19th Feb 2026 (16 weeks ago)I’ve just completed the sale of my mother’s flat, through Harvey’s in Mere Green. Charles was knowledgeable, professional and helpful. It was good to have someone that made the process so smooth, especially as I live a few hours away. I would definitely recommend.

8th Nov 2024 (1 year ago)We dealt with Matthew Irvine from day one, our first sale fell through so it was a drawn out transaction (5 months) but we found Matthew responsive and helpful throughout, we needed more detailed measurements of the house and although we were committed and would have bought the property in any case, Matthew provided us with a virtual tour which helped alot as we were only able to view once and were buying from Devon. Matthew was approachable and courtious and always responded to our requests for information, so I would say he did a pretty good job with this transaction which was quite stressful for us, we have now relocated and are enjoying our new surroundings :-)- 23rd Jun 2025 (11 mo. ago)Quick & efficient
26th May 2026 (19 days ago)Been with Northwood team for more than a year and had couple of issues in property which were later on picked up by Geraldine one by one and all issues were sorted on priorty basis. Communication was so great and contractors were assigned to each issue. Happy to be one of the tenant with Northwood Solihull :)

1st Mar 2024 (2 years ago)Just finished our tenancy agreement after 2 years 3 months. The whole Preferential team have been fantastic but specially Emma K since I dealt with her from day one till the end of the tenancy, she is brilliant. to be fair they always fixed any fault in the property pretty quickly so thanks to Victoria for this. I did not deal much with the director Simon but he did some adjustments to my contract to be able to give the month notice from the day I exchanged contracts of the property I purchased so thanks for this. From our side we have kept the property always clean and taken care of it as if it was ours. I recommend Preferential.

19th Dec 2023 (2 years ago)SAME REVIEW AS PREVIOUS USERS. STAFF ARE RUDE, unresponsive, and unprofessional. Suggest to avoid buying properties/ renting via this agent if you are landlord/ tenant. Unpleasant experience.

He was always available to chat, never made us feel like a nuisance, and his advice was spot on every time. It’s rare to find an agent who is this invested in their clients. He and his lovely colleague Liz pushed our sale over the line when things got tough, and we are now happily settled in a home we love. If you’re looking for a team that is professional but also genuinely human and supportive, go with Chosen. You won’t be disappointed. Thank you, Chris & Liz! ??

We dealt with other estate agents in our buying process who left a lot to be desired to say the least and showed the vast gulf in class between local everyday operators and Eliza. Will be recommending her to anyone that asks!

She has been friendly and professional , responding immediately to my request to view the property , followed by providing a quick decision from the landlord and the necessary paperwork within a day. I can’t recommend her highly enough. Thank you Holly for making what can sometimes be a stressful experience, a pleasure.
25th Jun 2025 (11 mo. ago)I had a completely unprofessional experience with John Shepherd Estate & Letting Agents regarding a rental property in the Gravelly Hill area. On June 23rd, I submitted a viewing request through Rightmove for a flat where I fully met all the pre-qualification criteria mentioned in their listing, including income, move-in date, and tenant profile. Since I received no response, I went in person to their office on June 24th. They confirmed that my request was in their system and told me I would be contacted later that day to arrange a viewing. That call never came. I followed up again by email on June 25th, which was also ignored. Meanwhile, I tried calling multiple times during working hours, but their phone line appears to be permanently down. It always plays a message saying no one is available, with no way to leave a voicemail. This is not only unprofessional, it makes them completely unreachable. To make matters worse, the listing was marked as "out of market" on June 25th without any notice or explanation. I was never informed if the property was let, withdrawn, or if I was being considered at all. No courtesy email, no update, nothing. I made every effort to follow their process, I showed genuine interest, I visited their office, followed up in writing and by phone, and I met all their listed requirements. In return, I received complete silence and zero transparency. This is not just poor service – it is a total lack of respect for applicants. If you are a prospective tenant, I strongly advise caution when dealing with this branch. My experience showed a complete breakdown in professionalism, communication, and basic standards of letting practice.
6th Jun 2026 (8 days ago)We have just completed the house sale of our mother’s house. This was a stressful time for us but everything ran smoothly with Andrew Downing Booth estate agents. They had been recommended by a neighbour and came top of our list after visits from other estate agents. The house sold in January within a week of going up for sale and we exceeded the asking price. Photography, videos and all the advertising were very impressive. Communication was very efficient and we had every confidence in each person we worked with. They even created a WhatsApp group for us as none of the family lived locally. In particular Karen Tew became our rock and guided us through the process. She was incredibly supportive and she proved a very useful link between us, solicitors and the buyers, cutting through bureaucracy to get quick answers. At our request Andrew recommended a solicitor who also proved exceptionally good. We have no hesitation to recommend this estate agent in Aldridge.
