first time seller. 11 weeks from listing to completion with no stress, which I put solely down to Gascoigne Halmans involvement. Couldn’t recommend them more

28th May 2025 (15 days ago)Absolute nightmare. I wanted to rent a property with these people in Cheadle Hulme and I was shown the property and I had to see the landlord too. I went through referencing which showed that I needed a guarantor. At first the landlord did not want to go ahead but finally he agreed with it as I confirmed that I could provide two guarantors and pay 12 months upfront. My guarantors went through a lot and put every detail of their income and HMRC details. The very next day the agency rang me saying one of the guarantors did not pass the affordability criterion. What I trying to say the agency did nothing to facilitate the matter. Mind you the rent was £900 a month, and I provided two guarantors who earned 30000 and 45000 annually plus me who earn 29000. I also confirmed that I could pay 12 months upfront but all the agency was saying that the landlord does not like to go ahead with someone who needs a guarantor. Well it seemed that after I found the landlord and spoke to him on Openrent he agreed with a guarantor. So they did nothing to speak to the landlord. And when it came to guarantors and sending them their links, I was told by the agency that they have sent the links to my guarantors on a Friday before the bank holiday which they did not but kept claiming that they did. After I sent them an email on the Tuesday after, they managed to send the links. And all this time, they were never ever helpful and just kept disappointing me. And the very next day they said one of my guarantors has not passed affordability. As far as I know the referencing will take more than a single day. All I am saying is that they kept dragging the process just when I needed a place to stay. Totally unhelpful- 28th May 2025 (15 days ago)Amazing service throughout. As soon as we put the house on the market to completing the service was great at Jordan Fishwick. Theo was great to deal with and kept me fully informed throughout the process and did everything he possibly could to complete our home on time. There was 5 of us in the chain so it was tough but he helped get this through within 8 weeks! If we were ever moving again I would 100% recommend Jordan Fishwick. Thanks again for all your help.
31st Aug 2024 (9 mo. ago)First of all, when they got deposit money they never ring you back .they just making money on the holding fee for your reference check. They waste your time ,money and just give you headache. If there's is option of giving zero 0 star rating I would give that. Ridiculous people working over there they never rcv ur call. And after holding money they still viewing that property to other people. Scammers just making haram money.

17th May 2025 (26 days ago)We haven't sold the property, we're switching agents. We feel that The Property Man over valued the property and then were not honest with us. We feel they should have advised us to really reduce the price and stage the property to give it a chance to attract a suitable buyer.
18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

30th May 2025 (13 days ago)Contacted for valuation of my house and got an appointment. On the day of appointment hour before i got email saying that they don’t work with that area. And yet they have house for sale board on few houses down from us

Tenants stayed at my property for two years and with their very management it was possible that there was little amount of repair work created. I enjoyed time as being landlord and appreciate their care for my house ???? in proactive way. Thanks again???????? All the best
