23rd Jun 2025 (15 days ago)We have always had great responsive service from Kelrick properties in Ashton-in- Makerfield, Charley and Leah have always been efficient and helpful, anything that needs arranging is done promptly. I would recommend their property management service as being excellent.
31st Jan 2025 (23 weeks ago)Unfortunately my experience with Alan Batt isn't a great one. The sales pitch is scripted and mainly involves bad-mouthing local agents, and boasting about how many followers he has on social media, which was immediately off putting. As a surveyor myself, I had a very good idea of what my property was worth, and it was a great deal greater than what Alan thought I could get. He valued my house at offers in the region of £130,000, and claimed he could sell my house within a week... but also claimed houses that sell quickly are undervalued. I wasn't impressed with Alans approach to valuation, and instead went with another local agent who had a completely different and friendlier approach. My house sold for £150,000 ... £20,000 over what Alan had valued it at. If I'd of chosen to sell my house through Alan, I would've lost money that my house deserved. I don't usually write reviews but I feel compelled to write this one, in the hope it could push a seller to another agent that will inevitably get them more money towards their next move.

Janet was amazing and helped me on many an occasion with her advice and knowledge. It was so comforting to have someone to navigate such a complex process.

It was a pleasure doing business with them.

They helped us twice; once in the process of buying a house and then with selling and purchasing another. Keith Powell and his team went above and beyond taking on additional work involving a complex lease and managing a challenging estate agent branch. We would highly recommend them!

1st Jul 2025 (7 days ago)We rented for over 6yrs with Leaders and they have been superb throughout. We have now purchased the house from our Landlord with the help of Leaders on the sellers behalf. Everything went smoothly with no issues. Would recommend using Leaders to anyone wanting to rent a quality house at reasonable prices.
6th Jul 2025 (2 days ago)Since changing agent to Rutter Green, it has been a lot more of a personal experience. Lisa and Alison update me on a regular basis. They have focussed on getting the right buyer for my property instead of arranging window shoppers to get the statistics up. That has resulted in quality viewings and serious offers. I am a very happy customer.

My mum and dad travelled up North to view houses to buy for 2 days in the area. They booked a viewing with Kay Collins for a house in Parsonage Brow UpHolland they were very keen to see. Due to KC's unusual 'ring and confirm policy' that we were not aware of, there was noone there to meet us at the agreed time. They said my dad had been rung 4 times an hour prior to the appointment to confirm viewing but the calls had not come through to his mobile even though he had it on him the whole time. Only evidence they rang was one answerphone message sent 30 minutes earlier while we were viewing another property. Have dealt with numerous other agents and none of them operate this confirm policy! Also, no willingness to rearrange or offer another appointment on the day. Disappointed and very upset for my mum and dad. I never leave negative reviews as I like to give people the benefit of the doubt but as a business owner myself I would never devalue customers this casually.

23rd Jun 2025 (15 days ago)This is one of the worst estate agents a landlord or tenant can use. I recently lived in one of their managed properties (was not the main tenant on the contract so they won’t have my name on record) and this is a horrible company to deal with. When we lived there, they were so cheap and would not fix hazardous issues that were of safety concerns. They are extremely unethical and is just milking off of people both landlords and tenants. When we moved out they fraudulently claimed things were not clean and just kept making lies and fabricating things including invoices and receipts. They are first class scammers and took so much of the deposit. They are very happy to eat your hard earned money up. Never rent or use this horrible estate agent to manage your properties there are much better estate agents out there that are not cheap and give good services to tenants. Most of the staff in here are also super unfriendly, it seems you have to be some sort of a special person to work here as well. For people who are supposed to be experts and professionals in real estate they surely don’t seem to know anything about the laws and regulations of estate management.
