1st Jul 2024 (26 days ago)Avoid at all costs, very unprofessional, read the small print before signing your contract when selling with them. Sold a house and they took it off market not doing all there compliance checks of a ltd company, messed around for over 6 months and could have had another buyer but they decided to take off the market immediately. Buyer pulled out after 6 months of ongoing mortgage applications. William h brown showed no interest to sell the property or market it properly. Save your money, used richard kendall and sold within 6 weeks for a lesser fee as a bonus.

3rd Jul 2024 (24 days ago)Having such a bad experience with the majority of the estate agent 'big players' in Wakefield...even being discriminated against by one for being outside of Yorkshire...I popped into Martin & Co to see if they could help. I started a job in Leeds and desperately needed a place to move following 7 rejections from other agents.. Monay and Leah from Martin and co treated myself and my partner excellently and with concentrated customer service instead of a way to make a quick buck...they pushed hard to get myself and my partner our dream place and in time for my job start...their service is priceless...Leah even checked in yesterday to make sure the move went well. All I can say is if you want an estate agent who will treat you with value...and as a human being...check these guys out ...they deserve the business more than their competitors.

I had a good honest chat about what I wanted with David jones the valuation manager who said he would get back to me within a couple of days. I heard nothing so after 5 days a contacted them again but conveniently David was out of the office so I asked again if he could contact me. What a surprise he couldn’t be bothered to return my call. Avoid using this branch at Wakefield because they will let you down. Very very poor.

7th May 2024 (12 weeks ago)Had been worried about selling my house after 30 years. Could I cope with the stress involved and the process being long winded, complicated and frustrating? Gareth came along, explained everything in simple terms, got an amazing bunch of photographs done and in no time and the For Sale board was in situ. He kept me up to speed with all my viewings by text if he couldn’t get hold of me - even scheduling them to a time frame and on certain days of the week so that we still had time to relax and enjoy time as a family. This was important to us as I felt we still had some control over the sale. Any time I had a question, Gareth could always answer and he helped me prioritise what needed to be done. He recommended me a choice of conveyancing solicitors and this saved me so much time in ringing around for one as the quotations fell into my inbox. It’s not everyday you sell your home so it can be really daunting at times, but when you have a good agent walking beside you it makes it so much easier. I would not hesitate to recommend Morgan Estates to anyone looking for a brilliant customer focused Estate Agency.

Starting with putting together a great marketing package which made our house look better than we could imagine then showing round prospective buyers and handling the resultant negotiations through to a quick sale. The whole process was as smooth as could be and we were kept informed and consulted consistently along the way. We can’t recommend EweMove enough.

1st Jul 2024 (26 days ago)Sold our house with DPSH. It took 8 months, mainly due to the solicitors they 'highly recommended'. We did all the viewings ourselves and had to push for them to encourage the buyers to come back with a higher offer. THEN when we actually sold our house - we heard nothing from them for the full 8 months except 1 token phone call asking us to ring them with an update.... Including on the day we completed and exchanged, we had to arrange to meet the buyers at the house - no phone call checking it had all gone ok, I don't even know if they know we have sold.... I presume they do because they have got a load of money for doing absolutely nothing. Would not use again and would not recommend. 1 star is generous.
