3rd Sep 2026 (14 days ago)Liz Cooke at Kendalls was absolutely excellent and worked very hard to get our house sale over the line; we're grateful for all her tireless communications with the various parties involved, her expertise and tenacity!<br>By way of helpful feedback - we felt that, on reflection, our property was over-priced in the first instance, which made for a slow start to the viewing process, and the original photographs / sales brochure could have been better, but this was rectified quickly.<br>But once we had a buyer Liz Cooke pulled out all the stops and did a great job for us.
4th Sep 2026 (13 days ago)They were so bad we have already parted ways. After 3 viewings with zero feedback and excuse after excuse they finally allowed us to exit the contract early. That’s how confident they were at selling our property. The office is full of staff fresh out of school who lack basic sales skills. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. Very different to the William H Brown I knew when I used to work in mortgages/banking years ago. Zero customer service!

Hopefully I'll find something else with someone else. Do not respond to emails. And do not respond. When you send a request for a property. No, very good. I will go somewhere else. I know where I'm not wanted.

The estate agent was extremely helpful, responsive and always kept us informed about what was happening and what to expect next.<br><br>Communication was great from start to finish, and we always felt well supported throughout the purchase. Everything went smoothly and we really appreciated all the help along the way.<br><br>We would definitely recommend!

5th Sep 2026 (12 days ago)Very poor experience with Baker Estate.<br><br>I had a viewing booked and unfortunately I was running late. I accept that being late was on me, but I tried calling the agency around 15 minutes before the appointment to let them know and received no answer.<br><br>When I arrived, I contacted them through WhatsApp and was told to knock on the door as the agent may still be inside. She had already left. The lady I was speaking to then passed the phone to the agent, and I politely asked whether she could come back to conduct the viewing.<br><br>Her response and attitude were incredibly unprofessional and standoffish. She told me she had already waited 15 minutes. When I explained that I had tried calling beforehand, she simply told me, “No you didn’t.” I offered to send screenshots of my call history to prove that I had, but rather than acknowledging this, she said that either way she wasn’t coming back and that we could reschedule.<br><br>I asked whether it was normal procedure to leave a viewing without attempting to contact the prospective tenant first. Instead of having a professional conversation, she became argumentative and kept insisting that I should have called—even though that is exactly what I had tried to do.<br><br>I explained that I didn’t want to reschedule because the property is around 45 minutes from where I live and I had already spent my time and money travelling there. The conversation continued going back and forth and her attitude became increasingly frustrating, so I ended the call.<br><br>Ironically, around two minutes later she called me back and suddenly said she could come back after all. By that point I was already on my way to another viewing. She suggested rescheduling again, and I said “okay” out of courtesy. There was then just silence on the phone, so I said “okay, bye” and she hung up without saying anything.<br><br>I completely accept responsibility for being late. What I don’t accept is the unnecessarily confrontational attitude, being accused of lying about calling when I could prove that I had, and the general lack of professionalism throughout the interaction.<br><br>A simple phone call before leaving the property, or even a polite conversation afterwards, could have avoided the entire situation. Instead, I wasted a significant amount of time and petrol travelling there and was left with a very poor impression of the agency.<br><br>Based on this experience, I certainly wouldn’t want to deal with Baker Estate as a tenant.

He handled the sale of my house with a really high level of professionalism, I’d previously used a more traditional estate agent as I hadn’t come across EweMove, the contrast was night and day and Paul made the selling experience enjoyable.<br><br>Paul was knowledgeable, approachable and kept everything moving when it could easily have become stressful. I really appreciated his patience, communication and the way he conducted himself throughout the process.<br><br>A genuinely excellent estate agent and a real credit to the team. Thank you, Paul!

Redroots works well with its solicitor partners, HSR Law, resulting in a seamlessly streamlined and integrated process. Despite unexpected Land Registry complications which threatened to impede progress, our personal Redroots Sales Agent gave us excellent counsel and guidance throughout. I would highly recommend Redroots for a smooth, reassuring and efficient sales experience.

From the very beginning, he has been incredibly efficient, professional and genuinely helpful throughout my purchase journey so far.<br><br>Jake submitted my very first offer on what will be my dream home, and he has gone above and beyond at every stage since. He even delayed his lunch break so I could get to the office with my paperwork, then helped with all the technical side of uploading the documents so everything could be processed quickly.<br><br>Communication has been outstanding. Jake has kept me fully informed about my vendor's house search and the progress of the rest of the chain, so I've always known where things stood. He also instructed my solicitors on my behalf, making the whole process much smoother and taking a lot of the stress away.<br><br>Whenever I've called or emailed, Jake has always responded promptly.<br><br>If you're buying or selling a property, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jake and the team at Mallinson & Co.
