Like all house purchases it had its challenges and Martin dealt with these with total professionalism working as a honest broker between me and his client. 24th May 2026 (21 days ago)Would highly recommend. Our house was on the market for almost a year (with a short break) with another agent, we then put it on with Syd and we had multiple viewings and offers within a couple of weeks. Instead of just waiting for enquiries, we felt that RA Bennett were proactive and would actively sell our house to potential buyers that hadn’t specifically enquired about our property. We were really impressed with the communication to keep us in the loop, and viewing feedback was provided on the same day, or next day. They were all super helpful throughout the entire process, especially Syd, Mia and Naomi.

8th May 2021 (5 years ago)Beware of using Andrew's to buy/sell! Due to the poor standard of service and lack of communication we were not told of 2 unresolved boundary disputes that affected the sale of a property we had made an offer on. This caused a delay of nearly 7 months before we were forced to withdraw from the purchase due to the behaviour of Andrew's staff and management as well as the sellers attitude as they were constantly told it was not an issue by andrews. Andrew's later admitted to being aware of the boundary disputes when the property had been originally listed. You cannot complete and have the deeds transferred to your name or even get a mortgage on a property with unresolved boundary disputes - Andrew's you should know better! Being repeatedly lied to is not an appropriate form of service! We would not have proceeded to order surveys and searches and instruct solicitors had we known when we made our offer. This entire debacle has cost us nearly £1k in fees. We were offered a mere £250 as compensation for 7 wasted months and £1k of wasted money. We were constantly told it was not an issue and it was repeatedly minimised which dragged the process out. Despite making a complaint to management and escalating through the complaints process to head office we have had no appropriate resolution.
15th May 2026 (30 days ago)I’ve had a fantastic experience with Allen & Harris in Chipping Sodbury and would particularly like to thank Sarah Cunningham and Jack Casstles for their outstanding support. They both assisted me not only with the sale of my previous property around a year and a half ago, but also more recently with my search for a new home and the mortgage application process. Throughout the entire journey, they have consistently been friendly, approachable and completely trustworthy. What really stood out to me was the level of both professional and emotional support they provided. Moving house can be a stressful experience, but Sarah and Jack were always on hand to offer guidance, reassurance, and clear communication at every stage. Their knowledge and dedication made a real difference and gave me confidence throughout the process. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to buy, sell, or arrange a mortgage. Thank you both again for all your help!
25th May 2026 (20 days ago)I would like to express my disappointment with the situation regarding the cancellation of our reference by your agency. After Nicola decided to cancel our reference, I was informed that I wouldn't be eligible for a refund of my deposit. The most frustrating part is that she's now disputing this, claiming that we failed the referencing process, despite initially stating that she was cancelling the reference herself. When I pointed out that if she believed we failed referencing, she should refund my money, she became rude and refused, stating she would never give me my money back.

She was always friendly, and a pleasure to deal with. We really appreciated her support and would highly recommend her. ??????
16th May 2026 (29 days ago)We engaged Rowena from Bonds to sell our flat. We had been to other local Estate Agents, who in our opinion were under valuing the property just to achieve a quick sale. We had a figure in mind, because it was effectively a bespoke property, which she was more than happy to run with. The whole process was seamless, and we were constantly updated on viewings, and prospective buyers. We managed to get a buyer reasonably quickly, and once again we were kept informed on the progress, including what we could expect from the legal side. The legal side is always the problematic part of the process, but Rowena was constantly professional and proactive , always managing to ease our constant frustration with the lack of urgency from the legal side. When we eventually sell our main dwelling, and downsize we will not hesitate in retaining the services of Bonds and Rowena!

They were consistently responsive and professional, and it was a pleasure working with them. I also happen to think they do a great job with the photography and details of the listings that they represent, and as someone on the buy-side I can only say that I was impressed by the quality of the listings they represent.

16th Jul 2025 (10 mo. ago)We switched agents to Goodchild after a slow 3 months with another agent. James was confident that he would get our house sold for the full guide price and he delivered. Unfortunately, our sale fell through after a number of months, just before Christmas. We were considering pulling the house from the market but James said he had other buyers and he delivered again. Our house sale completed with the new buyers very quickly and for full guide price. James brings enormous confidence and energy to the sale process. He’s resilient and ultimately delivers on his promises. We really appreciated the approach he took to communicating with us and the support provided by his team. I have already recommended James to neighbours and would trust him again. He’s a great guy who works hard for his clients. Thank you James. J&R.
