In a particularly challenging market, Adele Baker’s advice and professionalism throughout the process gave me a huge amount of comfort. 3rd Jan 2020 (6 years ago)They did not communicate, they had not studied the house , what is there or not. We had to keep contacting them to gain information after possible buyers had visited. Etc.

We had a long drawn out buying and selling process for various reasons and we were supported all of the way by Joseph who went above and beyond and of course the rest of the team. Natasha who showed us around was lovely, very professional but equally down to earth and not pushy at all :) Since then we have had our offer accepted on the property. Stuart has been a wealth of knowledge on the other end of the phone, answering all of questions perfectly with great knowledge and useful info about the property and surrounding areas. He phoned us on a Sunday to get it all sorted which shows dedication :) Thankyou both and we look forward to a straight forward process from here on :)

Caroline helped my sister and I get our new apartment in West London and we couldn’t be happier - a very smooth process, a user-friendly app for paperwork purposes and above all, a lovely lady who went above and beyond to guide us through the whole transaction. 10th Oct 2025 (8 mo. ago)Gazumped! Offer had been accepted on a property in Clevedon with an offer acceptance letter and the promise the house would come off the market. Fast forward a week after everything in place with solicitors and I receive a phone call from one of Steven Smiths associates. He explained that a first time buyer had viewed the property a week prior to us and that they made an offer which was accepted in favour of ours because the chain was smaller, essentially blaming the elderly owner of the property! I know this is technically legal but what a dirty, rotten thing for an agent to do especially to a newlywed couple at later stages of IVF. Avoid these agents if possible or proceed with caution. Absolutely disgusting and zero customer loyalty.

They were consistently responsive and professional, and it was a pleasure working with them. I also happen to think they do a great job with the photography and details of the listings that they represent, and as someone on the buy-side I can only say that I was impressed by the quality of the listings they represent.

Despite being told by Peter Greatorex to take our formal complaint to the ombudsman, it turns out that his company isn’t registered with the ombudsman. That should tell you all you need to know.

From the very first viewing right through to completion, he was so friendly, easy to talk to, and always there when we needed him. He kept us in the loop the whole way through and was always quick to come back to us if we had any questions, which made everything feel a lot less stressful. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and you could tell he genuinely wanted to help things move along. Buying a house can be overwhelming, but Tom made it feel so much more manageable.
