17th Jan 2022 (2 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.
21st Sep 2024 (5 weeks ago)You might find many positive reviews from sellers, but I strongly advise first-time buyers to steer clear of this agency. When I viewed the property, I was assured it was in excellent condition, with the exception of the boiler being a bit old. However, as recommended to me, I still arranged for a independent survey. Due to an unexpected emergency, the survey was delayed by a week. This delay wouldn’t have affected the sale since the completion date was still a month away. Despite this, the agency contacted me, pressuring me to cancel the survey because the seller was growing impatient (a tactic that, in hindsight, seems manipulative). Unfortunately, I felt I had little choice, as the house I was renting was soon to be sold. It turned out that the house suffered from severe mould and damp issues - an information that was withhold from me during the viewing and that would have been revealed in the survey. Fixing these problems has already cost me several thousand pounds. I strongly discourage first-time buyers, especially my NHS colleagues who need to buy in this area for work, from using this agency. They simply cannot be trusted.

3rd Sep 2024 (7 weeks ago)Consummate Professionals with that human touch: Leanne and her team at Savills in Cranbrook were alongside us all the way in the sale of our house, offering personalised, calm and knowledgeable advice (& never pushy in their approach). We found everyone involved to be fantastic from start to finish, from Russell, Chloe, Katya (viewings were seamless) and Sarah who regularly picked up the baton. Leanne in particular, went above and beyond in seamlessly coordinating it all and our exchange process, always sensitive to our personal circumstances and timelines. We fully recommend them and would use them again. Thank you all!

For instance, they told me the loft was boarded. We get up into the loft and it’s not. Also, I clearly stated in my offer I would like the garden furniture to be included in the offer and yet this was not passed on and not left. They clearly need to up their game looking after all sides of each party very disappointed.

23rd May 2024 (22 weeks ago)I would highly recommend Angela Hirst when looking to rent your new home. So professional and such a friendly service. If I had a question I would get a reply quickly and explained well if there was something I didn't understand. The day I got my keys the agent was very thorough with the inventory check of the property and made sure I had everything I needed before she left. 100% would recommend if I know anyone looking to rent.

She provided excellent and consistent communication and ensure all parties were up to speed. Without Linda, the buying of our new home would have been even more stressful and she was key to making this a positive experience. Would highly recommend Sandersons and we would likely use them if we were to move.
Excellent park with an even better children's playground. We come here every weekend with our sons (aged 2 and 0) My son absolutely loves this playground, especially as he likes climbing and there are so many things to climb. Outside of the playground there is a lovely pond with ducks, and also a water play area where you can sit on big rocks and have a picnic on the grass.

18th Mar 2024 (7 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
